On bright overcast day my visit was spent drawing in the beautiful landscaped grounds and gardens. There so much to take in and enjoy a day is not enough. The venue is yet another well looked after Northumbrian treasure.

We really enjoyed this visit. There's a huge amount of sculpture in a variety of settings - woodland, rolling fields, gardens. It took us around three hours to do, including a couple of trips to the cafe. Speaking of which, there isn't a huge amount of choice - salad and cake, basically - but what there was was very nice. It's worth noting that the toilets are portaloos, but were clean. The cafe is up some steep stairs, and not accessible. Overall, this was a good day out - helped by glorious weather - and I'd recommend it.

Had never heard of this place .. ashamed being a Northumbrian too but it was a fantastic display of a wide range of sculptures... very beautiful grounds well kept. Lovely day out. Will watch for this on future !

Had a great day at the first sculpture exhibition of the year. What a beautiful place to visit. Cheeseburn is an 800 year old house and there were some fantastic art sculptures on display. We were led around the grounds by easy to follow signposts and given a numbered map to reference the exhibits. It's only open to the public a few weekends of the year and well worth a visit.

Fascinating statue garden in superb country house location. Clever list and map offered free to guide visitors around the 50 display items some of which are prize winning installations. Most items are available for purchase with prices ranging from 10s to 1000s of pounds. Friendly staff greet you, a cafe with tabkes insude and out. No entry fee and donations requested instead. Many visitors were picnicking outside of the display area, where there is plenty of space near the car park area. You will be parking on grass. Well worth a visit!
