Great experience for picking out the perfect ring for our engagement.

We went to a couple places before we landed in midtown jewelers for my engagement ring, and I'm glad we did! We started off with Vicky and she had been so patient with us; about 3 months patient with me! I am a very indecisive person in general so even when I thought I had a design in mind, I saw other designs and would want to change it up. We tried all types of rings as well as different stones, but I really liked two Sylvie rings and they let me know that i was able to custom make it through Sylvie. So I combined the top view of one ring with the gallery of another ring, and Lynn had helped me create several CADs before I landed on the perfect one, which is my ring now. My fiance and I had both gone in to chose the ring but i didn't see the finished product until the day of the proposal, and I was absolutely in love with it. I get SEVERAL compliments on my beautiful Sylvie ring. It will forever be my favorite piece of jewelry I own, and I owe it to Midtown Jewelers!

I had a glass cabochon made with some of my mom's cremains after she passed away last year and wanted to create a ring that combined the cabochon with the rubies and diamonds from her engagement ring. I had been to 3 different jewelers and wasn't happy with the designs they offered or their understanding of what I was wanting. Vijay took the time to listen to what I wanted, reached out to his colleagues in the jewelry industry for additional ideas, and put together some designs for me to choose from in my price range. He worked with me to tailor the designs and advised me on how different options would fit and look on my finger. Great customer service and highly customizable engagement rings! I worked with Alison in order to pick out a ring out for my girlfriend (now fiance). After many times of sneaking out of the house (didn't want to ruin the surprise), emailing back and forth with Alison, I asked her lots of questions, and she walked me through recommended cut, color, clarity for the diamonds in my budget as well as the different types of metals and designs for the ring. I was communicating with other jewelers at the time to help me decide because my girlfriend was very slow at dropping hints of the sorts of rings that she liked. We've been dating for about ten years, so she knew it would be soon when I would pop the question. Out of all the jewelers I've visited, Midtown Jewelers was the most helpful and involved in showing me how to decide on a ring, so I selected them. I verbally described the sort of ring I imagined my girlfriend wanted, and Alison showed me previews of how the ring would look through the software. With each new hint, I requested further changes (gold instead of platinum, remove side stones, change width of shank, etc). After I decided on the ring size and shape, it came time to decide on the diamond, and she brought three diamonds of my desired carat and budget to see the difference of the rings under the light. After two months of communication, I finally got the ring, proposed to my fiance in Atlanta, and she said yes! I had to guess a bit on the sizing, so the ring turned out to be a bit too small, but Midtown Jeweler's allows for one free resizing. When my fiance came back, Midtown Jeweler's also provided her with a gift set that also included a book "The Knot Book of Wedding Lists." Great place. Would highly recommend! We are currently using the book for planning our wedding.

I've taken multiple pieces here for repair and cleaning and I'm always impressed at how fast their service is. Prices are also very reasonable and of course they do an amazing job. Most recently, I took in several rings for cleaning and repair, including an old heirloom ring: Lynn suggested I get that ring's main diamond re-tipped as its prongs were worn very thin (I hadn't noticed but it was very obvious once I looked more closely). I just picked it up today, cleaned and repaired, and it looks so good. I wish I'd done before and after photos because there's a huge difference and it looks so much brighter now. I've also worked with Vijay in the past on repairing an opal ring of mine and I've been similarly impressed: I am aware that opal is a challenging stone to work with, and Vijay did an excellent job walking me through some special considerations for securing the opal. I got those repairs done and my ring looks better than ever! Overall, the staff here are very good at their jobs and their customer service is absolutely top-notch. I would highly recommend Midtown to anyone needing jewelry repair.

If you ever need your timepiece serviced look no further than Midtown Jewelers. I had my Breitling Colt fully overhauled by them due to an old seal letting water in. I first met Bobby three years ago when my brother decided he wanted to propose to his now wife. A coworker of mine had recently purchased an engagement ring from Bobby.
