Great historical place to visit. Some renovation works are going on presently. Nostalgic heritage site of Sindh. This place is worth seeing especially from an architectural point of view. I suggest that everyone should pay a visit to watch it. Kot Diji Fort is so old place it was made up for safety from with bricks and this door is made by iron. This place constructed era of meer "Talpur". It is a historical place   (Kot Diji Fort) was built around 1790 by the Talpur dynasty ruler of Upper Sindh, Mir Suhrab, who reigned from 1783 to 1830 AD. This fort built on the ridge of a steep narrow hill is well-preserved.

Relics such as these gives an insight on the interesting world our ancestors lived in. Its disheartening to see that almost no efforts are made for upkeep of such historical places. This place could easily turn into a popular tourist spot with minimum efforts by the government and the revenue can be beneficial for the locals

The site is situated at the foot of the Rohri Hills where a fort (Kot Diji Fort) was built around 1790 by the Talpur dynasty ruler of Upper Sindh. It's a gorgeous location and visiting at sunset was surreal.

A historic place located at Khairpur, Province Sindh, Pakistan. This Fort is used by the old civilization of people living in Sindh. Now a famous place for tourists. Old architecture in modern days surprised the architectures how this Fort was built in past era without equipments. A classical art of civil work.

Kot Diji Fort is a true gem of Sindh's historical landmarks. The fort's impressive architecture, well-preserved walls, and strategic location on a hill make for a breathtaking sight that is truly one-of-a-kind. The fort is believed to have been constructed on the ruins of an earlier fortification, and its 18th-century construction is still impressive to this day. Visitors to the fort will be in awe of its towering walls, which stand over 15 meters high and are 1.5 meters thick. The fort's strategic location provides stunning views of the surrounding landscape, making for an unforgettable experience. The fort has been well-preserved over the years, and its popularity as a tourist destination is well-deserved. If you're interested in history, architecture, or culture, then a visit to Kot Diji Fort is a must. This impressive historical fortress is a true treasure, and it's sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who visits.

Lots of potential, but needs to be conserved. The view from fort is great. Some work was being done but we were told that Rs 190 million were approved but most of it has been siphoned off instead of used for the fort. A proper guide and better sign boards can make the experience much better. To get to the fort do not go through the village but on the alternate route. The climb might be difficult for seniors. You need over 2 hours to enjoy it properly

Good Place to visit, nice heritage , no entrance fee. Carry a water bottle with you as one has to climb steps and gets thirsty after reaching top.

The ancient site at Kot Diji was the forerunner of the Indus Civilization. The occupation of this site is attested already at 3300 BCE. The remains consist of two parts; the citadel area on high ground, and outer area. The Pakistan Department of Archaeology excavated at Kot Diji in 1955 and 1957

This place is called Kot Diji Fort. The fort is located on the hills. It is of great historical importance. This fort was built in the time of Talpurs, it was built by Mir Sohrab Talpur and is still standing today. It takes a lot of hard work to get to the top and you feel very tired. Looking from top to bottom is a fascinating sight. Looking from one side to the other, you can see only palm trees which are a soothing sight. We were fascinated by the greenery and natural beauty of the palms outside the fort. The palms extend westward to the horizon. On the east side, as far as the eye could see, were hills. Most of the people come to this fort for sightseeing and entertainment. Walking and having fun here reduces mental stress. It was a pleasure to walk in this fort and it was a lot of fun.

A fort which can take you to the past memories of kings and there power. Now a sad ruin. The only fort which was designed in such a way that no army could attack it. Never been captured. DIjii fort is now a den of bats But still a worth visit if you like forts and history.

Kotdiji Fort It is a very beautiful fort but due to lack of attention of the government, this fort has now become a ruin. If this fort had been in any other place then it would have been built like a bastion for the people, but due to the apathy of the government, it has been destroyed.

A must Visit Place in khairpur District,An Old Fort That was Built for Defense,As You enter from the main huge gate there is a well which is more likely a dustbin because of poor maintenance and then a Canon is there ,After The hallway there are a lot of Stairs as it is situated on a small mountain you are climbing ,The view from the top Of the Fort is breathtaking 😍. Specially the sunset from the Fort is a Beautiful View .

Nice archaeological site to visit, the castle was built in the late 1790, it is well-preserved. In my opinion the Castle was served as military barracks, Jail and 2 prisoner's execution docks, although it has an inner court containing Mir Suhrab's accommodation & Kitchen but the inner court is not preserved and the Mir's bed chamber is left for bats now a days. All 3 elephant proof gates are still standing and worth observing, There is no entry fee for visitors and there is a small rest area for the visitors besides the main gate containing souvenir shop.

"This State of Art Fort" was built in Talpur Era in 18th Century. It is the masterpiece of Engineering. It is still in stable condition. This fort is located in the town of Kot Dijji in Khairpur Mirs District of Sindh. This reflects the picture of sindhi civilization. There is no entry fee. It is free of cost just carry some drinks and food with you.

One of well preserved & easily accessible historic fort. You can spend good few hours with family here if you are interested in historical architecture. Carry drinking water & May be some quick snacks. Parking is safe however the entrance part may be slightly crowed due to narrow streets. Overall the place is easily accessible.

Fort is situated on a hill overlooking the village, fort is quite unique with it's structure and built along the curves of hill on which it is situated and there are three big doors before you enter so the entry doors were built purposefully for security to deter the enemy to enter.

one of the best preserve fort in Pakistan. strategically made very impressive on top of small hill, which seems to be difficult to conquer. form the top the rulers were suppose to keep an eye on whole of the surrounding area. build with small brick, fort design is very impressive. this fort is in kot DG which is near to khairpur, although government is paying less importance to this fort as it is still the property of the rural talpur
