Stevns
Klint
is
an
area
in
Denmark,
part
of
the
UNESCO
World
Cultural
and
Natural
Heritage.
The
rocky
shore
is
15
km
long
and
is
rich
in
fossils.
Between
the
rocks
and
the
water
is
a
kind
of
gray
clay,
the
so-called
fish
glue.
Studying
it,
scientists
have
found
evidence
of
the
fall
of
Chiksulub,
a
huge
asteroid
that
struck
the
Earth
near
Mexico
at
the
end
of
the
Mesozoic
era,
66
million
years
ago
and
caused
the
extinction
of
50%
of
life
on
Earth,
including
the
dinosaurs.
After
this
incident,
the
planet
sank
into
complete
darkness
for
two
years.
