The place is horrible. PLEASE DONT STAY HERE! The general manager Jayla Shelburn & her sister LIYAH has the most RUDE && NASTY ATTITUDE. First Liyah tried to scam my mother out of more money for her room. Then the “ general manager “ turn around and did the same thing. They will lie and tell you the room price is this price then turn around and give you another price. PLEASE BOOK ONLINE IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO STAY LONGER THAN A WEEK. THEY ARE TRYING TO POCKET THE MONEY FOR THEMSELVES. On top of that they both live there at the hotel. refuse to give you corporate number when you try to report them from scamming elder people and people out of there money. THEY HAD THE WRONG ELDER TO TRY & STEAL FROM.”General Manager “ stated I don’t care who you tell nothing going to happen or change” I stayed clam and reported everything. PEOPLE PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR TWO PEOPLE. They will be hearing from my lawyer. I’m not stopping until something get done. My mother wasn’t the only person they did this to. All of us are working together to get our issues solve. If you can avoid this place PLEASE DO. THE REVIEWS ABOUT HER BEING NICE IS a LIE! Stay there and you will see for yourself. Very noisy allday long, police stay at the hotel 24/7..

We are a family with children which explain why we got a suite with 2 queen beds This hotel has a ridiculous policy! They only provide 1 towel per bed (queen size which should be 2!) The kitchen has no utensils at all and they make everyone pay if they need any. There is no iron provided in the room. The views are not great either. There is nobody at the reception desk most of the time. They only allow one device to use the guest wifi at one time. We had stayed at a lot of suites before and this is the first time we encounter a hotel with absurd policy and practice. The price doesn’t match the service.

Places horrible the people that work there are completely and totally rude and they're scamming people by kicking people out and charging them 250 saying they were smoking in the room when nobody smoked in the room whatsoever

My room wasn't ready the day I was supposed to start my month stay so I had to go to another hotel for the night. The next day, I arrive to a digusting smell of animal alongside sticky floors in my room. Through out my stay, I heard the people right next to me screaming and yelling several times, the smell of weed would linger the halls on occassion, and my smoke alarm in my own room would go off for no reason even while I was in bed going to sleep. Thing is I have never smoked and the employees who came to check my room realized that and that the smoke detector was faulty. The worse part was that I arrived to my room around 7pm one day and I was locked out. I knew I had several days left before my stay ended so I was confused as to why. The management decide that I need to pay to fix the smoke detector and they told me that I had "touched it". Instead of charging me $250, they cut my days shorter but didn't tell me or notify me in advance. So for everyday I stayed extra they would have charged me an additional $60. I told the manager that even some of the employees knew of the issues with the smoke alarm but she still accused me of "touching" the smoke detector. So they ended up charging me an additional $60 and I left earlier than I was supposed to. I would not recommend anyone staying here for even one night as the management or the other tennets are going to mess with you in someway. Spend the extra cash for a better hotel or try to find another place that offers longer stays because this place is not worth it.

I just want to say thank you and a shout out to Jayla the manager and Tasha and Kevin her front desk staff. They all were amazing and I’m not just saying it. Great customer service, very accommodating and welcoming and over just a good experience. I was just at another hotel in the area. I won’t say names, but Jayla and her crew ran circles around them. And not to mention how clean the hotel is inside and out. Great job guys! WoodSpring give these folks a raise cause they deserve it! Thank you again!!!!

You will NEVER get any sleep. Walls and floors are paper thin. Guests will blast music and run around all night up into the early morning. All staff will do is ask them to stop, they don't enforce anything. The staff are very nice and always helpful, I just wish they enforced quiet hours more. Some of these guests are terrible.. Not a good place for a working professional to stay. If you have to stay here get on the top floor and pray you're not next to someone that blasts their TV all night or has a crying baby. My white noise machine is turned up to max volume and I can still hear the people above me running and stomping around.

I have stay twice at the woodspring in Addison. The first time the room was very clean. The second time the room could have been cleaner the counter top was dirty and the bath tub had long black hair in it. Definitely not mine since I have short curly and red hair. I don't understand how they figure their price per night. They were rude the first time, but second time okay much better. I really like how the hotel is very pet friendly. However the walls are thin and it is very loud at night, the halls smell of pot every day.

They told me they were an upgrade compared to the “extended stay” franchise, I found this to be false! No cabinet space for groceries, no mirror in the room, a cheap conference chair for the desk that sits extremely too low for me to do any work, 2 flimsy pillows, bed look like it’s on stilts, very small closet space w/ no door or curtain, no blow drier, no cabinet space in the bathroom, the linen was dirty and it’s very cheap, no trash room on the floor (have to go outside to remove trash). This is a glorified jail or dorm room to be honest. Disappointed!!!

STAY AWAY. Place is infested with cockroaches. Was told over the phone weekly rate was $216. Upon arrival they tried charging me $700. After 1 night of cockroaches everywhere and people yelling all night as well as the place smelling like weed I decided to leave early. They didn’t want to refund me the additional 6 days until I threatened them with calling the health department

Been staying here for 2 months . The lobby has a very weird smell sometimes , but is kept clean & clutter free. It is close to the highway so it can be loud with the passing cars and trucks . This is the second Woodsprings I’ve stayed in and they did not have housekeeping, which is kinda frustrating since you have to pay for linens exchange & cleaning ..I never heard of paying extra for something thats normally expected at a hotel.

My family and I have been staying here for over a month now and so far so good. The Manager, Ms. Jayla has been very professional, respectful and courteous whenever we communicate with her. My family and I have witnessed Ms. Jayla and her staff work tirelessly everyday to keep this place clean and functioning. EVERY DAY at different intervals of the day, we have seen her staff sweeping, mopping, sanitizing the floors; wiping down doors; picking up trash thrown around by the guests in and outside of the property, etc. The location of the Hotel is convenient and the rooms are modern, and not rundown like some of the other extended stays we had visited. The Hotel is well maintained by Ms. Jayla, her Handyman and her staff. The only negative thing here are some guests who toss trash on the floors inside and outside of the property; Ms. Jayla and her staff work hard to keep the place clean and neat. Kudos to Ms. Jayla and her staff for doing a fine job dealing with some of the "guests" and still maintain the cleanliness of the property.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Room was full of cockroaches. I let the front desk know and she told me they did not have any other rooms. She also stated they can reimburse me the money. A cockroach infestation is a health hazard. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. A lot of people have complained about this hotel, please read the reviews and avoid staying here. HORRIBLE. 0 stars. Floor and walls full of this small size bugs.

I just called here and spoke to Tasha. She was not only professional, but helpful and friendly. Very upfront about prices and more descriptive about the rooms. My stress level has decreased thanks to her!

Very hard to get in and out, rooms not worth the money you pay. No maid service, you throw out your own garbage, supply all your own dishes, pots, linens and towels. Plus they raise price every month. Stay away

Nasty place, nasty people! We arrived today, the cashier had to charge me 109 USD and instead charged me 194 USD. The room was nasty, the floors, the sheets, we even found hairs in the bath tub, my god! I asked for an extra pillow and they said no, I asked for an extra blanket and they said no, totally disrespectful, when I complained about this at 23:03 and at 23:06 the general manager came banging on the door to tell me that tomorrow we gotta check out (obviously we are) while she had someone on the phone listening and acting as a witness, she should be fired, totally rude and disrespectful, I want a refund of my money! Please, don't come to this place!

Honestly, I can't blame the staff for what occurred during my stay. The two front desk workers that I had an experience with were very kind and accommodating. The room was clean, if spartan. There were pillows and sheets and a blanket on the bed. That's essentially where the good things I have to say about this stay end. When I got to the room there were no towels, or soap in the room, or shampoo or conditioner, hair dryer or barest amenities. The wifi issue is a DISASTER. It's free for a single device, which made juggling devices that receive data tricky. One night I linked my cellphone to the wifi and the next day I was unable to use the wifi at all on the same phone. I don't like to be "that person" that leaves terrible reviews for a hotel that is having a hard time staffing and getting things done. But this went from not ideal to getting worse very quickly.
