Locals love Analog! The name is completely descriptive- with a turntable sharing vinyl melodies, an assortment of relevant magazines and newspapers clipped to the wall for customers, and graphic novels on a coffee table. All the coffee is fresh and smooth. I recommend the cold brew in the summer! A wonderful place to stay for a few and chat or stop by on your biped commute. Truly a West Capitol Hill staple.

Been here twice now and this place never disappoints! Their oat milk latte the first time I went was spot on, and today’s cold brew was great. It was my first time trying b-side next door and their mushroom egg sandwich was delicious. Service is also really great and quick. I also got myself a bag of roasted coffee beans from Kuma Roasters so I’m excited to try it at home. Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood!

Kinda okay coffee. Expected a lot better. Had a mocha, the milk was either over frothed or stale. Not sure.

Fine coffee, but I expected better with the high star rating. The baristas were fine, not rude, but also just quiet. I'd have given it 4 stars but I ordered food, a breakfast sandwich, and they took so long to make it my coffee was done. Which is fine, 3 stars, but also weird - this place has a LOT of employees.

Off the main streets but absolutely on point. My experience at Analog is always pretty good. Their latte is delicious, never disappoints. They carry baked goods from Macrina and Sea Wolf (love them!) , as well as breakfast items from b~foods next door. The atmosphere isn't the warmest but it's relaxed and unassuming. The crowd, on the other hand, always seems the coolest of all the capitol hill coffee spots.

Rude staff. Coffee was mediocre. Would go elsewhere next time.

We love this precious place. Great coffee, perfect "feel" inside, and chairs outside where (back pre-virus) we would regularly sit and meet dogs.

Coffee is good but the service leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We left feeling frustrated and actually shocked the way we were talked too. I’ve been to coffee shops all over the country and this was by far the worst experience. Super disappointed. I’m sure another place will value the customer and the fact that you’re not only paying for a good quality drink, but good service too.

A close family friend raved about the coffee and food at Analog so I drove all the way from Bellevue to Capital Hill to try it. Ordered a Cortado, an espresso with a 1:1 ratio of steamed milk and a Morning Bun. The Cortado, with a light layer of froth, was intensely smooth and perfectly balanced with the right amount of acidity. The after taste was bold and vivid, and lingered in my mouth happily for some time. The Morning Bun was baked to a nice golden brown but it was not as buttery or have the distinct caramelized base that I would have liked. Staff were friendly but not overly welcoming. I will definitely be back for another Cortado or one of their other coffee creations.

Good coffee, though their "large" coffee is only 12oz!

Nice local coffee shop. Pretty streamlined coffee menu and serving food from b-side next door. I had their sweet potato syrup in my latte and it wasn’t super sweet. The espresso was pretty typical of a Seattle coffee shop. What I was most impressed by was the sandwich. I got the b side egg sandwich, spicy with ham, and it was delicious. I agree with the reviews that it wasn’t huge and it didn’t feel like a full meal, but for $7 it was about the size I would have expected. It was enough to satisfy me for a couple hours along with the coffee. Seating was limited to the three 2-person tables outside shown in the photos because of COVID, so it’s not an eat in type of place right now. I would go out of my way to go to this shop again because of the sandwich.

Analog Coffee is a warm, cozy, homey, friendly place to pick up a warm beverage and hang out for a bit. Supporting your local, independent business is not a compromise. It's good for you and for society.

Such good coffee. Love the atmosphere. I had an almond milk latte, and after letting the flavor sit, reminds me of a vanilla biscuit.

We arrived on a saturday morning. There was a huge queue to enter already. We ordered an oat milk mocha and a cold brew. The cold brew was delightful. The mocha was highly disappointing. I couldn’t taste any chocolate in it. It has a sister restaurant inside for ordering food.

A busy local spot, the friendly staff get you in and out quick! Love the atmosphere. I'm a huge fan of their egg breakfast sandwich, absolutely delicious!!

I've only gone twice so far. But the coffee has been perfect both times (soy mocha). Their espresso is rich and deep without tasting burned. The service was excellent and friendly. And the breakfast sandwiches from b~side foods are so good I was thinking about ordering another one before I was finished with the first one. My brother is a regular and loves their cold coffee in addition to the espresso. I highly recommend this cafe.

This is a welcoming coffee shop which is one block away from the house. The vibe is school student-centered and more welcoming. I should say it's the local version of Starbucks with more sophisticated dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's crowded but has a well laid out interior matched with a narrow band of patio tables. I will go back here again!

Such a good spot and good coffee. Some of the patrons can be standard Seattle standoffish, but the people that work there are friendly.

Great coffee, give some of their variations a try. The cold brew soda is delicious a blend of hibiscus and coffee over ice. Delicious.

Such a hidden gem. I love their selection of drip coffees, but I recently tried an espresso drink with sparkling water and it was fantastic! They have really great sandwiches, sides and pastries as well. It's such a great Sunday breakfast spot.

  • 5/5 Nicholas W. 4 years ago on Google
Great coffee from friendly staff! Nice selection pf pour overs and espresso options with a wonderful in-house library of comics to enjoy while you sip.

  • 5/5 Ian M. 1 year ago on Google
Best coffee I've ever had. So much so, that I walk up from First Hill to get it. Their cappuccinos and cold brews hit like no other. There's usually a line, but very worth the wait. The spicy egg sandwich is unique and delicious; it is a must try. The iced mocha is 16oz only, which is a shame since that size is just too milky.

This place had a long line and it was easy to see why. Their coffee is fantastic. Baristas are friendly and poured some great drinks. The food from the connected restaurant looked so yummy, we wished we ordered some. Atmosphere of the restaurant was great.

It's surprisingly difficult to find really well done coffee in Seattle, believe it or not. Analog does it all well - drip, espresso, pour overs, cold brew, it's all good. They pick excellent local roasts and work wonders on them. My favorite overall coffee shop in the city for actually drinking and enjoying coffee.

Don’t despair. The line that weaves out the door here moves pretty quickly. It’s also a lovely place for people watching so can’t complain about a few extra minutes of being squeezed together with local community. The coffee is good and the food selection is en point. We didn’t have to wait long for a sandwich and the coffee came out pretty much when we were finished paying.

Easily my favorite coffee, quick breakfast food, and cafe experience in seattle (possibly my favorite cafe anywhere I’ve lived?) Everyone there is friendly, the coffee is really good, the retrofitted aesthetic is really cool and indie, and the b~side breakfast sandwiches an absolutely nuts. There’s also always a unique crowd there that subtly matches the aesthetic of the place giving it a sense of community.

Tried macchiato and cortado and somehow they both tasted the same. No seating inside, so we sat on the bench outside.

  • 5/5 Stephanie O. 1 year ago on Google
Really enjoyed my chai tea latte with oat milk. Well balanced, not too sweet or bitter. The small is def small but was a perfect little pick me up. Line was out the door but moved relatively fast. Ordered food along with my drink from b-side (and a cookie to go from a local bakery-they had a small sign showing what baked goods were from where)

  • 4/5 K 1 year ago on Google
Oat milk latte was quite mild in oat milk taste and doesn’t bring out the coffee flavour well. Tasted quite diluted.

  • 5/5 Ben 1 year ago on Google
Really solid coffee, all of it - great espresso and pour overs, and their drip is always on point, the latter is not a given at a lot of coffee shops. The food options I’ve tried, the breakfast sandwich and avocado toast, are delicious with some unique flavors happening (in a good way), way above standard fare! Only drawback is it can get very busy, particularly weekend mornings. Still worth it if you’re not in a rush!

I’ve walked by this shop for months and never stopped by and now I regret all of those months that I didn’t stop and get a coffee. Great cold brew, friendly staff and lots of great magazines and newspapers to read if you just wanna chill.

Just coffee and a scone. Friendly and efficient on a quiet corner. Herkimer Coffee and Macrina pastries. They are open until 6 PM, so there no need to rush. Take some time and read a magazine on surfing.

Incredible coffee, really cool, minimal vibe inside, with the best music always pumping. Make sure to try B-Side foods next door, minimal breakfast/brunch spot with a few menu choices that are all amaaaazing. Can't recommend highly enough. Still my fave coffee spot after years of living here.

Visited at eight, it was not full. Looking forward to returning with my friends. It has an awesome atmosphere. Feels similar to a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed visiting.

Try the hibiscus cold brew soda! It's delicious, but so is everything else on the menu. They also rotate bags of at-home coffee from Stamp Act and Herkimer that have really unique flavors.

The hours changed and they barely advertise that, its just a tiny note in a flyer. Good coffee, people loiter too much with their masks off.

Place was clean, nice and customer service was great. Only downside is that my friend and I couldn't taste the coffee for our beverages since it was really milky.

  • 5/5 Morgan S. 3 years ago on Google
Three years later and the 5 stars hasn't changed. Excellent coffee, a great vibe, and evolving too! Now that they've opened the space up with B-Side you've got food choices RIGHT there

Cool place. We got lattes and steeped tea. I liked the reading material choices on the coffee table - Comic books! Magazines! Definitely recommend.

  • 4/5 Joshua W. 4 years ago on Google
Comfortable and welcoming coffee shop with a great vibe inside. Coffee is great too (they use a great roast that's nice and fruity) and their prices are very affordable. Only thing the locations could use is more table seating, but that is the only complaint I can find.
