👍👍 Cozy little cafe in the old town. Friendly staff and a good variety of pastries and sandwiches. Can greatly recommend the green tea and the pesto and mushroom sandwich(see picture). Cute little place to sit for a sec. No toilet, prices above average. Buns aren't fenomenal. You can take out coffee and a bun for a lower price.

First customers of the morning, met with a lovely staff. We had the chance to enjoy freshly baked Cinnamon buns and actually got the "Fika" moment! Must visit cosy and comfy cafe.

Gamla Stan's usp is the fact that it is quaint and cute. And this cafe doesn't disappoint. It is tucked in the street very comfortably and had such an autumnal October feel. When we visited it was raining outside, so the warmth emanating out of the cafes door just calls you in! The decor in the display window, with the buns and autumn leaves is beautiful. Must visit in the evening, when the yellow and orange lights are most prominent. I had the hot chocolate with cream. Quite tasty, though I was expecting a more 'thick' drink. But this one was more on the milky consistency side. The amount of sugar is just perfect, not too much like the usual hot chocolate! The drinks could have been warmer, like I was expecting a scalding hot drink but instead got a warm one which I didn't need to blow over to drink.

We visited this place based on the reviews as were looking for something that wouldnt be a tourist trap in the street full of the tourist traps. And were not disappointed. The place is small and usually very busy, but the guests rotated quite quickly so there was not much waiting time. We had cakes - delicious, double espresso and hot chocolate... and loved everything, the ambient and vibe of the place is very unique and one feels good there. The staff has perfect English and is polite and nice. The only con - there is no restroom, which should be a must when you run a coffee where people eat and drink. Even despite this we give the full rating of 5 stars and highly recommend!

Cute place to relax, drink some coffee and warm up when it rains outside. Amazing chai latte, very polite and friendly staff and on top of that, prices are more than affordable.

Encouraged by the sight of Swedish pastries, I went inside and was not disappointed. I drank a delicious cappuccino with oat milk and I was served very nicely. Other customers eat sweet pastries and interesting, large sandwiches at this time. I'll probably go back to try those things. See you;)

Vegan matcha tea (with Oatly of course) is really excellent. Not loaded with sugar. Service is quick (-:

I just had to go in when passing by this place. Lovely ambience, wonderful staff, good coffee. Space is a little tight though, so if you go with a big group during busy time, there may not be enough seats.

Nice place with good food. I went there for a sandwich and a small dessert. The food I got was delicious. At first I thought I was going to get a simple sandwich. But when I took the first bite, I found that it was a mixture of many delicious flavors. You think it's a rather small sandwich, but after eating it and finishing two canebulle, I felt full. The service was alright. Friendly.

Fantastic coffee and cinnamon bun! Just too crowded place with no organization. As you must order on the bar, I felt more like in some bistro, not coffee. But on the other hand, it's cosy place.

The cafe is small and there's no bathroom in it. This is probably the biggest downside. Not the best cappuccino ever, but the cozy vibe of the place paid off. The service is quick and the prices are within Swedish standards.

Stopped by for a quick quick coffee and cinnamon bun to embrace the 'fika' vibe. It's a lovely and charming cafe.

Exceptional cafe in Gamla Stan. Sandwiches were very good and plenty of options available! We got the salami, pesto, brie and the chicken, honey, walnut, apple sandwiches. They’re a good size and great for lunch! Both tasted amazing. The vanilla latte was also great, and they have plenty of drink options available. Only thing is that there’s no washroom, but the food/drinks are very well made!

It is a very nice cafe. The coffee is very good and it is bigger and cheaper than other nearby cafes. The staff is very friendly. It is a pity, this cafe has not bathroom. For that, I dont score it with five stars. The cafe is very beautiful. Chairs and couches are comfortable. The environment is enjoyable. I recommend 100% Cafe Krans. I went to there several times during my trip in Stockholm. I suggest to take a traditional Swedish bun with caramel latte.

Great sandwich portions for a breakfast. I ordered the tomato mushroom cheese sandwich. My parents enjoyed their hot chocolate and mocha too. The cozy vibe helps to get your day started. Just putting three stars cause I usually put four as my highest rating.

Went there once, and the cinnamon roll was so tasty! Then we came back the next day, and the buns were not fresh anymore. Plus I ordered “ice tea” and got water from tap with ice and 3 spoons of sirup for 50sek…..

✅Very nice place and tasty homemade food. ❌It doesn't have bathroom and if you sit down close to the door you may get cold.

The food is clearly over priced industrial food. We took sandwiches (goat cheese, nuts and honey and a bacon sandwich) there were good, but clearly not worthy. The worst part is the desserts, there tasted awful, the blueberry pie was to sweet and the blueberries didn't have a taste, and the other dessert was also to sweet and was to dry, compared to other coffee in the area, this one is blunt and tasteless. The only thing is the decorations that are nice

Ridiculously overpriced coffee. They are charging 39 kronas for a small, lukewarm cup of coffee. The server was also unfriendly. Avoid

Honestly one of the best moments of my trip. I was there a little over two weeks ago and I still remember the warm and friendly welcome from the staff! we ate well, we spoke well! I recommend with eyes closed.

Super small cups of coffee and no toilet access!! The food was ok, but the sandwich was mostly a lot of bread, the cup of filter coffee was not more than 150 ml, not exactly what you expect in Sweden. It was extremely crowded, people sit very close to each other, not very comfortable. The worst thing is that there is no bathroom at all! After walking the old town streets for hours you have a break with a cup of coffee and sandwich, but you can’t use the toilet!! It was extremely disappointing and the personnel did’n even apologise for that inconvenience! How there can be a cafe with no toilet?? Would never go there again!
