I highly recommend the hotel and the most exciting person is Raul. He provides an excellent service to customers, I felt his passion and his motivation entirely. Very patient and provides a lot of recommendations during your stay. Also I appreciated very much the organisation of the transport and the very on time service. Hotel facilities are good, outstanding is the terrace with a marvelous view to the city and the lovely garden/flowers, very charming atmosphere! Looking forward to see you again!

Great colonial mansion turned hotel. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard. The rooms are old but clean and well appointed. Each room has a heater and a private bathroom with hot water. From the terrace there are great views of Sucre. The breakfast includes eggs, fruits, pastries, juices and coffee or tea. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is only two blocks away from the main square and all the sweet things that come with it. Hotel de su Merced is a great place to stay in Sucre, Bolivia.

Nice hotel. Simple and clean. As to what I am told one of the best sure has to offer. Their breakfast was small but nice. Rooms are open and cozy. The centre mini square is beautiful

Best place to stay if you visit historical city of Sucre ( beautiful city) great breakfast, comfortable rooms, friendly people all the time.., make reservations ahead of time, they will make arrangements to pick you up from the airport to the hotel.

Quite a beautiful hotel, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Hot water is always available, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is quite great. We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended!

After some thought I have decided to give this establishment only two stars. The location is excellent and the rooms nice although seeming a little aged and in need of a revamp. The breakfast each morning was most uninspired. The reason for the poor rating is twofold: I gave my laundry to be done and my one shirt and some socks which were all originally white returned light blue. When I spoke to the manager about it she was so unphased it was annoying. For a place this expensive one would expect a more responsive customer service. The second reason is that I was inquiring about the train to Potosi. The same manager phoned a landline that no longer existed and that was the end of that. She didn't try phoning the station again or arranging an alternative way to find out if the train was still in operation. The answer was simply no and it was implied that I was to sort it out myself further. These might seem like small things but look at what you're paying for a room per night.
