This is some of best food I ever had. Been coming here for over 30 years and never has disappointed me. I love their food so much I had them catered my wedding. The owner is a great person, the staff is friendly, the food is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Al’s. If you haven’t had it yet, you need to try it asap

Delicious homemade foods at a very reasonable price. Nice deli and butcher next door to be able to take something home

This was my first time here and it is an absolute treasure! I ordered the dinner sampler and everything was fantastic! I ordered one pierogi, mashed potatoes and green beans for my two year old. Next time I'm in Barberton I will have to stop here again. Thanks!!

Absolutely the best Hungarian / Polish / Eastern European cuisines in the area. Every time I’m in town, I venture out to Barberton from Canton to get lunch here. The sample plate is the best place to start. My go to is the sausage plate with a side of cabbage roll and mashed potatoes with the cabbage roll sauce. When I eat here, I immediately remember my grandma’s cooking. A must for anyone in the area.

This place is a bit of a diamond in the rough. If you’re not from the area, which I am not you might not know about the deliciousness held within its doors. Not to mention that next-door is an amazing Eastern European meat market. The food here is hard to describe safe from amazing. I think I could say everything I tried was the best, and my favorite that I’ve had anywhere. The best by far was the chicken paprikash, I’ve had chicken paprikash locally at several places, but nothing that tastes this amazing! You can tell the love that goes into this food, a lot of it is made next-door in the butcher shop. I can’t wait to plan the next family trip to bring everyone here!

You have to try their sampler platter!!! Cabbage roll, chicken paprikash with dumplings, cabbage and dumplings, perogi, Hungarian sausage with grilled onions, peppers, and sauerkraut, bread and butter and beverage. OMG so good!! Very clean, with plenty of tables and amazing friendly crew! Best Hungarian food in Summit county!

Wow, great place. Feels like home cooked meals. Older building but clean. Only open 11-2 but worth going too.

Whenever we're in town Al's corner restaurant is a must stop and eat at least once . Everyone is friendly, food is hot, delicious and makes you want to go back for more. I wish I could get some home delivered to Georgia.

Amazing Hungarian food. It is so hard to choose what to get. The Hungarian sausage is great. I usually get a combo. The cabbage rolls are good as is the chicken paprikash. I highly recommend this place.

I always make a point to try to get to Al's on teacher holidays and I order a variety for leftovers. I've even frozen the cabbage and was pleasantly surprised how well it reheats. Al's never disappoints! Be sure to check the hours they're open. Especially if you want to visit the meat store attached :-)

First time to Al's. See you all next week. It's the best food we have EVER eaten. Made with love and we could tell.

This place is both notorious and a hidden gem at the same time. If you're from Barberton, you know about Al's. If you're not from Barberton, you should definitely make the trip!

Pretty good Hungarian style food. Just the basic most mainstream food here though like stuffed cabbage and pierogies. It's very good overall if a bit underseasoned compared to some of my Hungarian family's recipe. Great portions for the price too.

I live in California, but when I visit the Copley, OH area, I insist on a drive to Barberton to enjoy a lunch at Al's Corner Restaurant. Missing a meal here is not an option, as the food is not just delicious, but totally consistent. There is never an "off-day" for this place, as the people are friendly and the food is definitely comfort food for the soul. Trust me, you will be very pleased as well as sated.

Went there for the first time ever and what a great experience! Ordered online which was super convenient and easy. Went to pick it up and the ladies that were behind the counter were very pleasant and friendly with a quick smile. The food was great!! The cabbage roll and sausage with kraut was my favorite part of the sampler (even though it was all good). I will definitely be back!

For the last two weekends my husband and I attended our 45th for me and his 50th class reunions BOTH catered by AL'S. Our classes each, separately, ordered the exact same food choices. Without a doubt, THE FOOD WAS MARVELOUS BOTH TIMES. One was at the Barberton Moose shelter and his was at Al's venue. Al's place was a beautiful venue. Restrooms were very clean. The venue was clean, the staff were more than friendly. IT WAS GREAT AND I HIGHLY, MORE THAN THAT EVEN, RECOMMEND AL'S FOR ANY OF YOUR EVENTS. No, we do not know Al or anyone there. This group was wonderful.
