A favorite amongst waterfalls that we have visited in Bali! It takes a while to walk down to the waterfall, and it’s a somewhat strenuous walk back up, but it’s worth it. It’s not a difficult walk, as it is mostly stairs with some bamboo bridges at the bottom. This is probably one of the best waterfalls for swimming, as it is easy to access and enter the water, and there is a large pool at the bottom of the falls. They caution you to NOT swim under the falls as they are very forceful and you are likely to be injured. There are shops and warungs along the wallway. I

Visited here for our friend’s lovely wedding in front of the waterfall. It was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The only obstacle was humidity and wet stairs from the raining season got me in pain while walking up and down to the waterfall. Above all it was an amazing experience.

This waterfall is nice as it is more open and is surrounded by greenery. The mouth of the waterfall is wide and can cater for 30 to 40 people comfortably. You can spend around 1 to 1.5hrs at the waterfall enjoying the surrounding. The path down is also easy but you will need to be careful crossing the bamboo walkway. Entry was 20k i think.

I visited the Tibumana Waterfall in Bali and had a mixed but overall enjoyable experience. The entrance fee of 20,000 per person seemed reasonable given the serene setting and well-maintained facilities. The paved path leading to the waterfall was a comfortable stroll, taking no more than 10 minutes. However, it's worth noting that the staircase can be steep, posing a challenge for those with mobility issues. Along the way, a convenient little supermarket offered refreshing drinks and fresh fruits, while an ice cream shop provided a delightful treat. The waterfall itself is undeniably beautiful, though there's a suspicion that it may be somewhat man-made. The pristine surroundings and the well-groomed appearance raised some questions about its natural authenticity. Nevertheless, the cascading water and lush greenery created a picturesque scene, making it a worthwhile stop for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. For practicality, two changing rooms are available near the waterfall, catering to those looking to freshen up after a dip. Additionally, the presence of a lifeguard adds an extra layer of safety, particularly for families with children.

After a little research this place came up the most promising for unspoiled authenticity. Having spoken to a few other travellers at the site, they confirmed this was the best waterfall location they had yet visited also. 20000IDR per person at the car park, but plenty of scooters further on past that, so you could bypass the stealth admission fee if so inclined. Not so busy as you can see. We were there about 1300 on a Wednesday. Good access steps on the way down and plenty of areas to rest if required with refreshments.

honestly not a hard walk at all nor slippery. probably took a few minutes to get down and i wouldn’t consider myself athletic. went around 5pm and it was pretty quiet and empty- we were the only ones in the water for most of the time. waterfall looks almost too perfect! and there’s no trash either. the waterfall also has change rooms right near it. worth the drive!

Yes the waterfall is very beautiful and it’s not too crowded so it’s a nice peaceful place to chill and relax. However, we had a life threatening experience. Since they don’t allow any cab pickups in that area we hired a local taxi from the payment area when you enter the waterfall. A weird guys appeared as a driver. Not sure if he was drunk or high or underage or insane but we had no option so we went with him. He was driving very recklessly and he hit a motorbike on a curve and he then crashed into a tree. He ran away and the person on the bike was taken to a hospital(hopefully he survives). We were left injured and on foot. Please be aware that you are on your own when you have to return and be careful on the road specially on a 2 wheeler. Ubud has the craziest traffic and we are very lucky to be alive, I hope the other person also lives.

The waterfall is not very far from ubud, the road is very beautiful when approaching this waterfall. The waterfall is high, the road down is about 100 steps, there is also a cafe on the way with very tasty food at a very low price and with natural juices. I recommend visiting the waterfall after that have lunch at the Uma Sari D'Warung cafe with a beautiful view of the rice field

A beautiful waterfall about 30 minutes from the centre of Ubud, that is an easy walk from the main entrance. You will have to pay a nominal fee to enter. The water was amazing and fresh so don't forget your swimming gear.

Good waterfall and refreshing to swim. I went on a Saturday and it wasn't overcrowded. A surprising number of food outlets for a place that is secluded. Good toilets where you can change before/after swimming.

It a nice waterfall with beautiful surroundings, but it is very generic and together with the fact that you cannot get close to it (you have to swim there, and even then swimming close to the waterfall is prohibited) makes it a second priority pick for me. The waterfall situated in the rural area near the temple (accessible by both car and bike), so the drive there is beautiful, as well as the walk from the parking to the waterfall itself. You can also find many nice restaurants on your way there. Near the waterfall you can also visit the main temple at the entrance and small shrine on your way down (there is a sign showing where is the waterfall and where is the shire). It all looks nice 🦋 but nothing spectacular. The waterfall is easily accessible even in rainy weather and the walk takes 15-20 min from parking.

The walk to the waterfall is short but very scenic with a cute bridge and nice foliage and trees. The waterfall itself has a nice little swimming area should you like to take a dip closer to the Falls. Overall a really great spot. On the way back there's a few nice cafes where you can enjoy a refreshing drink near some scenic rice paddies

Another two amazing waterfalls here! The walk between the trees and plants makes it so beautiful. The all place is very clean from the car park to down the waterfalls. The people who worked here were constantly cleaning the paths and sweeping up the leafs. It is good to see they are look after this amazing place. There are changing rooms and toilets. You can swim in the natural pool created by the waterfall. One of the best in the Ubud/Gianyar area. Entry fee 20 K Rupiah/person.

Nice visit here, on a very hot day. It was quite busy at the actual waterfall. It has a lot of steps to get down to it. Very pretty though!
