They can't seem to get the orders right do not care when they're wrong and all I've gotten in return is a woman who's extremely rude and argumentative consistently 3 orders in a row same woman woman doesn't care had to order from some place else wasted an hour and a 1/2 of my time waiting on a meal. There were too many other good sock shops between your location and theirs to have to deal with bad food bad attitude and bad delivery service

I'd give zero stars but I want to warn people - got a cold pizza last time and figured well it happens and tried again and it's colder this time... called and was told to pick it up if you want it warm..... so careful getting a delivery

My husband and I used to love Big A. We've been ordering subs from them for a while, and they've always been great, until today. (Not a fan of their pizza, but that's because it's Greek style, and we prefer traditional Italian.) My only criticism is that they don't use enough tomato sauce on their chicken parm and meatball subs. So, we just ordered 2 chicken parm subs and specifically requested EXTRA sauce. The order slip also shows "extra sauce", confirming that they received the order correctly. Instead of giving us the extra sauce that we ordered, they gave us even LESS sauce than usual. There can't be more than 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce on this entire sub. Incredibly bland and DRY!!!!! Stop being so cheap, Big A. Are you really willing to lose loyal customers over 30 cents worth of tomato sauce? You know we can just go right across the street to DiPietro's, right? Why even offer "extra sauce" as an option on your online menu, if you're just going to ignore it?

Awesome place, got a Buffalo chicken finger sub with provolone and blue cheese and it was absolutely loaded and delicious. Great place I will definitely come by again.

I ordered a eggplant parm extra cheese not only was it sloppy out together the eggplant was over done and had the texture of baby food . But it was also cold . And there extra cheese they put American cheese which to me is gross everything was cold . Lady at the counter though was nice which is a plus . But it would have been nice to have a sub even if it was over done. I would never recommend this place for subs at least

Got a large cheese pizza terribly under cooked, legit couldn't even get a slice all the cheese ripped off the slice, the price was 16.00 which is ridiculous cause on the website it said 13.00 dollars. Then when asked they said the prices had been changed.? I wouldn't recommend getting any pizza.

Had many good experiences in the past but the last year or so I haven't had such good experiences so Ive only ordered a few times because everytime there is an issue. Got some pasta dishes for family and someone's meatball had a piece of plastic in it. The buffalo fingers look like chicken nuggets. Grilled chicken sub is giant pieces of breast that were dry. Here is a picture of the last steak and cheese a family member got, 10 minutes after picking it up, this is what it looked like. Had to throw out after attempting to eat it!

Arrived at opening, 10am. They were receiving a large order of bread from the local bread factory, which explains all the brown bags on the display. Haha. Service is pleasant as usual. Very nice people.

Paid $20 for a large tuna with delivery. Bread on the side. Could not eat this tuna it was filled to the brim with large chunks of celery. They were the size of small teeth and made it impossible to chew or eat. Dont order tuna!!! Not edible

One of the best bacon pizzas I have ever had. Highly, highly recommend trying one!!

the owner is terrible. he is very rude and yells at people if they don’t buy enough stuff. He expects everyone to spend at least $5 or you will be kicked out. he also blames people for stealing for no reason. will not be coming back to this place.

The sandwiches where packed , only thing is steak and cheese was soggy with grease, roll had silverware

It was a little disappointing. I had gone there for years when I lived and worked nearby. They were great, fresh bread, fresh ingredients and hefty portions. Not so much now. Plus it's still freezing in there!

I went there for the first time and I decided to try their chicken parm sub. The sub is big enough for two people. It had plenty of chicken and was very tender. I found it to be much better than other places however, the sub tasted a little bit plain. Perhaps a change in the tomato sauce will do the trick. I will definitely go back again!

Malden is blessed with many decent pizza shops (and well as Chinese eateries). I think this is the best place in town for pizza. The crust is crispy without being tough or hard, and there are plenty of decent toppings to choose from. Let others rave about the meaty subs. My vote always goes to vegetarian options. I get a tomato and basil basic pizza and then add other toppings like broccoli, onions and olives. This is not gourmet dining, but it is really good quick eats.

Everything I have ordered here has been delicious!! Fresh and great portions!! We got at least once a week!!

This is one of the best sub shops I've been too ...quality is a 10 out of 10.... the quantity and amount of food given in each meal or sub is unbelievable and 10 out of 10.... the service is impeccable the employees are fast and very nice people very friendly, their always busy ..... overall I rate 5 stars / 10 out of 10 ... We can only order out once in a blue moon because we are unable to afford it so when we do we hope for the best for our $. We gave Big A a try and it was a disappointment. I ordered well done steak and cheese and it was chewy and not cooked as requested. I couldn’t eat it. My husband got a steak bomb and same thing-it just wasnt great he took two bites and wrapped it up. The onion rings were decent-the jalapeño poppers were cold. It was Super upsetting because we probably can’t get takeout again til spring. Lots of leftovers that will just get trashed. :(
