I am always so thankful after visiting Signature Smiles Dental that they are our dentists. Every staff member is extremely friendly and so very helpful. They care about and for us as if we were family, always looking out for all of our dental needs. The hygienist, assistants and dentists are gentle and precise. The office staff makes navigating insurance and billing easy to understand. We love Signature Smiles Dental Care!

Doctors are good. It's extremely unprofessional when it comes to billing I was told that I won't be able to get my records to go to another dentist. It got extremely personal and extremely messy and I had to contact an attorney. They do upsell, the wrong tooth was pulled, but they stated that the reason why I was still in pain was because when I got my original extraction another tooth chipped. I reached out to another dentist to have my records sent over because I paid for those and so did my insurance, and they refused while also saying that it makes them look bad that I prefer to see someone else. So after being billed and addressed about personal matters that was extremely unprofessional. ...I'm still having tooth pain. I had to contact my attorney because they refused my x-rays. When I spoke to the representative, she kept ***talking over me*** | felt like I was having an argument from high school. It made me extremely uncomfortable, but like I said, the doctors are good when it comes to taking out the tooth, but they do upsell you. I have a bill for over $200. Originally I made a payment with my first extraction for over $200. However, I still have pain. The representative did make a statement and say that the "doctors need to be paid" which is completely understandable that's the point of the practice... however, as a patient, my insurance paid, and I originally paid to get a tooth pulled so the patient also should still be taken care of Without paying hundreds of dollars with dental insurance.

A phenomenal experience. 2 visits, 2 perfect experiences. They are extremely friendly and explained the procedures/price very well. Jennifer is a virtuoso and adapts to your needs. Go see her now before she moves on to teach others how to do the great work she does. I only have positive things to say about their entire staff.

Had a great visit with my dentist. Always a very pleasant experience. Everyone at the dentist office is so very nice, cheerful and highly professional. This dental office definitely get an A+ for service and professionalism. Dr. Buen and her staff are the best out there in regard to dental services. It is so upto date. Things are getting better with new appliances. I sleep better trying not to have health problems. Oxygen is one of the important things that help our whole body and mind. They are into my and your well being. Feel like part of a family. Lots of positive energy .

I wish I found Dr. Buen and her awesome staff a long time ago. I avoided dental care for almost 20 years so I was in serious need of help. It's been two weeks since the extensive work was completed, and I feel like a completely changed person. I wake up without fear, feel happier, and honestly, healthier--all thanks to Dr. Buen's artistry and care and her excellent team. You can tell that she's a great problem solver - I don't think there's anything she couldn't fix, improve, or make healthier. I trust her completely. And what a dental office! The staff was all of the good adjectives: kind, professional, attentive, funny, and genuine. When you've needed help like I did but haven't sought it for so long, it's truly incredible to have everyone along the way listen and excel in their work while genuinely caring for their patients. You can also tell that the office is a well oiled machine without ever feeling like a machine. This is clear from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the warm front desk staff. If, like me, you've been avoiding dental work for whatever reason, don't hesitate--make an appointment here. They'll take excellent care of you.

If I could give Dr. Buen and her team 100 stars I would. Very professional and accommodating. A fantastic team of techs and receptionist staff. Doctor Buen is one of the kindest human beings that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Always willing to help and listen. When I was struggling to figure out how to pay for all of the services that I needed she helped me figure out a way how. With not a greedy bone in her body she gave me my smile back. I opted for the Invisalign treatment and she took care of me every step of the way. Thanks to her I have a beautiful smile after only 9 months. Signature smiles is the best dentist office with the best doctor.

I rarely write reviews like this but am compelled to because my experience at Signature Smiles was that bad. The staff are very sales-oriented and employ deceptive tactics. I felt really uncomfortable from the first visit and knew I was being upsold. My teeth and gums were in great shape according to my former [transparent and honest] dentist who I saw for almost 10 years before relocating to Oak Park and so I took the SS dentist’s dramatic and dire warnings about my dental health with a grain of salt. I have decent insurance so I decided to go along with SS’s recommendations. Neither the dentist nor the support staff would clearly convey to me what my treatment plan would be, why I needed it, and how, when, or why certain costs might be triggered. After my procedure I was prepared to ghost the place and find a new dentist but discovered they ended up billing me incorrectly for the services rendered and they over-collected $200+ (in out-of-pocket costs) from me. I had to do all the legwork for their incompetent ‘billing office’ to rectify the mistake. They were strangely unapologetic and almost expected me to sympathize with how tricky insurance can be. Unbelievable. My interactions with that office had to continue way longer than I wanted and I'm so glad I'm completely done with them now. They make everything so weird and personal that I was frankly kind of afraid to post a bad review before my refund check cleared. Oh and one of the fillings I got (purely for cosmetic purposes and pushed onto me by the dentist) fell off within a couple months… lol.
