FRAUD -The photos of the rooms on the website do not correspond to the real situation in which the rooms are. -When I booked I was told that they only had a premium room (the most expensive) but that in exchange they offered me a free gym. It was a lie, the gym had to be paid separately. In addition many times they offer you services such as kitchen and individual toilet. It is also a lie, no room has an individual kitchen and most have a shared toilet. -Before booking, they tell you that the dormitory offers many services such as hairdressing, café, laundry ... Actually, the dormitory does not have any of these services except for the laundry that is paid. -If you only book for a semester they always offer you the worst rooms at the price of the most expensive room. -The kitchen is always dirty. -There is a lot of noise in the rooms. -The reception ignores you when you tell them about a problem. -The views are nice if your room is on the side overlooking the Faculty of Law. If you get a room on the opposite side, you only see a cemetery that is scary at night. -There are only 3 elevators in the whole building and in busy times you have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for the elevator to arrive. -The building is very old, not at all how it is shown in the photos -You have absolutely nothing in the room (no cutlery, no towels, no pots, no pans ...) You have to buy everything. -Heating never works. -The WIFI is very bad and sometimes it doesn't even work. -The bed is not a bed as such, but is a mattress on top of a piece of furniture. -If you have any problem, however small it may be and even if it is not your fault, the deposit will not be returned. -The price is very expensive. For 2 or 3 times less you find much better places. The situation during the Coronavirus was regrettable. They locked us up for 2 weeks without being able to go outside, without food or anything to eat. The only solution they gave us was to pay for a catering that was worth around 50 PLN a day (price 4 or 5 times higher than the real value of the food). They only gave us 2 meals a day and they were very bad, but you had to pay if you didn't want to starve. Also, to the people who returned to their countries, in addition to not returning the deposit, they wanted to make them pay every month without being in the dormitory. A couple of days before the Coronavirus occurred, they made an offer consisting of paying the gym for 3 months in exchange for a discount. Within a few days due to the Coronavirus, they closed the gym and the people who paid lost their money. They tried to obtain economic benefit from a situation as complicated as the Coronavirus, which violates the declaration of human rights and is completely illegal. Here I post some pictures of the actual state of the dormitory.

The place that everyone talks bad about is an expensive place where you will be worried all day long because the lifts, washing machines, and kitchens don't work properly. Every day they change the rules, sometimes they even make them up for their own benefit. The pictures on the internet are not real as they are usually not clean and are often missing things like lights or light bulbs, pillow, sheets... On the other hand the gym is not properly prepared and the wifi does not work sometimes.

Relatively new place with great views and nice furniture in common areas. The dorm rooms themselves are quite small though.

We have been leasing office space (about 350 square meters) in the building for almost a year. The cooperation with the owner is very good. We can count on technical support in case of typical issues. The contact with the managers is very good. It is good to be here!

I really don't recommend living here in 2024-2025. You will live right next to the construction site and wake up every day at 6 am due to the noise. This is simply not humane treatment of tenants. Especially for the money we pay. Constant noise and dust, which makes it impossible to open the window and ventilate the room (and the ventilation in the dormitory is in a terrible condition, there is no room to breathe). On days when studying doesn't start at 8 a.m. and you want to rest a little, the noise begins, and even noise-cancelling headphones can't save you from that. And pay PLN 2,100 a month for it?

Nothing but a great experience so far! They are very easy going and comprehensive, they understand that a foreigner can deal with a lot of bureaucratic issues, and they were ready to help. The room is very nice and well furnished. And the security is great as well. They try to make us feel at home by organising some events, like movies and game nights. one always feel welcomed. The experience continues 🤩

I strongly do not recommend moving here in 2024-2025. Another dormitory will be built right 50 meters from your window. And for a fairly high price, you are guaranteed to receive a daily wake-up call at 6:30 a.m. from the builders, and fragrant dense dust delivered directly to your room. If you want to save your health and nerves, choose another place to live.

In short, I would not advise anyone, everything is completely different from what they say, the prices are completely unjustified in these realities, it is much better to rent a room or even a cavalier for that kind of money, silverfish live in the toilets in some rooms, I also saw them in the bicycle parking lot, popular the problem is the Spaniards who make noise, don’t clean up and don’t say anything to them, and since the soundproofing in the hostel is small, everything is clearly audible, every day you hear 100 times how someone closes the door, the kitchen is only open until 23 and this is a huge minus, parking for bikes until 22, sometimes the Internet and electricity are turned off, the rooms are quite hot, also if you are not always lucky with a neighbor, and paying to live alone is simply pointless, it’s much better, as I said, to rent an apartment, laundry is also paid to wash your clothes normally, you have to pay 5 zlotys, which is just as expensive, it doesn’t justify its money in any way, it’s also specially bought in the rooms cheap items that break easily so as not to give you cautery (pretty thought out), there are much more minuses than pluses, wifi is slow in the evening, also there is a fungus in every toilet, there isn’t even one in the gym to work out with simulators) some treadmills, elevators can really wait about 10 minutes, there were moments that the hostel decided to save money and one or two elevators worked for a couple of months, such an attitude, in general, their money is not worth it, especially since they want to raise the payment, which is already exorbitant pros only close to university and great service, the rest is the worst...

It's not a bad place, because you pay for room, but you don't have to for electricity of wifi. It's also situated in a very good place, really. You can go anywhere by 🚌 or trolley 🚋 And even when everything doesn't work, you can go to administration and tells them, they'll fix it. What about rooms, they are big enough ( triple room) , comfortable and nice. But the prices are high enough, the cheapest room costs 545 zlotys. In my opinion, it's worth it 😊

Not the best hostel but close to UAM. Very accessible to public transport. Nice locality. There are no restaurants and stores immediately close but the building has a convenience store and small cafe. Expensive. Has its own gym but you need to buy a membership.

Great place. Totally worth to live here. Absolutely recommend. Have wonderful view from the window. I have room on the 12th floor. It is like to live in the penthouse)). This place have good gym. If you are planning to live and study in Poznan, than chose this place. Together with a room you will get places for chill & work. Also you will be surrounded by people from all over the world. Great staff will help you with any question you may need. Also you will be protected by security team

The dorm itself is not bad. Good renovation of the rooms and pleasant service. But this year they started building a new dorm right opposite this one. Construction workers work 6/7 from 6:30. If you are not an early bird and want to get enough sleep, then you will have 1 day a week to do this. There are also layers of construction dust settling in the room, which I am now breathing. That's very pleasant, thanks. It's up to you to decide, but I'm looking forward to leaving here as soon as possible.

Would not recommend moving here, at least for the next few years. If you are unlucky and live on the sunny side of the dorm, every morning (except weekends) you will have to wake up to VERY loud construction as a new dorm is being built. A lot of dust, noise that can be heard even through a closed window. Noisy Spaniards who filled the entire kitchen, despite the fact that only 2 out of 10 cook, the others just sit and talk loudly, taking up an unrealistic amount of space for such a small kitchen. Paid washing and drying, VERY bad internet in the evening, which does not correspond to the cost of accommodation. It has its advantages, but these disadvantages completely cover them and prevent comfortable living (especially comfortable sleeping)

The kitchen's limited hours and early closure of certain facilities demonstrate a lack of consideration for residents. Internet disruptions are not uncommon, and the speeds, especially in the evenings, are frustratingly slow. The rooms tend to become uncomfortably warm, and the luck of having a disruptive neighbor is an unfortunate but common experience. Paying extra for a solitary living arrangement is impractical when renting an apartment offers better value. Laundry services are not only overpriced but also an additional burden. The intentional provision of cheap and easily breakable items in rooms indicates a calculated effort to avoid compensating residents. The drawbacks, including the sluggish evening internet, fungus-ridden toilets, and the absence of a proper gym facility, overshadow any potential benefits. The hostel's apparent cost-cutting measures, coupled with anticipated payment increases, suggest a prioritization of profit over service quality. Despite its proximity to the university and a semblance of decent customer service, the overall living experience is marred by significant issues. The negatives, particularly the disruptive behavior of Spanish residents, cast a shadow over any positive aspects.

I had two contracts for two semesters with this private dormitory. Since the beginning, the paper work and checking of the documents were really nice and smooth. Their customer service, I think, is the place they shine the best. Sadly, my visa got rejected and I couldn't go there to use the rooms I had rented. But they refunded the bulk of the sum of the money (service fee and tax was non-refundable), and it did not take too long at all. So, as far as I am concerned, my experience was limited to contacting them and some red-tape stuff. Through these period they were professional, polite and friendly; things that we rarely see in digital encounters. These stars should be considered for this matter only.
