Crossing the bridge you will be catapulted into another era, even from an architectural point of view, you will leave behind modern and touristy Stockholm, the shops and department stores, to enter medieval Stockholm. From here it will be possible to reach the ancient district: Gamla Stan. So with just a few steps, it will be possible to admire both the new and the old Stockholm.

We visited Arvfurstens Palats in Stockholm and enjoyed the architecture and scenery immensely. The city is vibrant and comes alive at night and the people were very friendly, the only downside is it is a little expensive compared to home, so might not be the best location for a budget holiday... It was good to see where they hand out them Nobel Prizes though.
