What a great little gem. The beach was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Remember to pay for parking. I have attached the pay station so who ever forgets to pay can pay online.

Loved it! We visited for the first week in July 2022. The weather was kind and the clear sea was calm and refreshingly cold. The beach and promenade were fantasticly clean and well kept. We hope to return!

Beautiful sunset 🌅 views. We parked by Banks Road where you can easily find disable parking places near the roundabout, just before the bus stop. And we could take amazing pictures on the 1st June from 8:30 to 9pm.. you can sit there and enjoy the views 🤩! The pictures don’t do it justice!

Beautiful beach! No BBQs allowed before 6pm! Parking available on street and car park at £2.20per hour on the Ringo App! Few shops on the beach that shut early! The restaurant on the beach is overpriced! Make sure to carry some water/eatables to avoid disappointment. Toilets are messy and not maintained! Otherwise the beach is very clean and beautiful!

Beautiful beaches. Yes, beaches. You have the sea side beach and the harbour/brownsea island side beach. Just beautiful. It gets very busy on weekends. Especially in the summer! Get there early if you want to guarantee getting parking

A lovely beach that is clean right down to the sand. The toilets are well maintained and there is a nice cafe plus a takeaway shop if you don't feel like cooking. The parking is also convenient with pay-by-app in use here.

Great waves. Walking barefoot on the smoothe sandy beach and water washing over your toes is just the perfect beach to take hole family. Weather was slightly windy and cloudy but warm. Water was nice to swim in. Not a lot of people on this side, less busier than Bournemouth. Maybe due to weather. Plenty parking nearby. Shops selling necessary items but really expensive so come prepared and cafes also within walking distance. Showers to wash off on the beach. Overall a really nice and beautiful beach.

What a truly beautiful sandy beach. Clean. Clear, shallow water, warm enough to swim. Great for kids. Lots of shells to collect. We loved it! We sat right next to sea. Great toilets, cafe/bar/drinks and snacks. Parking £14 for 4 hours, can extend. About £20 for 6 hours. We were lucky as quite quiet, imagine parking could be nightmare on busy day!

In the local area this is by far the best water and best sand. It’s a bit separate from the town so it’s best for a day on the beach rather than a couple of hours. There is a drinking water filling station, dog washing station and plenty of toilets. Only limited food and ice cream shops compared to the size of beach. Car park is the same as others in the area, cash only or RingGo. Overall my favorite beach.

So far the best beach in England. A lot of on street and off street parking, cafe and public toilets. But the best is clean sandy beach without any seaweed and rocks. Love it. ❤️❤️❤️

Our goto spot for an evening swim. During the week after work I take the kids her around 7pm for an evening swim. There is not much going on at that time at least while there are not holidays. The beach is wide and lovely. There some volleyball nets to have a game. Parking cost you £2.30/h. The sea has hardly any stones in it. We love it.

One of the most enchanting aspects of Sandbanks, UK, is the incredible sunrises and sunsets that paint the sky with breathtaking colors. Witnessing the morning sun rise over the serene horizon, casting a golden glow over the tranquil waters, is truly a magical experience. It's as if the world awakens with a burst of warmth and beauty. As evening approaches, the sunsets at Sandbanks are equally spectacular. The sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant hues, with shades of orange, pink, and purple, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for the fading day. The sight of the sun sinking into the sea, casting a shimmering reflection on the water, is a moment of pure tranquility and wonder. These remarkable sunrises and sunsets add an extra layer of allure to the already captivating charm of Sandbanks, making it an unforgettable destination for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Visited this beach many times & is our favourite. Love that you can BBQ in the evening before our drive back. Areas of the back designated for dog owners, which is a nice touch all year round. Car Park nearby, toilets and cafe’s. Pool harbour wall a stones throw away is Ideal for crabbing. Great family day out.

Fabulous beach, beautiful to look at and great facilities. Car park next to beach entrance and separate beach for dogs, even a dog wash in the car park. Everything lovely and clean.

As long as you can get there, it is very long seashore, all sand and nice, I love it! There are many toilets on the way, but I should say there were not many shops even small cafes after you left the beginning of Sandbanks beach. So I recommend to bring something to eat or drink if you are planning to go far from the ferry port area. There is a tesco in the middle if you walk away from the beach, not sure how far that is but not quite convenient if you are near the sea and covered by the sand.

Nice clean beach generally, however, dog owners need to take ownership of picking up after their dogs! Too much talking or looking at their phones, not paying attention to what their dog is up to! And picking up the poo but then leaving it on the beach in a bag is NOT good enough! As usual, some will spoil it for the rest of us dog owners! Luckily there's a beach cleansing team, but it shouldn't be up to them to deal with it! Rant over!

Visited for a few hours with the family. Lovely beach with lifeguards in attendance. The sands and clear waters definitely makes us want to return. It was a Monday, so not many people around. I would imagine it gets really busy at the weekend and in the height of the Summer. Parking is quite expensive!

Nice place to visit in the summer.. car park right next to this place so very convenient!!.. there is an ice cream shop and a cafe next to the beach.. the beach itself isn't very big but ideal for day outs and for a swim!!.. I did not find any pubs next to this beach so one to note... Do take your own alcohol if you wish to drink!!

Fantastic beach with regular ferries to Bournemouth. Restaurant close by on the main road but haven't used it. Only issue is the toilets are disgusting! Don't go in bare footed or in flip-flops. Small carpark close to main entrance but you can park on the main road for as long as you want.

A beautiful beach away from the hustle and bustle of the main towns. On one side you have a long sandy beach and on the other you have the mariner. The beach is dog friendly and the car park has a dog washing station! Parking is plentiful but on major holidays I expect it will be busy, plan ahead for entertainment and food as there are only a handful of stores nearby. I recommend this for a nice day out!

A quick visit at the end of the day. Beach and sea very clean but water temperature was a bit cool . Parking was no problem and there were a number of kiosk's selling snacks and ice creams. We always enjoy visiting sandbanks and it's good to see it hasn't changed.

A beautiful sandy beach. There was plenty of room when we visited but I would imagine in the height of the season it would get very busy. It's just a shame that some people spoiled the visit by playing their boom boxes so loud. Not everybody wants to listen to weird music that they like. I don't mind them playing it for their pleasure but why so loud?? Apart from that a lovely day was had by all and we will certainly visit again.

Perfect beach with flawless sand. It's amazing on a hot day for sunbathing and a quick splash in the water and on a colder day for a calm walk along the shore. Only downsides are the Limited parking spaces and lack of choices on food and drinks. One of the top uk beaches if not the best.

Such a lovely sandy beach. Packed in places but take a short walk up or down the beach and you'll find some space for the family. Even the dogs are allowed on the beach in certain areas. We'll done to all those that look after the beach for the public and to those that keep us safe in the water.

Great sandy beach. On a sunny weekend one should visit as early as possible or the car park gets full very quickly. Stretch of the beach is very long and you may find may entrances to it. Beach is very clean, water is transparent and clean, it’s fun to be in the water or just on the beach doing your favourite leisure activity. We had food from Jazz Cafe which was not bad. There are good toilet and shower facilities. There is one more shop who sells wetsuit, sea toys and rents Sup. Overall a great experience.

Soft sand, clean clean crystal clear water! I felt like I was in the Phillipines (when it was sunny of course). The beach was very clean and relaxed and there are life guards 👍which is very important for me since I went there with my son. The ladies toilets smelled of urine... and the parking is a bit expensive

Fantastic location to catch the sunset, perfect beach for kids and families as the water is shallow. Plenty of amenities like a sauna, garbage disposal and a few viewpoints for your IG posts. You have to get here early since parking can be a nightmare on busy weekends post 9-10am.

Fantastic place to visit for the whole family, beautiful beaches and coast line has beach volleyball ice-cream shop beach cafe and public toilets and showers along the promenade. Also by the car park is 18 hole crazy golf course too ! Would highly recommend for a relaxing day out.

What a beautiful beach and in early October very quiet. Different from the Bournemouth beaches as the path doesn't run as far and so the rest of the way is through the sands. Nice cafe on the beach but 3 pounds a cup of coffee. Smaller beaches hemmed in by rocks make it more secluded. Lots of rocks to sit on that jut into the sea. Posh flats and houses behind you for the odd envious glance. Basically loved it.

Amazing soft Sandy beach. Very clean with all facilities that needed. Food, drinks, ice cream,…. . Also there was a shower however it was too cold but good for a bit tidying up. Car park was so close and we paid by app , so it was easy to extend time. There was a lot of room in front of the beach that you can have them from morning till dark for£40 with no need to book in advance.

Took the dog down to Sandbanks beach for a walk, the weather was fantastic beautiful sunny day 😎 it was cold but it didn't spoil the day. Clear blue sky and a lovely beach to walk on, brilliant.

Lovely clean beach. Good facilities: toilets, outdoor shower for washing feet, deck chairs for hire. The cafe was busy and sold hot and cold drinks, ice cream and limited food, disappointed that there’s was no gluten free offer. But there was vegan. There were life guards on duty and doing a great job of looking after any swimmers. There were quite a few in the water when we went. The dog friendly beach was next to the public beach.

Nice beach. Good parking. Sand is very soft and was absolutely stunning weather when we visited. Can do bbq after 6pm. Wasn’t very busy so had nice calm smooth time

Found this pub by chance as another pub had no chef. Went inside and pub was very quiet, asked if they served food and they did. So we were shown to our tables given some very fancy menus and ordered our drinks. The menu was limited but enough options for most. We had the lasagna and Chicken and mushroom pie. The meals took a while to be served as all food was cooked to order, but it was well worth the wait. The food was amazing, we both loves every mouthful.

What a lovely beach, the carpark is quite busy, but the beach isn't overcrowded like the close by Bournemouth beach. Nice and clean with easy to access amenities. It's a sandy beach with man made rocky breakers which create lovely little rock pools the kids love playing with lots of shrimp and fish to catch. The sea around this beach is lovely and clear too! Also loads of water sports on the other side, yes the beach is double sided!

We took a drive to check on how my nephew was coping up with being a young independent adult/new student. We then decided to take a walk around the beach. I thought the water would be cold at this time of the year but after an experimental deep with my toe, i enjoyed a refreshing barefoot around. It is a clean lovely beach.

Lovely sandy beach in Poole. Clean toilets and showers. There is a dog bath area too. Had an amazing time with family. Cafés available with a variety of food items. The Parking area is very close to the entrance (paid roughly £9.00 for 3hours). I went on a Wednesday during summer, it was a bit crowded but easy to find a spot to sit.

Very beautiful and fantastic beach with all attractions. But parking facelity is very poor, and very hard to get parking even on weekdays.

Fabulous dog friendly beach, sand white and glorious. Henry had a lovely time chasing his ball, Sussie just chilled out. Cafe on the beach not so friendly, no vegan friendly cakes or sandwiches. Very disappointing, they need to get their act together.

Must visit beach in south. Great place to play in water and sand. Lot of water activities available Paid parking available next to the beach. Also lot of options for paid street parking

  • 4/5 Keisha Des V. 9 months ago on Google
I love Sandbanks and been coming here for many years. The water and sand is beautiful! But! Visitors need to be more diligent in carrying their rubbish away with them instead of polluting the shores and water....from crisp packets, dog balls, Frisbees..even saw a sanitary napkin floating in the water! KEEP THE BEACH CLEAN! BRING A GARBAGE BAG WITH YOU TO TAKE ALL YOUR WASTE TO A BIN!

Amazing place. One of the best and cleanest beaches on the south coast. Very save and family friendly

  • 5/5 Kalpesh A. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely beauty of a beach. The best UK beach I have been to so far, which is an actual beach with sand and not rocks. I would advice getting there early to find parking. Toilets facilities available. A restaurant cafe and a small snacks place there too. Water sports and beach equipment for hire. Felt like I was somewhere in Europe.

This is one of my favourite sand beaches in the south of England. Soft, white sand and clear water. you can rent the boat here to enjoy a good sunny day. it is also a good place to have a long walk to explore the natural beauty from one end to other end. I would highly recommend this beach . Parking: It has a huge and easy paid parking but gets full very fast so plan accordingly. Near by seafront parking. Toilets: toilets and showers are nearby the beach with dog washing facilities.
