Went there for Mother’s Day and i was very disappointed with service, first of all they didn’t pick up the phone for my takeout order, the owners daughter is very disrespectful and rude to the customer and she needs to improve on the service if she expects me to be a returning customer, I been customer since the opening and the service has declined. When I received my food seemed to be quickly made and the some of my order was incorrectly made because she rushes u to order. Was very disappointed my morning was ruined!!

The food was creative and delicious. Not an ordinary pancake house. They serve breakfast and lunch and each plate was amazing. Chris waited on our table, and he was also terrific.

Cozy atmosphere. Service was great. The food was served much faster than expected and made to perfection. I will definitely return and recommend to family/friends. The best breakfast I've had outside of my own kitchen in a long time.

On Friday traveled from blue point for brunch at Javier which was our second visit and most likely our last. Arrived at 2:25. And yes we knew that they stop serving at 3:00, our server immediately asked what we would like to drink and we said coffee, her response "oh I'm sorry we have no coffee, evidently the pots were cleaned" What Not even an offer to make a pot of coffee. Is this customer service?, a way to treat customers that most likely would be spending more than $50.00 for brunch. So after ordering soft drinks we decided to leave and go to the diner where guess what they have coffee. Not the way to treat customers 😕

AMAZING FOOD!!! Great prices, friendly staff. Totally recommend as a breakfast or lunch spot. Sit, eat, and people watch right on main street.

Went to Javier’s with my wife for breakfast this morning. When we arrived, the place was busy but there were 3 empty tables pushed together in the middle of the restaurant and a small table up against the serving counter. The hostess sat two gentleman at the large table (in the center of the 3 tables) and told us it would be a few minutes wait for a table. (I assumed they were not sitting guests at the table adjacent to the counter to maintain egress for the serving staff). The two gentleman moved on their own to the end of the 3 tables (presumably so that other guests could be accommodated). After a 10 minute wait, another couple came in and were seated at the table next to the counter (while we were still waiting to be seated). I asked my wife if she had been offered the table and had asked to wait for a different table but she responded that she was not offered that table. We waited another 5 minutes to see if the hostess would separate the larger table into a smaller configuration to accommodate us (and perhaps another party) but as easy as that would have been to do, the gesture was never extended. We decided that Javier’s didn’t want our business so we left and went elsewhere. I’ve seen other reviews referencing poor customer service but that had never been our experience in prior visits. This is the first time we’ve been back since COVID so apparently service has declined. With so many choices out there for breakfast and lunch options, there’s no need to patronize businesses that don’t want to serve their guests. We won’t be back.

Don't get me wrong– My husband and I love a nice sugary, sweet breakfast. Javier's is not that! All of the food we tried from the hollandaise sauce to the berry compote on our pancakes tested extremely fresh and homemade. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Good prices, too.

1st time there but heard great reviews from long Island food group, & absolutely did not disappoint, I had the raspberry stuffed french toast with sausage, my friend had eggs scrambled with hash browns & toast, both delicious, can't wait to try the rest of their many flavors!

Stopped in for Lunch yesterday and I am very glad that we found this place. The service was fantastic, our food come out really quick and everything was great. They have a regular menu and a specials board as well. We both ordered the Cuban sandwich off of the special menu and it was delicious. I ordered mine without pickles and fries on the side. I definitely want to go again soon!

Hidden Gem! Nice place to meet up with friends for a good meal. Lots of choices and daily specials. Never even looked at the menu. First special on the board caught my eye and was delicious. Bacon, asparagus, roasted tomatoes and Munster cheese omelette. Yum! Definitely would go again.

Great staff, great food! My favorite for lunch is their chicken salad sandwich. For breakfast the eggs Benedict are great! I absolutely LOVE their home-made iced tea. In the summer the outside seating is really nice. There’s plenty of parking behind the restaurant. And you can enter through the back. This is definitely our favorite breakfast place.

Previously, my family and I enjoyed brunch here, but today, I dropped by for a quick to-go muffin. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter had an extremely uptight attitude. Moreover, I witnessed the cook handling the muffin with both hands while wearing only one glove. Due to these experiences, I’ll be avoiding this place for a while. It’s disappointing to encounter rudeness and disregard for sanitary regulations.

Happened across here and was impressed . Full of locals and a great atmosphere with range of specials and good menu. They were happy to let us have a mixture of breakfast/lunch dishes. Hope to be back

Javier's is expensive, but most people know that coming in. The restaurant is SPOTLESS, including the bathroom. It is family owned and operated and the service is second to none. They have daily specials in addition to their standard menu. We have been here multiple times and everything that we have ever had has been delicious. Cash or debit card only here so be prepared. Park across the street or in the back. The restaurant is small but there are plenty of tables out back on the patio.

Excellent local spot for breakfast or lunch. Been there a few times and the food has always been fresh and delicious. The staff are all extremely friendly. I particularly like the option if eating in the dining area or outback under the tent. Highly recommend swinging by here if you are in the area.

Fun place to get breakfast, so much energy in the place! Good food, great service. Be prepared to wait as they’re often busy.

Today I had baked oatmeal there. It was a weekday so not crowded at all.Street parking as well as ample parking in lot available.Oatmeal was 99 percent similar to the Maureen's probably they have copied the same recipe. They had nice specials for the day on the board.Staff can be better though.Over all good place staff needs to be a little more trained.

Went on father's day with a reservation as they get crowded. They will seat you when entire party is present. Food was really good, service and waitress great on a busy day. Great blackboard specials. Indoor or outdoor dining large variety.

Some of the best pancakes I’ve had!! There were a lot of customization options which I liked. Very fast service and cozy environment. Lots of nice specials on the wall. Really quick and attentive staff as well. Great experience and would recommend for a casual brunch!

Went here for brunch for my sister's birthday. Waitstaff was friendly despite crowded restaurant. Delicious food. Unfortunately, the waitstaff forgot about us for over 15 minutes. Since that was the only issue I won't let it affect the stars but it was worth mentioning.

I took my friend there. She had never been there before. She loved it and again I loved it. The food was excellent. We shared the asparagus omelette and stuffed french toast. The service is wonderful and everyone is friendly and courteous. Don't miss out.🎉🎉🎉

Happy birthday America!!! Today we took the drive to Javier's. To work up an appetite I let my daughter drive. It was either going to make us nauseous or make us thinking God for good food. Hahahha We started off the meal with a corn muffin cooked to perfection and soaked in butter. I love when the muffin comes out and it has grill marks on it. It's my favorite. The boy child had chocolate chip pancakes. They were light and fluffy loaded with chocolate chips and he said delicious. He is a little weird though and doesn't put anything on them. My wife had a skillet which had sausage eggs avocado and colby jack cheese on a bed of their home fries. My daughter had their eggs benedict. And then at the table removed the ham. Their hollandaise sauce tastes fresh and not from a can. Of course I had to sample it because it looks great. I had an omelet off the specials menu. It contained fresh mozzarella asparagus red roasted peppers and a balsamic drizzle. Fact that they give you full cups of coffee and not that little tiny coffee cup. There were people walking around with pots of coffee the entire meal. Everything was great. There were a few members in here that told me to try something but I couldn't remember what it was so I went this way. Now please pray for me as my daughter drives home. Lol

From my understanding the owner used to be the chef at Maureen's kitchen on Terry road. He is taking those same great ideas without as long await. Love the patio area in the back. The staff is pleasant and the food is impeccable.

If possible I would give ZERO stars. Went there today with a large group of friends. Ordered grilled chicken, eggplant, mozzarella on pita. The sandwich was on HALF of a pita cut so it was 2 quarter pieces. The sandwich was less than one half of an inch thick. It was hard to find the ingredients. The PIECES were so very tiny. This cost $15 ???? I will never, ever go back there.!!

The food is delicious! It is a small intimate setting, with regular returning customers as well as new. It is family owned and run and is a very friendly comfortable place to dine.

I have been coming to Javier’s with my husband for years. We are always warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival. The food is always fresh and hot, the place is clean, the staff is friendly. The best part is Javier personally got to know us. He always says Hi. We are honored to support this local business in our hometown. We know it will continue being a staple in Smithtown. Thanks for all the great food and great service!!! We love it!! - Vanessa & Matthew
