I would give no stars if I could, staff are so rude!! Who are they to tell me that paying my credit card bill in store is not essential! I'm to set up a standing order! I dont want to set up a bloody standing order! I want to come in branch once a month pay my bill and leave, Im happy to wait in the queue and never complain, but the man on the door is so rude! There is a sign on the door saying that if customers use abusive behaviour we will be asked to leave but its ok for staff to talk to us like that! If I didnt pay my bill they soon be on my back to get into store to pay it! Do they not want a job! If we all went online they literally would not have a job! I will be changing banks as this happens every month!

One star is generous. Service was poor before covid. If you are not of the digital age, the staff are rude and unhelpful. If you have a disability which isn’t obvious, go to another bank. The staff at the door are obnoxious and arrogant and have reduced customers to tears. They need to get rid of the manager and recruit decent staff instead of basically bouncers on the door who don’t understand the concept of customer service. Having 27 years experience in banking, the service there is truly shocking beyond belief. I’m disgusted with the way my family have been treated recently and have to question their recruitment processes, how have these individuals secured positions in customer service roles when they clearly have no professionalism, empathy and kindness for their customers?

There’s usually not enough staff, and long queues. The person who was assigned to help me with online banking didn’t even know how to use it them self. They can be helpful if they actually know what they’re doing. It’s very clean and tidy, with a pleasant atmosphere.

All I wanted to do was use the machine to deposit coins into my account, after waiting to use machine I then had to wait in another queue for over 30 mins to see someone on the desk with a receipt to put the money in my account. All in all this took nearly an hour which is ridiculous and really poor. It’s always the same when you need the information desk it takes an age to be seen

To be fair, I found the staff to be ok and quite polite. The bank setup however is quite tragic, loads of machines to use but only 2 members of staff in a busy environment. Gone are the typical cash desks, instead you have a lady at a desk helping you to discuss your issues right in front of a very interested queue that has heard every word. After a small wander about you come across another lady standing in front of the most insecure excuse of a cash desk I've ever seen, who is clearly reluctant to actually give you something called...wait for it........your own money.

Every time I need to take out cash from my account its a battle. Want more than your card limit? Yeah not happening. Want to take out the money on a Saturday? We don't do cash on Saturday. A BANK THAT DOESN'T DO CASH, that's like telling people at Tesco they can't buy bread because it's a weekend. The opening hours are awful too, work 9-5 well they are open 930-430 so you can't get there before or after work. Work long hours? Guess you're out of luck. Live or work anywhere other than the town centre? Good luck getting to the branch. Its pathetic.

Someone told me Wrexham Branch had closed. However, surprised to see it is still open. I live in Wrexham, but go to Telford Branch. The service at Telford is first-class and staff very pleasant and helpful. In fairness, Wrexham Branch used to be like that too. I haven’t used Wrexham for a few years because it was going further and further down hill. Amazed that Nat West have closed so many good branches, yet Wrexham remains open!

Very good, always a member of staff there if you need it. It would be nice if they had a pen that actually worked tho.

Had very good service on a Saturday from Andrew (possibly manager - who I think was from another branch), and another staff member (who’s name I didn’t note - sorry) - they couldn’t have been more helpful. So a shout out to them. 👊

Rude, unhelpful, disdainful and patronising. They wouldn’t let my uncle withdraw money and made me feel like a criminal for helping him buy a car! My uncle lives 16 miles away in a town where the branch is closed and doesn’t have access to internet banking. They’ve cost us both time and money, and infuriated me in the process. They are a notoriously bad bank, living up to their reputation. Nobody in their right mind should choose to be their customer.
