(Translated by Google) Interesting place to visit, outside is a small square, which, according to what they say, is traditional for couples to visit this place as lovers, there is a craft market a few meters away. It does not have public health services. A good option to enjoy the landscape of Sucre, the viewpoint is quite wide, but there are no additional activities that can be done in the area.

Amazing museum and heritage. You have the opportunity to view several pictures from the rooms where visitors are not allowed. Library and living room of the senior priest. Fantastic place. A very positive and peaceful aura. There are many different objects to see - paintings, jewelry and other valuables. Colossally several courtyards. With an old tree and belief - if you go around the tree three times counterclockwise, then choose a wish and it will come true. If you go with someone in a clockwise direction, you will marry someone with whom you go.

you pay and than you run :)) my experience: i waited 30 minutes for the guide to finish another tour and our tour was 40 minutes! we were at least 10 people and the guide was asking "is everyone here?" and she start talking, even tho we weren't there. a guy from the tour asked the girl to go a little bit slower but she answered very fussy. basically you have to listen what the guide is saying and move on very fast - you don't have time to read other things! listen and move on :) *i have to say that we started 4 people and than on our way we waited for others cuz she was going back to take them from the main gate and explain everything in the way :) so basically was a 30 minutes tour **price tickets: 15bs residence, 20bs foreign

It was closed the day I went for the sunset. It has beautiful views over the city of Sucre and the sunset hour is particularly mesmerizing. It takes a 20min walk from the center. Take your time to wander the busy streets. When you get here the vibe totally changes becoming chilled and contemplative.

(Translated by Google) La Recoleta was built by the Franciscan fathers in 1601 on the slopes of Cerro Churuquella. The Museum, a group of buildings and architectural works that make up this site, offers in its rooms paintings, sculptures, religious works and a numismatic collection of the Colony and the Republic. On the tour of the Museum, you can see the garden, which was initially a grove of gigantic cedar trees, which after being cut down, were used for the carving of beautiful altarpieces such as the choir stalls, worked by Juan Pérez de Villarreal (17th century). Today, the gigantic thousand-year-old cedar remains, as the only witness to the orchard that boasted fruit trees and eucalyptus. La Recoleta also has a viewpoint located in front of the Museum, which shows an unparalleled view of the entire city. Next to the Mirador is the fountain, called "La Peregrina", made by Martin de Oviedo in 1630, the sundial, the water box, and the square where the city was founded. LOCATION: Plaza Pedro Anzúrez, between Puente Topater and Polanco VISITING TIMES: Museum: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 11:30; 14:30 to 16:30; Saturdays from 15:00 to 17:00 (Original) La Recoleta fue construida por los padres franciscanos en el año 1601 sobre las faldas del Cerro Churuquella.

Nice mirador walking distance from the central park. The church next to the mirador.

Pleasant guided tour to see a mass, the patio and the old tree. On the other hand, we preferred the guided tours of the church and the cathedral below.
