The only stadium in Obuasi. Outside of the stadium is the awesome black park. The park is levelled with a greyish material which makes the park black hence the name black park. This stadium serves home venue for Ashanti Goldfields club.

That place is very cool and attractive

First visit. I was expecting a bigger crowd given the profile of this game. Not a bad experience for a first game

The pitch is very good and greeny but some of the VIP seats are not properly bolted. There is poor maintenance culture of the facility. Weeds grown around eternal perimeters.

Lenclay sports stadium still in it's old-fashioned shape where people have to sit on a concrete floors to watch a football match without roof over your head to prevent you from the sun so you either have an umbrella or cap on with only visit seats covered with roofing. Such a bad situation for human fun. Sports must be fun not punishment. This photo was shot at the 'Blackpark' a place mostly designated for funerals activities or any other ceremonies. Is 'blackpark' because the mining company then used to dump black residual from the rocks mined. The stones/rocks are black and have contrubite to the blackened of its environment.. you could see houses up on the hills where people have built their homes.

The stadium we know of 90s I'd not that of today currently alot of containers bars with dirty all over even the trees there uncare for me 1 rate star even is a lucky
