September 2023 update: new owners, same great menu with a few new specials. Everyone is just as friendly as ever and the food's still great, too. Expect a wait most nights. Good Italian and good pizza in a small but pleasant atmosphere. This is the kind of place that makes you wonder why anyone would voluntarily go to an Olive Garden or Pizza Hut. The Elberta pizza with Alfredo sauce is my personal favorite.

Absolutely love this place. Very quaint. The pizza is one of my favorites along with their French Onion Soup.

Exceptional food and service everything was fantastic!! First time eating here and was not disappointed at all!! and this is coming from a person that was spoiled on homemade everything and an Italian family The serving size was enough to fill up for dinner and enough for lunch which i cant wait to enjoy today We will be back for more for sure even though we are in pensacola well worth the drive

This little place is great! The spinach artichoke dip was amazing. The Pizzas were great and the wife loved the chicken Parmesan! Also the little girl liked her chicken Alfredo!

Awesome food. Great service. Garlic knots were delicious (as was everything). If you're considering visiting, don't hesitate. Most definitely go.

This family owned and operated restaurant is a delight. Fresh, delicious, flavorful Italian pasta, huge portions at a very reasonable price. Our server, Stacey, took great care of us. Highly recommend!

We have eaten at Portabella's several times. We have always had a great experience. Food and service is always consistently above average. You'll never go wrong eating here. Note. sometimes there is wait but it is definitely worth it. Get there early....like before 5 and you can get right in for dinner.

I have to say that I was shocked at the prices. Very good and the food was amazing. I can say I expected it to be a bit bigger on the inside but all in all it was amazing. I will definitely be back. The meat ball and angel hair pasta was the best. Can't wait to have it again.

We order pick up a few times a month...portions could be a bit bigger on the pasta type dishes, but everything is really delicious and the pizza is great! I want to come eat inside sometime, it just seems like a fun, hometown place! 🍕🍝

Small restaurant, but dont let that fool you. The food was excellent, very flavorful and cooked to perfection. I cant say enough about the staff...Stacy was our server and the best service we've had anywhere around here in years. She didn't know it was my wife's birthday (we've had some really bad birthday dinners in the past) until the end of our meal when my wife brought it to her attention that the bill did not include the bottle of wine we had. Stacy offered to pay for it since the computer messed up, even insisted after hearing about my wife's birthday. She received a very large tip. Thank you Stacy

Delicious 🤤 and service was so friendly and helpful! Food was so hot and made to order! Everything was amazing! Shrimp corn chowder what more needs to be said! French onion soup was good! Not a clump of cheese at the end like most places French onion soup! The chicken on the Cesar salad was so yummy! Soft and real chicken! We love love love it! Thank you for a wonderful lunch! Parking was easy! The place was a bit chilly but it was 40 degrees outside, so understandable! Tables spaced out nicely! Clean and fast but very delicious food!

Walking in the door you have the smell of Italian as the 1st impression. The service was great, always checking on us. The food was delicious. I loved they offer small plates and large plates. Wine was very good, dessert excellent. If you want Italian food, go here! Oh, and prices very reasonable.

Had an amazing first-time visit to Portabella's in Foley, AL tonight! Met the owners during a karaoke night and instantly became friends. Pam & Rich are taking Portabella's dinning experience to the next level. Had dinner there with friends tonight and every dish was a hit! And the dessert? Absolutely phenomenal! Can't wait to go back and try their pizza. Shoutout to Rich, the owner and incredibly talented chef, who serenaded us tonight! Huge thanks to Rich, Pam and the entire staff for such a delightful dinner experience!

We were so happy that Portabella’s reopened! My daughter was coming home from college for the summer, and she said it was the first place she wanted to go. She was crushed when I told her it had closed, so we were thrilled to hear they would be opening again. We’ve been watching and waiting, and it was a treat to go tonight. Everything was delicious - apps, Caesar salad, and pizza. They have the best Alfredo pizza we’ve found. Great service, too!

Portabella’s is back open & under new ownership! The menu hasn’t changed and the food just might be even better than it was before! They have the BEST spinach artichoke dip served with pita bread triangles. Our pizza of the night was The Foley with Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. Chefs kiss!

Excellent customer service. The spinich dip appetizer really stood out and was excellent! Pizza was better than most places in the area. Decor needs updating and the dining room looked like it needed a good deep cleaning.

Stopped in for dinner. We had the Spinach Artichoke Dip, the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta, and the Lasagna! It did not disappoint! The portions are generous and they kept our drinks filled! It stayed busy, but the service was impeccable! Would definitely be back soon!!!

I heard from the locals this was one of the very best restaurants, and it did not disappoint! It's not a big place, and it's as if you're treated like family by the amazing staff and Chef owner. I've had spinach artichoke dip, some of the best anywhere. This is without question one of the very best versions ever! Same can be said for the Caesar salad; ice cold, crisp romaine on a chilled plate - there's no detail overlooked. Shared several pastas with the table, all of it was cooked perfection! So good, but the next day I came back to get some more lasagna, (and spinach dip!) to take home to my family. I'm going back for a third time in less than 2 weeks if that tells you anything. Truly a great restaurant that should not be missed! Thanks team Portobello, Y'all do outstanding work here!

Food was excellent. Portobello appetizer, chicken parmesan both tasted superb. Only downer was the patrons waiting on a table stood right at my table with one of the children leaning on my table, moving chair, patting table. Became a little annoying. There's no waiting area right inside the door.

Had pizza for the second time here. It's good, not great. Crust was chewy - not crisp. Slightly soggy in the middle. Not generous on the toppings. Pizza not cut evenly. Was fresh and hot. Service in the restaurant seemed rushed. Kitchen was shorthanded. Noticed that one waitress was not too pleasant with the guests. Majority of dishes appeared to be well prepared. Frequented by locals. Tends to attract families and older adults. Overall, reasonable prices, good food, and average service. (It is super tough in this industry with ridiculous shortages). Glad they are open for business.

Excellent little pizza eatery. Very friendly and attentive staff and excellent service. Prices are very reasonable considering the other food options in the area. We had the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer and each got our own personal 10" pizza. Both the appetizer and pizza were excellent. The picture is of a somewhat local Amber that was very good. Highly recommend stopping in to grab a bite. It is a little hole in the wall place (a very good thing) so don't let outward appearance scare you off.

My husband is Italian. So, I was pleasantly surprised when he loved the sauce! You can tell a legit restaurant by the sauce! Lol 😂 We loved the food and will be back. I got the Chicken Parm- which was actually cut up slices of grilled chicken rather than a big fried chicken breast. My husband got the Sausage Pasta- it had a lot of veges in it (onions & peppers)… he doesn’t like a ton of veges in his pasta, but I do! So, it would be something I would enjoy. Small dining area and they stop accepting customers a little before closing. So, get here early!

Ordered the seafood ravioli with a side spinach salad to-go. Their salad was delicious as always (I don’t know how they make their dressing but I wish they’d bottle it and sell it!). The pasta wasn’t as good as it usually is. Ravioli tasted fishy (I’ve had it before and it was much better). I ordered the small, which only came with 4 raviolis and some sauce dumped on top. Wasn’t very filling or tasty.
