Dave’s Fresh SANDWICHES!!! Def need a name change because everyone’s talking about the sandys! We got the Prosciutto Fig (GET THIS ONE on Focaccia Hot) on a Ciabatta Roll and the Pesto Chicken on Focaccia! Both HOT! We loved see the Proscuitto Fig, but it’s kind of like having kids. You don’t really have a favorite because they are all wonderful, but deep down there is one you’re leaning toward! And in this case it’s the Fig Sandy!! Really a unique Sandy because usually you see prosciutto on a charcuterie board with Fig or apricot spread, but this came in a sandwich form which is rare, but wonderful to see! The Pesto Chicken is more of a slow burn type ... we saved a half for later and it aged well like a red wine! The juices/oils were able to soak into the focaccia bread marinating just right!! Focaccia > Ciabatta Roll, both delicious, very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!!! @hungryhungryhumans_

The best part about this place is how kind and helpful the staff is. Given that it was my first time there, I was specially assisted by a lovely staff member about the fresh pasta and the in-house sauces they do. Their sandwiches taste divine. It does get really busy, and rightly so, but despite the wait, my grilled caprese sandwich was amazing! It was perfectly seasoned, the pesto was delicious and the portion size of the sandwich was generous and very filling. Moreover, as a vegetarian, I appreciated that there was an option to build your own sub if you didn't like any of their staple offerings. I was also told by one of the staff members that if any particular sub catches your fancy, you can always request to make it meatless. The prices are a little steep because it's not a big franchise store or supermarket but I think it's worth it! Would 100% recommend this place to grab lunch to go. Just be prepared to wait a little if you have not called ahead to place your order.

They mean it when they say fresh. Some of the best pasta and sandwiches I've had; you can also buy wine there that goes along with the pasta you get, just ask them for recommendations. My recommendations below: - Pasta: Butternut Squash Ravioli with Smoked Tomato Sauce. You have to buy both separately. Also try the meatballs. - Sandwich: DFP steak & cheese on Focaccia bread.

I love Dave's Fresh Pasta, but as an Italian American who keeps my family's tradition of pasta on Sundays alive, it's CRAZY to me that they are closed on Sundays. It's like they have no understanding of their clientele. ? Still, good place with some nice groceries and great fresh pasta.

Excellent selection of goods and inexpressibly valuable lunch options. One-stop-shop for midday eats, and for new wine acquisitions. The wine and cheese tastings, and the selection of beverages are both well curated and always interesting. When I'm cooking to impress, and need the appropriate pairings, I need only go to Dave's.

Cuban sandwich was really good. It would be better in a cuban bread but it goes fine with a baguette too. The portion was huge, enough for 2 people to share.

Our favorite local market! You can’t beat the sandwiches and prepared food! Call ahead to avoid wait times. Their wine selection is also fun to explore! They are quick to offer help and suggestions if you need them!

It's always fun to browse Dave's! The selection is pretty good for a smallish grocer, but the craft items available are usually tasty. It can get crowded at times but worth it.

Been a huge fan of Daves for years and recently used them for catering an office lunch and was once again blown away. If you are looking for a great local business to cater your next office event Dave’s is your place! The sandwiches/wraps were a huge hit (and had veg friendly options), the variety of chips/drinks was perfect, and the dessert tray was the favorite of the meal for sure! We will 100% be using them again for future work events

Had Dave's Fresh Pasta cater a networking event we held at our office and the service was amazing. Showed up right on time with all our food still nice and hot. Their menu variety served us well with us even being able to order a gluten-free pasta dish as well that tasted phenomenal. Our office clients were all fed and happy with our pastas and we will definitely cater from them again in the future!

Recently, we attended a wine/meal pairing after-hours. What a fun experience! Absolutely great Northern Italian food plus tasting of several new wines. Everyone should try this!

I bought two tickets for a pasta making class for my mothers 60th birthday for her and my dad. The week of I my mother and I got COVID and were down pretty bad. We unfortunately forgot about the class and couldn’t go anyways due to COVID so I tried to reach out and ask to have them transferred to another class and was told no transfers. So that was $200 wasted. My mom was really looking forward to it and disappointed. I understand no refunds but life happens and they were not accommodating to that at all.

Top 5 sandwich in Boston area . Grab a steak & blue, fig jam & prosciutto, or anything sun dried pesto. ALWAYS focaccia if it’s available. Then you Head down to mystic lake - now that’s an evening.

Legitimately the best locally made pasta I have ever had, and that includes the time I lived in New York. I cannot stress that the flavor and quality was second to none. The staff was also helpful and they had a good selection. They also sell their pasta to neighboring restaurants so keep an eye out for them on menus when you are out! We ran into it and it was just as good as if we bought it direct!

Great place for sandwiches!! They are pretty hefty - we ended up splitting 2 sandwiches for 2 meals 👀 you can ask for your sandwich to be pressed or served as is. Great place, just very busy so be prepared to wait ~15 mins!

DFP is incredible! Their sandwiches are very delicious and I don't think you can pick a bad one. Their other selections of fresh pasta, sauces, cheese, and other delicious food make this one of the best must visits in Davis Square.

Best pasta, of course. Gr8 sandwiches. Be sure to visit their wine shop. Fantastic collection of small label + natural/bio wines! Vast knowledge, recommendations, helpful at all $ levels.

Have always loved the fresh ravioli and the market but my daughter and I recently took a sauce making class with Chef Jason - it was excellent. Jason is a great teacher with down to earth recipes. Highly recommend the classes for cooks at all levels

Awesome pasta, and awesome sandwiches. Can't go wrong with anything you can get here. Really need more local food stores like this. Fresh, fairly priced and delicious. Can't ask for much. Also the people who work here are wicked friendly and will make suggestions on stuff if you're overwhelmed by their insane pasta list. It's a little overwhelming but just means more stuff to try! Photo is of one of their sandwiches - lamb one. They have a large selection to pick from and they're made fresh when you order. Very fast too, less than ten minutes to get one.

We ordered sandwiches and the sesame noodle salad for a large gathering in our yard, The food was excellent! Because we had a few last minute cancellations, we had sandwiches left over and people asked if they could take a sandwich home! They were that good. The delivery person called 15 minutes before the time he was supposed to arrive just to explain that he had run into some traffic and would be 10 minutes late. He was very apologetic and so polite. These days such kind and thoughtful behavior is an anomaly- so appreciated. I can't wait for the next time we order from Dave's Fresh Pasta!
