Rengali Dam, Talsara Irrigation project is constructed across river Bad Bandajore Nalla, a tributary of IB River in Mahanadi basin near village Talsara. A great place for picnic with friends and family. It is 40km from nearby town Sundargarh and 70km away from the nearest railway station Jharsuguda. Nearest airport is Veer Surendra Sai International Airport, Jharsuguda which is 65 km. away from the dam. Peaceful picnic place. Best visit time October to April.

A placid lake amidst the hillock calming to the eyes & very refreshing for weekend outing with family. Road condition very good. Food not available.

It's a medium water project having good scenery and a good picnic spot also despite not connected with good road.

A great location those who want to enjoy the nature. Bit away from the town but it's worth going in there...

I remember when I was in school, I went with my brother, actually we sneaked out . Dam is so big , there's a park along side , it's beautiful to enjoy you picnic. A very good picnic spot. Be careful while enjoying there it's so deep Anyways it's quite far too but worth it you gonna enjoy seeing greenery , long drive silent road ...
