This is a wonderful little Italian bistro and deli. The food is very good! The place is always bustling and full of energy. We had some great pizza. The sandwiches looked amazing…we’ll have to come back for them! I grabbed some desserts to go and we loved them! The pasta salad was also delicious! We came back for sandwiches. They were delicious! The muffuletta and eggplant paninis were amply sized and the perfect lunch! Update: we came back and enjoyed dinner as well! The spaghetti and meatballs were good. They were generously sauced, which is good for me, but definitely on the heavy side. The side salad was a nice blend of fresh greens. Food has to be ordered at the counter, but then it is brought to your table.

Excellent place to eat, had the hot Italian beef hot sausage combo, Delicioso! Very reasonably priced and large portions, the use of local ingredients from the East side of Milwaukee was also a plus. Would definitely visit again highly recommended.

The atmosphere and decor were very inviting. Walking in you could smell the pizza right away, it smelled so delicious! We stopped in to get some Cannolis and they were so good! I definitely am going to try the pizza next time!

The restaurant is very quaint and inviting. I love the communal style set-up. The food quality however is a little questionable for the price tag. For example we ordered the spicy penne aka vodka with adding meatballs it comes to $15.95. I am ok with that pricing if the food is fresh and made in house. The pasta was from a box and was over cooked and I believe the meatballs are also bought in and not made on site. The mark up on this dish is insane! The pizza was cooked lovely you can’t beat a brick oven. Even with the best of equipment you still need to season your food. Our pizza had a garlic olive oil and we could not taste it. The toppings were also sparse. Again the mark up is high $26 for a 16inch. I paid that for pizza with imported ingredients down in Atlanta Open to trying the sandwiches as they looked good but would not recommend paying the higher prices based on the quality you receive.

First time trying this place and we will definitely be back! We had a 16" meat specialty pizza, the sausage sub & meatball sub. You can tell the quality is top notch, from the meat to the bread being fresh. Great pizza, best in town in my opinion! We ordered takeout but want to dine in some time soon. The place was packed for a Tuesday night, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and it was a really nice atmosphere. *Parking: I should have looked ahead of time, but I ended up Parking in the Public lot (free) across from the post office. It was just a short walk to the restaurant.

I had the Ruthie Panini one word - Awesome - I will definitely have it again, after I try the other items on the menu. We got there at 12:30 pm it was very busy. But it didn't take that long to get our food. I don't like kettle chips in a bag so next time they can keep them. Lots of choices without over welming you. Go there if you haven't yet.

Best pizza I had in SE WI. Always fresh and dialed in. Their salads and apps are good too. Picture speaks for itself.

I don’t know why it took us so long to try this restaurant! We all tried different lunch items. My husband had the mild sausage sandwich,my daughter had the meatball sandwich and I had a half panini and soup. Our meals were delicious and filling so we had to get some desserts to go!

It's a cafe/ deli. They have a lot of goodies on the shelves as a small grocery store as well for Italian dishes. It is very authentic towards Italian cuisine and they have a brick oven I believe. So the pizzas are amazing. Paninis are great! And their Italian combo is amazing as well. Probably one of the best Italian spots that you can encounter in Wisconsin.

My husband, daughter and I just had a late lunch at this spot. Everything was clean, presentable & inviting. The food was delicious! They even have a nice changing area set up for babies and toddlers, which I appreciated! Definitely recommend checking this spot out!

Delightful experience every time! The whole Bella Gusto crew pours their hearts and souls into the restaurant. Family feel - like atmosphere and everyone is always very welcoming. I constantly bring out of town guests here ❤️

Stopped for dinner last week. Pasta, salad and wine were wonderful, per usual. The waitstaff was attentive. Before we left we also bought a few delicious items to go, including the tiramisu and meatballs. We'll be back soon!

My wife, son, and I ate here for the first time and the food was outstanding. The pizza was delicious, in had a beef sandwich and it was great, my wife had an Italian sub and my son had a huge plate of spaghetti and meatballs. We live about an hour and a half from there and we'll be back soon! I'd recommend this place to everyone who likes Italian food.

Great little Italian restaurant and deli. Everything I've had from here has been delicious. But I keep coming back to the meatball sandwich. It's one of the best I've had in the Milwaukee area. Next time I need to trey the pizza.

This place blew my socks off! One of the best wine selections I’ve seen in Wisconsin. I’ll definitely be sure to return next time I’m in the area. The food was very authentic Italian, which is hard to find. It was delicious!

Very good food. Ordering was a little confusing - Order at the counter, server brings it to your table, but then you can order additional from the server at the table like dessert or drinks.

Some of the best pizza I've had! Friendly employees, relatively quick handmade pizza. Little pricey, but definitely worth it! The restaurant itself is beautiful, its a little small and many times you wont be able to get a table during lunch and dinner, but I think they are expanding the seating so hopefully that changes soon! They sell a lot of unique drinks and desserts and take home food to cook at home. They have a very nice baby changing station in the bathroom, and you really feel a sense of community when you eat there. Definitley a place to eat if you are passing by, very popular with the locals!

We stopped here for lunch when visiting from out of town. They have a nice variety on the menu and pinsas! Lots of great beers and drinks to choose from as well. Order at the counter and they bring everything to you. Great service as well! Wish they had their pastas available for lunch but might be better that they didn't!

We've dined in at Bella Gusto several times over the years since they opened, and have had nothing but great food and service. So when it came to wanting to cater for our mom's 80th birthday party, there was only 1 place to go! From placing the order, to working out 2 different pickup dates for the apps and main dishes, the process was very easy. And the food was absolutely delicious! Still hot after getting it back home, and got raving reviews from everyone. Bella Gusto is our favorite local spot in Oconomowoc!

Looks like a very nice place. I have not had the chance to stop in for food yet. They did however find my cell phone that i dropped on the sidewalk as we went by. Bartender held it for me until we could return to retrieve it. THANK YOU.

Bella Gusto is a pizza paradise! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and I can't stop raving about their pizza. The crust strikes the perfect balance between crispy and tender, and the toppings are fresh and abundant. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff enhance the experience. Bella Gusto is a must-visit for pizza lovers, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Great little authentic space. The food was spot on, good beers (and other drinks) in the cooler and you could get fresh pasta to go to cook at home. We went in for a post work meeting and there was plenty of space for us to get work done and relax. The staff were very nice and helpful as well.

I absolutely love everything about this place! Unfortunately, my husband has to eat gluten - free. I wish there were some options there for him so we could do date night there. GF pizza? Gf noodles? Meat? I know it’d be cross-contaminated, but it would be awesome to have some option. Thanks for considering:)

Meatball Pizza! Amazing Family...This place is worth the drive and a MUST if you're already here. Great wine, local beers, pastas, & pizza (my fav)! Only negative..seating is a limited, so plan ahead or plan to have a glass while you wait & then take it down by the water to enjoy! This SC Guy will be back!

Great food! Meatballs and marinara homemade in house, and some of the most homiest I’ve made. Chicken and Bacon Penne has a great rich sauce made every day fresh! Know all of this because we randomly met one of the owners, after sharing a table with them and they were very nice. Recommend this place! Not your typical deli vibe

I tried Bella Gusto for the first time this past weekend and oh my gosh. I love pizza (who doesn’t?) and this one was fantastic. I’m a “just cheese” kind of person which can make for a fairly bland pizza at certain restaurants. Bella Gusto’s cheese actually has FLAVOR! The crust is amazing too. So, so good. Not to mention the garlic bread is to die for. My guess is everything on the menu is great - I can’t wait to visit again. I’ve made myself hungry just writing this review.
