Delicious lattes and egg sandwiches! The owner is incredibly nice and really cares about the customer experience. Must go!!

Ok, previously I had professed Ceremony Coffee near the metro stop to be my #1 pick for downtown Bethesda but Clove and Cedar might have their number. Straight espresso shot, and flat white were both smooth and delicious. Wife had soy latte and gave it two thumbs up. Service was very good here and the staff were a lot of fun. We'll definitely be back.

My daughter and I walked into this family run coffeebar on a weekend and were blown away by the customer experience. The place was very inviting, warm, and had a great ambiance. The owner took time to chat and check in a couple of times while being busy with a steady stream of customers. The drinks were prepared really well. They have quite a few options from pastries and breakfast items to healthy snacks and salads. As some one, who often works from home, I tend to frequent local shops and prefer small/family owned business. It was so refreshing to see a family owned business being run with so much passion and dedication towards the customer! Ditch the chain coffee stores some time and give Clove & Cedar a try. While Bethesda coffee business seems to be at a saturation point, I feel Clove & Cedar has a very unique model of operation with its focus on customers and quality of drinks! Bethesda needs more small and family owned businesses like Clove & Cedar.

They just reopened yesterday, lucky for me. Really exceptional coffee and super lovely people.Their space inside looks so warm and inviting as well and I very much look forward to camping out here in the future. If you are in the area and want a coffee fix, give these guys love because they deserve it.

Great new cafe! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Love that they have oat milk. Cappuccino was amazing, so was the chocolate croissant! Good amount of seating too. Will definitely be back.

Clove and Cedar has been hands down my my favorite coffee shop since coming to the DMV area. From the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff to the delicious coffee and pastries, Clove never disappoints. I am heartbroken to hear Clove is shutting down, but hopeful to see a resurgence of the shop at another point down the line. Clove and Cedar has been such a staple in the Bethesda community and all of their staff deserves amazing accolades-- from Abhi to Anna to Reese to Helen to Wes, they make amazing coffee and an even more amazing atmosphere. A piece of Bethesda will be missed!!!

One of the best tasting and smoothest lattes I've ever had. Staff is super friendly and informative when you have questions. I'll be a daily regular! Bye Bye, Starbucks!
