I went for brunch on a Sunday and I really liked that you're able to join the wait list before arriving. By the time we arrived we waited less than 10 minutes for a table. It was packed which is a good sign. The drinks were yummy and the food was delicious. They price was pretty good. The portions looked small when the food arrived but it was a perfect amount, I must have been hungry. Service was great, only thing the water glasses were kind of dirty but we could/should have asked for different ones.

Very cool and nice place. Found some photos online and went for the first time. I saw a long line and was about to head back but thought to try. Since we were the two of us we instantly got a place. Ordered a nice drink, and two plates. Will definitely return back.

Everything at this location was great! Not only were the food and juices delicious but they also tasted so fresh. The staff was friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed.

The food. The ambiance. The staff. Wow. So happy to have found this place. Had the chia seed pudding with fruits, granola and berry compote. Heavenly! Almond butter on wheat toast with a sprinkle of salt? Genius. I had a watermelon lime juice mix. It was refreshing and original. My entire family literally ate it all up. My child loved the scrambled eggs! Who raves about scrambled eggs? Unless they’re amazing. The interior is beautiful and modern, a sleek farmhouse design perhaps? And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely going back several times.

This is one of the best places to go for breakfast/lunch. The food is great and the team is awesome. Only issue we had was that we where advised to check in online but when we got there, had waited another hour and half because checking in online didn’t matter.

This was my first time here. There was no wait to be seated. There was a very friendly host at the door also. The food was a tad bit slow coming out. It wasn't that many people there. It was more of brunch time. But the food was pretty good! We enjoyed it. They have a juice bar, and you have to try it. Pricey but delicious. Our server, think her name was Jay. Was super nice. Good food, good service, I'll be back!

The down home country atmosphere really set the tone for what's to come. The hostess and servers were pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu, deals and informed us of upcoming seasonal changes to the menu without being prompted. Everyone made me feel like I had found a southern gem in the north! The hibiscus tea was very balanced not too sweet or too treat and the toffee caramel crunch beverage was a nice treat but both were on their way out with the new years seasonal menu. We started with million dollar bacon and seasonal ginger donutholes. Then for entrees I had the chickenchanga and my wife opted for the triple threat. The eggs were high quality and scrambled perfectly. The sausage had a nice blend of herbs. The potatoes were jam-packed with flavor and fresh fried onions. The chikenchanga was by far the best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time. I'd you're a fan of cheese, chorizo Anna avocados you'll love it. We left with our spirits lifted, our bellies full and smiles on our faces. Very happy to see the brand is consistently good from Kansas to Illinois. The location was great too if you need to do errands before or after brunch. We also appreciated the extra touches like being able to see the short order cooks work their magic due to the open door plan and ensuring the theme was consistent even in the restroom. The only cons: not being able to make a reservation so there's always at least 10 minute table wait, the million dollar bacon is highly overrated so I wouldn't order it again, the fruit was somehow flavorless, the cashier ran out of gift cards right before I checked out and although the staff was super sweet to the customers the hostess and cashier were obviously not getting on very well.

Heard great things about this spot and was excited to try this new spot in Illinois. This visit and food did not disappoint. Visited around noon on a Saturday and waited less than 5min. Pictured here is their Million Dollar Bacon, Avocado Toast, and Morning Meditation Juice. Million Dollar Bacon was tasty and candied in a way, and a bit overly drenched in agave, honey, or maybe maple syrup(?). Avocado Toast came with basted eggs which I could probably pass up next time. Their artisan bread/toast was delicious. My Husband had The Traditional (not pictured here) and the potatoes that came with the dish were very tasty and different from other breakfast, brunch, or lunch spots we've been to. We also ordered coffee and they bring out a carafe. Ask for a cup for coffee to-go if needed. Also ordered their Morning Meditation Juice to-go which was a nice way to end our brunch. Overall, food was not overly seasoned and prices were average for this sort of meal. From the hosts at the front to our server, everyone was friendly. First Watch seems to be opening a few other locations in the Chicagoland area and wouldn't mind trying other items on their menu including a 2 For You option.

The service and staff were great and friendly. Food was delicious and different than your typical breakfast/ brunch place; which is just what we were looking for. Be prepared to wait a little bit as the place was packed the entire time; that's how good it is. You definitely won't leave disappointed or hungry; a must try. Some items are seasonal and delicious as well. Steak and Bacon Breakfast Burrito is delicious and seasonal.

If you want to go here on a weekend make sure you don’t expect to be seated right away. The wait can be long. The coffee is GREAT with a fresh pot on your table. The food was very good! Each bite really has soo much flavor and the portion sizes are perfect! There interior is very cozy and the service staff is welcoming. Only real complaint is that the service was very very slow. Felt like the server was only interested in taking the order and that’s it. He never returned after dropping our plates off at the table. We had to ask another server for water. We were finally able to ask for our check and to-go boxes. He gave us the check but no boxes. We’re had to ask again about 5 minutes later when he came back around. I was beyond with him but could tell from watching other servers that this isn’t the same experience for others. With that being said I will return and give service another chance.

My Mom and I stopped in after shopping for a brunch. They had the menu posted outside which was nice to let you know if they have something you may want before going in. We both decided to do the lunch 2 for deal. My Mom ordered the vegetable soup and veggie sandwich. I ordered the sweet honey pecan salad and the Monterey club. We both agreed everything was tasty. The sweet honey pecan salad was delicious! I also ordered a cold brew coffee which was good as well. The server was pleasant, the food came quickly, the menu had a lot of choices, the decor was modern and overall we enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We have already decided we will go back again.

This is a very trendy and inviting place for breakfast or lunch. I went there for breakfast. The menu was a list of interesting items. None of the boring stuff (maybe one). I ordered the smoked salmon and roasted vegetable frittata. What a great surprise it was. Smoked salmon, sundried tomatoes, roasted onions, and some other vegetables. I do not know what was the sauce they had on top, but for sure it was awesome. My mom ordered a typical breakfast. Her dish was put together nicely and was very inviting to eat. Service was great too. For sure try it. You wont be disappointed. Venture out and order something new.

First Watch in Oak Brook is a brunch lover's paradise. Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast to fuel your day or a healthier option to start your morning right, you'll find it here. With a diverse menu, fresh ingredients, and friendly service, it's no wonder this place has become a local favorite. Menu items I tried: Mimosa Million Dollar Bacon Floridian French Toast

Muffin Top Griddle Cakes and Million Dollar Bacon! (My co-worker had French Toast and taters which I also ordered later) First Watch has a very modern look to it. Service was good...I wasn't offered any water, I'm not sure if they offer water which is... Weird. The tables are small! Long plates probably aren't a good idea. We struggled to keep all of our items on the table. The food was very good though. Will definitely visit again when I'm in town.

AMAZING! One of the best waffles I’ve ever had in the last couple of months. Place is cute inside, good vibes, great food, service too. Super recommended!

Loved this cozy place for a brunch with the girls! I had the chorizo egg dish…yum! And their house coffee was awesome too. Not a big specialty coffee place, though they did have some seasonal iced coffees. The hibiscus drink that my friend ordered looked delicious and I’ll be getting that next time too! We got all our recs from our waiter who was attentive and friendly!

They told us it would be a 15 minute wait then proceeded to make us wait 45 minutes without saying anything. The service was super slow and after we finally got our drinks and seated it took 45 minutes for the food to come out. Not including waiting time before we ordered. Food was great though but service was insanely slow and probably won’t come back because of that

This is the best breakfast restaurant I’ve ever tried. The food is very seasoned unlike your usual breakfast spot. I really enjoyed my meal. And quality is outstanding. I ordered delivery. Everything was packed well.

Sunday stop after church approx 10:45am. Party of 4 -- waited about 20mins. Seated us at lovely booth. Server was helpful & efficient. Orders: -chickichanga (me) - see pix -trifecta (hubby) -crab & avocado toast (MIL) - see pix -tacos al pastor hash (nephew) portions were small, vera cruz sauce was super lemony. Total bill was about $67 with 1 coffee, 1 iced tea & 2 waters. Would I come here to try other dishes? prob not...there are so many other local breakfast places to try!!

Excellent food and service quality. The flavor is delicious and our server was super kind and friendly, always with a smile on her face and the perfect attitude, even when I complained about the long wait for a table and for our food: over 1 hour total. This is the only reason we didn't give a 5 star rating. We will definitely come back to this place.

Tried something different since I had never been here. I had the chikkichanga. Food was good. I'd come back and try other items. Grits were delicious.

Food and service were great. I had the Classic Benedict and Kale Tonic Fresh Juice. Highly recommend if looking for a good breakfast spot.
