Wow! This place is nice. A scenic trail from the Nature Center is about 0.7 miles to this spring. One you cross a wooden bridge you will see circular stone work with clear water in the middle. You can sit on the stones to relax and enjoy the bubbling spring and soothing sound of flowing water. Many side trails exist from this spot. Great place to take a break while hiking.

We've been taking the short hike to Buffalo springs ever since our kids were really young and it's always a nice relaxing walk. You start off at the nature center. It's small but informative and interesting with a nice gift shop and theater to watch a film. The creek flows under the nature center and it sits at the trailhead to the springs. The trail is wonderfully shaded with a nice gravel pad to walk on surrounded by forest and a running spring fed stream. The springs are beautiful and well-maintained. It's been a family tradition to bring our kids here and take photos as they grown up. Con: Be very aware that there is poison ivy everywhere. Stay on the trails and you'll be fine but be careful and know what it looks like before you go.

A nice little place with shade to sit for a few minutes during your park visit. The water is cold and relaxing even in July.

Much family history in Sulphur, OK including the National Park at the edge of town. Walk to the headwaters of Travertine Creek and enjoy the natural beauty!

👍👍 Absolutely gorgeous. This place is a hidden gem of Oklahoma. Crystal clear water. I could have spent days here enjoying the scenery. If it was warmer, a great time lace to swim and have cookouts. If you live in Oklahoma or visit, please do yourself a favor and go here. Gods country.
