The thoughtfully designed menu offers you courses that consistently leave you craving more, culminating in a satisfying fullness by the end of the meal. The skilled omakase chef not only exudes positivity and knowledge but also contributes to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Undoubtedly, every visit to Stockholm will include a meal at this remarkable restaurant.

Amazing omakase experience! Definitely recommend to have a seat at the bar and go for a bigger omakase with 16 pieces. Very high quality ingredients carefully had picked and many of the ingredients were home made as well such as soya sauce and ginger pickles. The omakase starts with miso soup which already showed that it is not just any other Japanese place. Then we had several sashimis where all of them were really good but what striked me most was the scallops with foie gras, fresh truffle and caviar. It was explosion of flavours. Then we had several sushi pieces including three type of tuna, which of course fatty tuna was the highlight. Another sushi pieces to remember was the sea bream with lime and salt. The sushi courses ended with wagyu bite which was lightly torched in front of us. And the closure with a roasted sesame ice cream. The non alcoholic drink options were rich and suitable to pair with dishes. I can’t recommend enough if you would like to have an experience for a special day.

I had omakase at the table as the bar was fully booked. Having read raving reviews of the Omakase, I was utterly disappointed. Firstly, portions were much smaller than described in the other reviews. Only a total of 7 plates were served. In addition, I was absolutely shocked that one of the Omakase dish was a Maki, with raw fish and pickles. A decent Japanese restaurant would know that it is absolutely a no go to serve and recommend to your customer to eat both raw fish and pickles at the same time. Is your fish that bad in quality?🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Tl;dr — I cannot recommend. The food quality and quantity does not justify the hype and positive reviews on Google maps.

This place has opened my eyes to what sushi really means. A beautiful eating experience with perfectly balanced, one bite morsels. Delicious flavor combinations. Respect for the ingredients and the art of assembling a dish. I have now been two times and look forward to my next omakase. My only (tiny) complaint is that the chef keeps singing happy birthday for no reason and it gets old fast...

We had omakase at the table. Pros: - good food selections and some quality ingredients. Cons: - not much introduction on the dishes besides they tell you which fish you get. - some nigiri rices are not sticking well together - no alcohol license

Completely unexpected experience. Got brought here for a work lunch thinking it would be good but nothing special but oh how wrong I was. The last time I had sushi of this quality was probably at Umu in London. Impossible not to take photos and a fun experience watching the dishes being prepped from the bar. Outstanding quality sushi all round, impeccable service and generally, a beautiful little restaurant.. Highly recommend.

We had the best experience here! We arrived at 5pm when they opened and got to know our Chef, Honda, as we sat at the bar. Honda is such a knowledgeable and passionate Chef!! He really knows so much about sushi! He was so kind and made our dinner here so memorable. The food was incredible and the value for what you get is wonderful— I was so full after. If you’re looking for amazing food and great service this is the place. And the hand made ice cream for dessert was the icing on the cake! We will be back!!

We came for lunch to try their sushi. My partner had the tempura roll and I had the bento. Both were delivered beautifully. The sushi rice is served at body temperature like how it's served in Japan. The raw salmon also had a smooth texture which is different from other places around here. I've been to many sushi places around here including the Michelin place on the next street, and Minako is by far the best. If you want an authentic sushi experience I highly recommend Minako. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Best sushi in Stockholm, that I've tried so far. It's pricey but worth the experience. Nice staff, who explains the dishes and their origins.
