Popular 🇮🇳 Indian restaurant in a nice area of Stockholm. We were 2 friends having dinner and we were both happy and full after sharing two main courses, a street food option and different bread as traditional nan and papadam. Staff was freindly, smiling and helpful. We consider the food to be fresh and tasty. There is starters, main courses and dessert on the menu. There is also street food options which is at good price and tasty as well. Decent value for money in my opinion. Guest at the restaurant was very mixed with Swedish, immigrants as well as tourists and people from the nearby university. There is seating inside and also outside in the summer. Toilet was clean. We were happy with our experience and recommend this popular Indian restaurant.

High quality food for the reasonable price (135 sek) for the delicious chicken with barbeque tone and thin very well made naan bread. Curry-soup and home made juice (two types) included.

Absolutely delightful place! Food was amazing and every dish comes with a recommended drink if you want to. Service was pleasant but not fussy. I had a wonderful evening here with a group of friends and I would love to come back soon because the menu options were all very tempting. The menu itself was a treat. Every dish had a little story. Beautiful. Attention to details. Interior was stylish and the restrooms were filled with sounds from a buzzing city of south east Asia.

Coriander in everything, even in the bread! But the butter masala was good. Will not come back..

Superb Bangla food. If you would like a festive bengali food, this is the place to go. The staff is great, and the food is absolutly amazing. The interior feels classy with a touch of Bangladesh. I really recommend this place.

As I stay in the neighborhood, I used to visit the place often. The food is really good, but the service was one of the rudest I have witnessed in Sweden. The man is always angry and stiff. I thought it was a one-time thing, but it is not. If this issue could be fixed, it's probably the best place for a nice bengali dinner is the city.

We went there for lunch. I took the mix dish. It was so so good! Good price (95SEK), good portions, and great taste. Also part of the lunchmeny is a very tasty soup, a drink that was to me "mango juice", and of course tea/coffee. The place is also super cozy with a small artificial chimney and dim lights.

If you are bored with good food and step up to Heavenly Food, this is the place! You can pick any item on the menu and you would still be delighted. One of my favourites is the Lamb Biryani. The fried buttery rice, the delicious soft lamb meet, the side lamb kofta and beyond this world sauce will take you out of this world.

Our first time at the Shanti, and we weren't disappointed! Liked the starters, the cuisine was flavorful and bursting with character, with a wide choice of dishes to choose from. They offer culinary delights in a cozy ambiance, and the staff are helpful without being overbearing. We had a blast and would highly recommend!

Tried their lunch twice this summer and really recommended! Good are well made with real herbs, soup is fantastic, and mango smoothie tastes great! Service level is good, when you have the right staff or owner.

Indian restaurant in the city with interestingly name- “Shanti” (= Quietness) and “Gossip” (=do I need to tell ;)) Great location and Moderate price. Humble service. Ambiance outside the hotel is super good so everyone wants to be out in the sun. With the small sit out space, longer waiting time- esp for a bigger group. Limited options for vegetarian/non meat.

Very good mango lassi, seemed with real mango (not mango purree). Took thali mix: veggies had muddy taste, lamb was spicy and no warning of it. Maybe it was too late of an evening to order such a dish...no excuses tho. Patio was quite filthy and outside table edges chipped so you can get your clothes caught on it.

The food and its presentation are good, i wish the ingredienrsvwere more clear though, for example the cheese naan was full of herbs which was not mentioned on the menu The place is nice especially the terrace in the summer, the service both times I went there was good in terms if how fast the food is made, however the staff gave unfriendly vibes which is rarely the case in other more humble style indian restaurants. I would still recommend this place in vasastan!

I'll have to go back for dinner since, during lunch, the place was packed. The biryani I ordered was unlike any other biryani I've had in that it was quite sticky. It was good but better is not hard to find. My companion, a vegan/vegetarian, was surprised when her dish came with a fried egg on top. It wasn't listed in the menu. Otherwise, the food, the service and the atmosphere were pleasant. Mowgli and Musköt are closer to me, so it may be a while before I'm back. In short, the 4.1 rating I see here is accurate in my opinion.

My fav local indian/banglashi place in Stockholm. Always great food, service and atmosphere. Impressively consistent food over the years. Their terrace is cosy during summer with sun in the afternoons and if it’s cold the inside is always cosy. Can warmly recommend the palak paneer, chicken tikka, mixed grilled pakora, green chicken grill and the Chilli lamb grill.
