Simply fantastic. Went for Sunday lunch. The staff were excellent and went that extra mile. The food quality was great. The over all dining experience was superb. A massive thankyou for a magical experience. Well done all of you.

Absolutely beautiful food and some of the best customer service I've ever had. I would definitely recommend the carvery on a Sunday.

Went for the carvery other sunday, staff very attentive with excellent manners. carvery the best sunday lunch i have ever had will defo be returning, The only advice would give if you like to sit in resteraunt style of seating then perhaps mention on time of booking meal, i was asked to sit in the pub by the television which for me was the best seat in the house as football was on ?? So i was very happy ! so much so that me and my partner stayed the rest of the day having few more drinks ?? And found the bar prices to be very fair ? even had a take-away curry to come home with wow what a great day good job i was on the Arriva bus service which has a bus stop just down from the pub.

We went for the first time to Wrexham. Booked with my colleague 2 rooms. Staff is friendly but rooms are not clean. Spiders in rooms, shower not proper, toilet not working properly. A stay to forget and no publicity for Trevor Arms. Price what we paid was to high for what we received.

Lovely welcoming staff,great food most amazing chips. Waiter brought out an ice cream with a candle in it and sang Happy birthday to me, lovely touch to finish off a great evening. Highly recommended the place will definitely go back.

Went for a carvery today and always was spot on. Best carvery around. In the past front of house service has let it down but today it was very different. They have a new guy there running front of house and hes brilliant. Hes on the ball. Complements to the chef and kitchen staff aswel as food was amazing. Warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Arrived all the way from Yorkshire coast (to locked doors at gone midday) to find they had “no record” of us booking, despite emails sent ( not answered) and a phonecall in September to check that all was in order!!! However, the ‘manager’ called my partner by his surname (when we finally found someone) so he definitely remembered the call!!! Fully booked apparently, we were offered the use of a room staff sometimes stay over in!!! Naturally, we said no. We were very , very lucky we managed to find a room in a nearby hotel ( everywhere else was booked) where we were booked for Afternoon Tea as part of a package through Activity Superstore . Very, very annoyed.

The food is outstanding for a pub, you expect average but this food is delicious and really large portions. The staff are super friendly and even the chef came out and did a special dish for our daughter. Would definitely come again. X

Our first visit here and the food was really nicd, very pleasant staff. Only downside was that when we first arrived, we were the only ones in the pub and it was VERY quiet, maybe adding some music in the background would be nice?

Had a meal there last night. Absolutely spot on! Food was excellent and plentiful. The naan bread was so fresh and tasty! Staff were all wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Service was quick, prices very reasonable. We rebooked for a Sunday carvery before we left! It was that good! Highly recommend.

Beer tasted like Chlorine. Don't think the lines were cleaned properly. The wine was from a bottle that must have been opened over a week ago as tasted off. Not one other person in there. Bar looks clean and nice, staff was helpful.

This visit was not as good as previous visits. The carvery was nice a better choice of vegetables would have been appreciated. Steak not cooked as requested. Staff didn't seem to know what was happening around them.

Popped in for tea after a walk with the dog. Can’t stress enough how good the staff are in here. As an ex chef the fish and chips was one of the best I’ve had at this price range. Will definitely be back

It has become my daughter and husbands local as just around the corner.. Didn't like it few years ago but has changed for the better and you can also take your best friend in with you.. Mines Poppy a Yorkshire Terrier..

Had a lovely carvery here recently. The owner was very welcoming and accommodated my partners request to change the TV channel when we were the first in the pub seating section. The food was really delicious, and the interior quaint and well kept. Out at the rear could do with a tidy up, but the weather has been pants recently, so don't let that put you off. We will definitely be back.

Called in today as a random stop on the way home from a weekend away. Not only was the food excellent (one of the best curries I've had in the UK), the staff were very welcoming gave our dog water and then a small bowl of food! We will definitely be back at some point in the near future

Stopped for a meal at lunchtime on our way home after a weekend away. FANTASTIC! My husband is still raving about the most authentic curry he has ever eaten outside of India! The dog was welcome and was fed and watered free of charge!

Called in on the way home, and I'm clad we did , the service was excellent, menu was good ,but the food was more than superb, i cannot describe the deliciousness that we tasted, i will be returning for another taste , and the price was very competitive.

Sensational! The steak burgers my partner and I had were some of the best we can ever recall receiving. The service was fantastic and the building is full of character. Should we ever find ourselves passing through this part of Wales again we'll be sure to stop by

Just had the most lovely carvery for 6 people at Trevor Arms Marford. Staff attentive and friendly. The carvery food was very good - hot, plentiful and beautifully cooked. We’ll definitely go back.

Went for Sunday dinner sat down at our table waited 45 mins before we were told where to go for the cavery but the food was lovely couldn't fault it I also waited 15mins for them to bring the dessert menu but ended up getting it myself service was slow but the staff were friendly they were very young it was reasonably priced the food I would go back again for a sunday dinner as I said the food was lovely

We called into this establishment on Saturday 9th December, late afternoon for food. The place was quiet and the manager happily greeted us. We choose the xmas fayre menu as it was available without prior booking. On arrival, the food looked appetising and the portion size was generous. It also tasted as good as it looked! We decided to have Apple pie with custard for dessert. The dessert was perfect....Apple pie had a nice crisp pastry served with proper homemade custard....absolutely delicious! The manager served us throughout our visit. He was chatty and welcoming. We will definitely be back to dine and would recommend the Trevor Arms for food.

Pure fluke we ended up at this lovely pub. Looking for somewhere to take lunch I looked on Google maps and found it. The food was stunning and well cooked. Definitely one for a return visit next time we pass.

Went for a family meal, food was gorgeous, outstanding food for a pub. The manager, Dev, was amazing. Great service. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!!

The food was great and well priced. The staff were even better and very accommodating and happy throughout our whole stay.

Having eaten here for the first time today we were pleasantly surprised. The carvery was beautifully cooked, the beer tasted great and dessert was lovely. It was a great afternoon and we will definitely be returning. If I'm honest we didn't want to leave.

Staff are working so hard and are super lovely and polite! Food and beer was all delicious! It's just a shame they haven't got more and better heaters while you have to sit outside. It'll be lovely in the summer, though! Thank you!

Lovely location . . . A warm day so we sat on the stage area outside. We were able to see a jay and watch a buzzard flying overhead. Food was lovely and the staff really friendly and chatty, grandson enjoyed the outdoor play area . . . Perfect evening .

I booked through Agoda for 7th August (I was attending a friends wedding). I received confirmation from Agoda for my booking. However on morning of 7th I received an email from Trevor Arms saying my booking for 6th August had been cancelled and my card had been charged for no show. Trevor arms had no reservation for me for 7th. Lucy the manager was helpful when I arrived and assured me she’d reimburse me my money for a room is not booked but had been charged for. I’m still waiting and apparently she’s ignoring all emails/phone calls from Agoda. I’ve also emailed Trevor Arms and had no response. NOT HAPPY!

Great meal. Plenty of space. Good parking. Kids had space to run around outside Good menu. Sensible prices. Wi-Fi patchy which was a pain but that forced us to talk more!?! Steak very good though bizarrely the chips were missing (better for the waistline so I didn’t ask for them) All six of us happy and well fed. If we’re ever in that part of that world we’ll come again. Thank you!

Not sure if anyone works here. Took 40 minutes for me and my partner to get the key for our room. The shower doesn't work and when we went to go to the pub located on site it again took over half an hour to be served one drink and they had forgotton the other. The morning after I am sat waiting for 1 coffee for over half an hour and as I am sitting here writing this I am still waiting.absolute waste of time the rooms are filthy and no staff. And when the staff do eventually emerge they seem to be undertrained and have absolutely no idea what to do

Ate here for dinner. Friendly place, fairly basic decor. Plenty of vegan options which were tasty. Good value for money.

Fantastic vegetarian and vegan food. We chose here for our evening meal because the online menu looked more promising for veggie/vegan food, and the reality didn't disappoint. The landlady is vegetarian, and checked whether we wanted vegetarian or vegan versions of our dishes. The vegan hot dog with vegan chilli and vegan cheeze was absolutely delicious, and the vegan chocolate torte was so good too. Lovely friendly pub - great food and drinks - highly recommended.

A good pub with a new landlord. Our meal was well cooked. The Sri Lankan curries were lovely. I'm sure that this pub will prove to be a very good local and well worth a visit for the quality of the meals.

Has a Sunday carvery with the family. Will definitely call again.

A genuine old pub/ Restaurant, in an ancient village setting, accommodation available. The houses in the location date back many years, some of the windows are small round, to represent eyes, to ward off evil, all of the properties outer walls are painted white!! A fascinating area.

An unexpectedly delicious curry with perfectly cooked aromatic basmati rice and Naan bread, all freshly made by the Sri Lankan chef. Staff very knowledgeable about the menu. Decor a bit tired.

Food I had wasn't fantastic, deep fried frozen chips and beer battered fish. Chips ok but nothing to write home about, a little greasy. The fish was overcooked and batter bland and tasteless. I would say due to the colour of the fish and the grease on the plate that the oil in the frier is probably old. I didn't feel very well afterwards. I doubt I'll be returning.

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday for the first time. An excellent carvery with a good choice of meat, plenty of freshly cooked veg, superb roast potatoes and a vegetarian alternative. Very good value. The decor is a little " tired", but I'd rather have tired decor and good food than the other way round. It is authentic, and the young staff were very helpful and genuinely pleasant. We will certainly go back.

Extremely friendly (and dog friendly) pub with comfortable accommodation. Very clean rooms. Delicious and varied meals and a well stocked bar. Even though we live 50 miles away the Trevor Arms feels like our local. We are always made to feel welcome and no doubt we will be returning for a 4th and further times.

We had a 3 course mean there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was tasty and good portions. There service was also very good and on the ball. There only slight criticism was the decor was a bit tired and needs freshening up but apart from that all was good.

Very good location, wonderful old building with friendly and helpful staff, but the room disappointed. Shabby IKEA like decor that hasn't been well maintained. Room was clean, but the carpet could at least do with a deep clean, only one bedside light, curtain hooks missing and a dated shower room. Would do better at the Travel Lodge.

You have a lot of good reviews, so maybe we had an off night, the staff were pleasant although all appeared young with no supervision and little training, one male member staff swore rather loudly once, I had my grandson with me, so I wasn’t really amused. Drinks were wrong despite being asked twice about the order, my latte took almost 25 mins to arrive, I had said in the end please cancel it, I’ll have a cold drink. Food was lovely, no complaints there.
