Really good highly recommend. Staff extremely pleasant and helped us with out woth getting our skates on. And when noticed my little one was struggling offered an aid to get around though she was over the height limit suggested for them. Made it enjoyable. Thanks again

Accessible venue, with comfortable seats and a great selection of drinks. It would be better if you could take your drinks to your seat, as it was incredibly warm.

My first time at the Forum and seeing Genesis Connected, both of them made for an enjoyable evening. The venue was well presented and seemed very professional. Getting to our seats was quick and easy, and we then had great views of the stage from our position in one of the boxes. Acoustics were great during the concert, clear lyrics and a nice authentic sound. Look forward to returning in the future. As an electric vehicle driver it was disappointing that the charge points weren't working properly when we visited. I appreciate these are operated by a third party, but it would be good to see the venue taking a proactive role in ensuring their availablity is maintained (see comments on Zap Map). Just a small niggle really in an otherwise pleasant experience at the Forum.

ice is decent, people their are friendly. however the apparent lack of communication and inability to update the times on the website is ridiculous. times during school holidays are around half the time of a session during term time but the prices are kept the same, so you're paying potentially £10 for an hour and a half

First time visit. Went to the UK Rock Show(80s rock) Plenty of free parking nearby. Drinks are reasonably priced also. Would visit again

I Don't like being ignored when trying to visit. Two members of staff just both looked at me, and continued talking, I actually had to ask who is serving, to which I was told we both are!!!. Ps it was not busy, I was the only person stood there.

Love this place I go here a lot. It gets a bit too many people though during the weekend. At least 100 people on the rink, I’d like a bit more space and would be good if the place closed later at night around 5pm or 6.

Took my mother there for the ballet at the theatre. Good parking and great access as she uses a walker. Helpful friendly staff. Already booked for another couple of shows.

Went to clip and climb to watch grandchildren use this facility. The staff were brilliant with the kids. The Forum has changed so much since I used to go there as kid and is still a great facility for the area

Go here for the badminton courts. It is what it is but the service is terrible. Have to check in and receptionist was just having a chat wasting our time. A class came in 5mins early to shoo us off. Staff saying it's closing time when we just started our hour booking. Only came here really for Aldi nearby.

So just got home from this lovely little theatre, toilets were spotless, staff very helpful, polite and friendly

  • 4/5 Sandra F. 1 year ago on Google
Theatre has good shows and not too expensive. Like the small boxes, access may be a little difficult for disabled though, would need to be checked out with staff

A nice evening ice-skating. Well kept building, helpful staff and plenty of information dotted about. Very fairly priced for skating, boots can be hired onsite which makes life easier. Great little cafe onsite. it does a lovely flat white with a great option on cakes, snacks and pastries.

Went with friends to see Disco inferno. Had fabulous seats , the show was amazing. Went for pre-drinks in the bar area & we were invited to use the VIP lounge which was lovely, made us feel quite special. The Staff are hard working & very friendly & helpful. It's a great theatre.

Cooks Cafe is now open in the Forum. Very friendly and good food. I have had two excellent meals so far. Really good to have lunch after ice skating.

Fantastic place. I take my granddaughters now its only their 2nd time and they love it. They have made some new friends too

Very unorganised. Spent most of the time queuing. Far too many people on the ice rink, making it difficult to actually skate. A booking system with less people allowed in may work better on Christmas Eve

  • 3/5 Marie Comby C. 1 year ago on Google
Just seen Tina the show was amazing but I had 2 small tins of cider in my bag to drink but never got to drink them as they were taken off me as not allowed your own alcohol i did forget to get them on the way out so I had to purchase a drink from their bar which was £4.10 ...... First time at this theatre but think I will stick to Sunderland or Newcastle theatres from now on.

  • 3/5 Scarldoc 1 year ago on Google
Pretty decent experience for those who are comfortable on the ice due to 100 people clinging onto the sides. Extremely busy, no way to book online to prevent hour long queues, we ended up spending longer queueing than we had time on the ice. No space for beginners to find their feet

Back again for 80's Mania. Seats choice good view, friendly staff, clean toilets and great show. Only issues were music that loud couldn't hear singers when singing solo songs or mallards very well (and someone even shouted out a couple of times stating this) plus speaker was too bass'ey and could feel vibrations shuddering through the floor. Forum staff should test these before show.

  • 5/5 Ella B. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic time there, especially to see the acts on for the motown. I really enjoyed it. It was a shame there wasn't much room to get up and dance to the songs sang. But overall, it's a very good night

Went to see Rock Show UK. Small venue but nicely situated for easy parking and access. Very friendly staff including the security which is fabulous to experience as someone who does that for a living and regularly sees poor examples. Venue is great for seeing the stage. Most people got up and danced about, it was a Rock Show after all, not sure some of the older people at the back were fussed about this, but for me I just joined in and it helped the atmosphere. Bar was a bit frantic and busy at interval but not really a complaint as it's hard to do otherwise at a sell out when that's probably an exception, rather than the rule. Very clean and tidy and pristine toilet facilities. Enjoyed the evening and would happily recommend it or go back again. Well done Forum staff 👏.

Wow, I had the bestest time at the ice skating rink! It was my first time ever, and it was super duper fun! When I walked in, I saw a big, shiny ice rink. It looked so cool! There were lots of people skating around, and some of them were doing tricks and spins. They were really good! But you know what made it even better? They had these cute penguin helpers! They were like special friends that helped me stay steady on the ice. I held onto them, and they kept me from falling. They were so fluffy and adorable! The ice was so smooth, and I loved sliding and gliding on it. Sometimes I wobbled a little, but the penguin helpers were there to help me. They made me feel safe and confident. I even tried to skate by myself for a little bit! The people who worked at the rink were really nice. They helped me put on my skates and gave me tips on how to skate better. They smiled a lot and cheered when I did a good job. It made me feel really happy! I had the most amazing time at the ice skating rink. If you want to try ice skating, I think you'll have so much fun too. The penguin helpers are the best, and the ice is so cool to slide on. Just remember to bring warm clothes and have a grown-up with you. It's a super cool place to have a fun adventure!

Not enough parking when events are on. I got a £35 parking fine and not even if double yellows, watch out for the parking vultures.

Only used the pool recently but clean centre and friendly staff. Social distancing covid measures great recently, meaning you have to book online and the pool isn't crowded.

Amazing experience here with my daughter the other day. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Have to say skating with a 5 year old is easier now that there has to fewer people on the ice at once. Don't be put off by calling to book as the member of staff I spoke to was friendly and helpful too. Very well managed overall and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and wants to come back soon. Thank you!

This Theatre has recently been refurbished and is looking very smart. There is a very good programme of shows throughout the year, a bar and also a VIP lounge for anyone who wants to pay a small amount to use it.
