The food is so good, i had the traditional breakfast and my friend had chicken avocado sandwich, I shared from hers and I wish that was what I ordered too 😫😂 it was so good. The server was very nice and really helpful.

Cute and clean place that has a farm-like setting. Customer service is great and the food is fresh and delicious. They also brew their own customized coffee/espresso made by Big Shoulders, which smells divine. Sabrina recommended Buenos Dias Bagelwich which was fresh and soft. Stop in.

This place never disappoints, their menu is so delicious! I got a salmon egg Benedict, and they also have a basil egg Benedict as well. Both really good. They socially distance indoors in a well ventilated room and also have outdoor seating. Staff are super friendly! They hosted our family gathering of 12 people. Thanks again!

The place is very nice. The host guy/barista was super nice, but he had a lot of cologne on... like a lot. I felt sick to my stomach when he walked past me. It was intense. The server was nice enough and was detailed describing the menu items. But disappeared after she brought our order. She returned with the bill later. My husband did not like the banana bread French toast/skillet combo. He said the banana bread French toast was just banana bread with bananas on it. There was nothing making it French toast. It wasn't dipped in egg and cooked. It was just a slice of banana bread. And he felt it was overly sweet. He did like the little bowl of fruit, however. And he did enjoy the very small bowl of skillet. I had some chicken rice soup, it tasted like premade rehydrated soup. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't taste from scratch. The chili was not good. Swedish pancakes were good, but I've had better. They came with lingonberry butter and lingonberries on the side. None of the breakfast dishes we had came with bacon or sausage. I felt the dishes were expensive for what they gave us. I had a cappuccino, which was good, but there was barely any foam. It was just liquid. I've had some amazing cappuccinos, so I was not impressed with this one. We ordered the bourbon maple bacon, and I thought it was delicious. It kinda had the texture of jerky, though. Reminded me of a brown sugar jam I had at someone's Christmas dinner once. My husband couldn't get over the chewy texture or syrupy sweetness of the bacon. He likes bacon to taste like bacon, so I guess it's not for everyone. One thing I did like about this place was that it had soothing music and it wasn't too busy or loud.

Beautiful atmosphere and phenomenal, fresh menu. Had a Cozy Scrambler special with a vanilla cappuccino, all delicious. Laura was a fantastic server. Ambience was perfect (I want your playlist!) Will be back every time I'm in the Oak Brook area!

My husband and I love this place. It's great for a family breakfast and the best thing is that they have a gluten free menu. It's our family place for breakfast!

This was our 1st time going to this Egg Harbor. We used to go to the one in Schaumburg. My wife had the spice chicken she didn't care for it. I had the build your own skillet. I suggest getting there early it's very popular. Service was good the wait for a table, which wasn't long.

A friend and I were on a trip to Chicago and went here for breakfast one morning because Google showed it on our way and it was well rated. The ratings are well earned! It's a little on the pricier side for breakfast, but it has a really nice, cozy and chill atmosphere, the service is fast and friendly and the food is absolutely fantastic. I can say I've never been served tea this way in a restaurant before. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back if we're in town again.

Staff was nice and friendly but I guess the waitress forgot to bring our food out. By the time we got the good it was almost cold, very mildly warm. It still tasted good but 🤷‍♀️ you know. As it was getting closer to closing time, about 45 mins to 2pm (when we noticed it). It sounds like the kitchen was ready to go. They had music on loud enough to hear in the seating area which was otherwise pretty quiet. I'd go again because I think forgetting the food was an honest mistake and the food was good. Hopefully next time my food will not be cold and all will be great.

Somewhat quiet place to get a meal. Tried their shakshuka and was pleasantly surprised with how good it tasted. The staff were incredibly hospitable and were very helpful with answering questions. Their house made jam was also amazing and went really well with the English muffin.

Got the Eggceptional Skillet Combo. It was tasty, portions were well, and the atmosphere was calm. There are many selections to choose from. Including lunch sandwiches, soups, and salads. I highly recommend you invite a friend/ family member and enjoy yourselves.

Just had an excellent experience and meal at this egg harbor. We checked in online and were seated immediately when we showed up. They were super accommodating for our twin 9month olds. Our server was Esbeydy and she was 10/10 superb. And the food was good and brought out to our table in 10 minutes. Perfect Sunday breakfast.

The coffee is out of this world and their service is super fast and friendly. I highly recommend their avocado toast, salmon Benedict and their pancakes. I will continue to try the rest of their dishes.

Something for everyone here. Being on a special diet there are few places I can eat and feel satisfied. The sweet potato hash veggie skillet is perfect for me.

The food was cooked as desired and the fall menu that we tried was fantastic. The staff was very polite and courteous but they forgot the bacon we ordered and after reminding them, we still never received it.

Small plates, small portions, seemes stingy to me and overpriced, the eggs, om the Azetec dish were overcooked, even the potatoe portions were quite tiny, potatoes are cheap... bill for 9 of us was over 200 dollars. Service was excellent but food portions were tiny, even the sausage in the eggs, aas only a few small pieces, so the food and value brings down the stars to 3 and that generous for this stingy place.

This was a great breakfast spot. I enjoyed a Farmers Market Bennedict, and a Blueberry White Mocha. Both were extremely delicious, and very fresh. You can tell they have great ingredient sourcing as the food was so fresh! Host and server were both very nice and the environment was relaxed. I wish I had one of these by my home!

Amazing food and great service! Went with friends and we all 3 enjoyed our meal there this morning before heading to airport. Had the Habanero Hash with eggs over medium. It was the perfect amount of spice for all you heat lovers. I tried the spicy Bloody Mary but wasn’t much of a fan, the hostess was kind enough to remove that item without me even asking though! We ended up sharing the key west crepes and we were not disappointed!! Highly recommend!!!

First time visit. The food was good. However, I had the avocado toast and was not the star. The balsamic vinger and arugula stole the show. Other than than the eggs and chicken sausage was very good.

We did the San Antonio skillet, biscuits and gravy, and cinnamon roll French toast. Everything was amazing. The biscuits were perfect, the skillet was excellent and the jalapeños really added a nice zip and flavor. 10/10. Would highly recommend.

Great food. Excellent service. I loved the ambiance of the place. The waitress, Liz, was very attentive. She patiently explained the special of the day several times and took care of us. We also ordered cinnamon raisin toast, loved it. The fruit cup was well arranged. I loved their tea; it had a rich flavor especially since it was not a simple teabag. You can easily see and taste the character of the place. I will be a repeat customer.

Love when you get to experience something different. Egg Harbor Cafe was great. Service and staff was quick and knowledgeable of the menu. Atmosphere was subtle and farmish. Food was delicious. This is not a standard breakfast place. Has Chicago pricing. I'd come back when in area.

My favorite brunch spot! Very consistant, delicious food! Lots of gluten free or dairy free options that taste better than a lot of other places! My mother and I are disabled - there is no automatic door, but the hostess often holds the door for us! I go here way too often, so their point system is great and gives me a discount every few visits!

This is a great place for breakfast. We were there on a Sunday morning. They were busy but we were seated quickly. Our waitress came quickly and took our order. The food came out fast and was amazing. My husband had the lemon poppyseed pancakes. The lemon glaze on it was unbelievably delicious. I had the cinnamon roll French toast which was also really good. We both made ours combos to get eggs and a meat with it. Topped my eggs with their Egg Harbor seasoning that was with the salt and pepper. It was a great blend and bought a bottle to bring home. Highly recommend this place!

Not bad. I've visited the Glenn Ellyn location and have always enjoyed their small menu. I like how it also changes and they offer different things. The only thing I did not enjoy on this visit were the Chilaquiles. They were served in a bowl style plate and way too much so they were soggy and not very crunchy.

The food was really good, I had the skillet combo which was nice because you get a little bit of everything. My only issue was that the temperature was not hot, only warm. The French Toast was delicious, and my girlfriend's biscuits and gravy was yummy- super fluffy biscuits!

My friend ordered breakfast and I ordered tea. Her food took about 20 mins. It then sat there for about 5 minutes until she decided to ask how much longer. He gave her the food and she asked about my tea. He hadn't brewed it yet. He went to do that so I waited. While waiting I watched him scratch his beard over the cups he was sitting out to pour coffee and tea into it. It was at that moment I decided to get my money back and leave. My friend also said her food was nasty (especially the grits for her).

I really like this spot for breakfast. I try to get something different each time I go. The lobster skillet is off the chain(for those who don't understand...it's very good!) The place is very clean and they take your temperature when you come in. The host staff is very nice and attentive.

I don't know if this place was good before Covid but it is extremely overpriced to get cold and poorly packaged food that wasn't even ready when I got there. How did it have time to get cold from the door to my car where my Benedict looked like it was shaken up in the box? They also have the nerve to charge $4 for a plain cup of coffee. I know this is a chain so big bosses if your out there fix this before this lack of effort catches on to the rest of your locations.

This place is amazing! Our waitress, Erin, was very attentive and personable. The food was outstanding and the manager is also very polite. You can tell Egg Harbor Cafe has taken proper precautions to keep customers safe amid COVID-19.

All the staff wore face masks, and wore them correctly, I might add. They were patient and accommodating with our requests. We didn't wait long for our food, and they didn't forget anything, which seems to be common these days. The came back to the table to check on us occasionally, but absolutely DIDN'T seem pushy or bothersome. The prices were as good as the food. If we are in the area again, we will be back.
