Such a beautiful city, Sucre! The downtown area with its colonial style, well preserved buildings and white washed walls has at the same time a lively and relaxed vibe. It mingles indigenous and countryside people with city folks in a vibrant way. Immerse yourself with locals at the main square - Plaza 25 de Mayo and eating at the central market - mercado central. Check the Eiffel Tower (designed by Eiffel! Is it is true) in Bolivar park and enjoy the sunset from Recoleta viewpoint.Observe the Spanish style monuments brought to life by the local traditions. We love this city!

If Sucre doesn't deserve a 5-star rating, then what city does? OK, it would even be better if the historical center were completely-free of cars, buses and motorcycles and the electrical wires would be underground. But most of the Unesco World Heritage site is just amazing.

Beautiful area, used to be even more beautiful but now polluted and dirty. Still a nice area to visit surrounded by old buildings and churches.

👍👍 A nice place to visit. You can walk freely through most of the castle and it's gardens or use a guide. We had a very good Bolivian English speaking guide with a lot of kowleadge on the history of Bolivia and the castle (and it's family). The guide comes complementary with the tickets (20 Bolivianos...

The only down fall was that you couldn’t take photos, this is sad for the museum as tourists who visit cannot show others and encourage then to go or to spread publicity about the fantastic...

👍 Florida as it is known to the palace of the former president of Bolivia Don Aniceto Arce Ruiz translates as a place of many colors. It was built by the famous architect Antonio Camponovo towards the end of the 19th century. The former residence of Arceña Arceña Family is decorated inside with a ser...

😠 This is NOT the ASUR Museum of Indigenous Art. The institution located on San Alberto is the CETUR Community Tourism Center. Go to the Recoleta to visit the original ASUR Museum of Indigenous Art and textile museum founded in 1990 for a much better experience. ASUR Indigenous Art Museum 314 Pasaje...
