The Poole key is fantastic for people on holiday and the locals, with great views and fantastic boat trips available what is not to like. Lined with pubs down the front you can even grab a nice drink. Would highly recommend if you need a good day out

Very lucky with the weather when we were there.Sunny but sometimes windy.3 hours free parking available. No trouble at all for wheelchair use on the Quay. Cafes, shops the same. Plenty of benches to sit on and watch the harbour activity. A nice spot to stay for a few hours.

One of the top places I always enjoy visiting with either family or friends. It's very tranquil with many choices to choose from for light food and drinks, and an arcade and bars for entertainment. It's also a nice place to view the sunset and have a peaceful sit down by the sea while having fish n chips, ice cream or hot coffee. There are a number of pubs as well to choose from. You can also have a nice ferry trip to Brownsea island. Highly recommended.

Beautiful & very peaceful. Lovely boat trips to be had & lots of waterfront places for food & drinks. You can see the super posh yachts being built & dream

Beautiful place with lots of shops, cafés and things to do or see. The hop on hop off bus goes here to and from Bournemouth, plus there are otjere travel options. There was one Italian cafe and the cakes there were phenomenal! Nor my wife or I could believe what we were eating! The coffee was fantastic too. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name.

Nice place to wander around and admire the amazing selection of boats in the water. Quite a few shops and a couple of pubs within a few minutes walk.

Last time I came to Pool Quay was around thirty years ago, for me it's not so nice this time . Like a lot of places nowadays it's looking run down some new building work but that's in-between a lot of run down buildings. The main reason was a pre arranged boat and steam train experience which was very enjoyable. Whilst on the boat ride experience we saw the Jurassic rock formation which is now a world heritage site

Jurassic coast cruise today at 10:30am took us to Swanage. Some people got off to spend the day there. We enjoyed seeing Brownsea Island and Sandbanks

Parked in the baiter car park and had a lovely walk along the promenade all the way to the bridge. Then done some shopping through town and back, fish and chips overlooking the water then a stroll back to the car everyone happy including the dog, shame about the weather can't win them all...

Went for NYD Bath Race, great morning, very busy, and the race itself was funny as previous years. Great view of yachts and the Xmas decorations were a added bonus.

Poole Quay. Lovely. But there are hight restrictions on the car parks so expect a long walk if you have a high top and your able. All modern eating places. Not the old port and fishing town that I remember.

Lovely crawl along the Quay in the sunshine. Not too busy but service at The Nelson was dire with queues at the bar. Portsmouth Ho was much better.

Bike night at Poole Quay has gone up to £3.00 per bike now, there are a lot of other options available with better quality food too.

An amazing place to be, Spent a family day out on sunny Sunday afternoon, enjoying the mini steam train show as well as had a wonderful time on City Cruise along the Jurassic Coast with a lovely view.

Can sometimes be a bit hit and miss. We generally visit during the hotter months and it's always bustling. Tuesdays' during the summer are 'bike night' and the Quay front gets closed off to all traffic other than bikers who pay £3 to ride in and park up along the Quay. There are usually hundreds of bikes there at a time throughout the evening. Can be a bit tricky to get a table for food but I can only say to persevere (we did and got a table at Oriel on the Quay) - great food with a view of the Quay on one side and the bikes on the other!

Always an interesting place to visit. Tonight (Tuesday) is Bike Nite and there are many amazing machines to see, from vintage, to the newest super bikes and everything in between! Great atmosphere as usual!

What a lovely place to visit when in the area. So many boats to look at, especially the fast ones, and many cruise companies happy to to take you out to the islands or Swanage, on a good day! There are plenty of cafés, chip shops, pubs and restaurants to make your afternoon a very happy one. Parking nearby

Pontoon is substantial but not protected from any southern wind. Very basic facilities on site. Showers are across the road - at least access is via keycode. Site is handy for quayside pubs. Book a table with your choice of eatery if planning a meal on a Friday or Saturday.

Normally Poole Quay is OK. Busy but still space, Last night, however, for some reason, it all came together and was just lovely. The weather was superb, the moon was out, the sunset was amazing, the fish and chips on the Quay were lovely too. Worth a visit especially on Tuesday evenings.

Ive grown up round Poole but never really explored it, like a tourist so I decided to take a look about. Very busy and nice to see it's still a popular place for adults, kids and just about everyone. It's a shame many places closedto make way for new housing developments as there is so much history in Poole. Some lovely buildings, old school amusements, pubs, live music, theme nights, bike nights are just some of the many attractions on Poole quay. Friendly and lively and family's welcome, there's something for everyone or just enjoy a stroll while eating some of the best fish and chips you can get, whilst looking at some all the boats. Great fun for all!
