This is a fantastic Bunnings, especially since Oxley still hasn't opened from the floods. It has everything you need here from plants through to Christmas lights! Customer service is always the best as well. Everyone is happy and ready to help. Ample outdoor parking. There's usually sausages out the front too.

It's great to see my home Bunnings at Rocklea back after the floods. The new store layout is different to the old one, but the store looks good, with the aisles looking clean and clear of obstructions. Cheers Ken

So good to have the store open again after the flood. Great to see that the staff are still the best and friendliest of all Bunnings store. I visited the store this morning (17/06/2022) and must pay a special compliment to the young male staff member who helped me selecting landscaping stones. He really went above and beyond to assist me (I wish I had your name as would have mentioned it in this post if I did).

Crazy busy. With many needed items not stocked anymore. Bunnings has been steadily removing items from stock that it doesn't make enough profit on. I go elsewhere for items as i can't trust that Bunnings will have them in stock. Also they are definitely Not the cheapest. They're getting more and more expensive than when they first opened. NOT RECOMMENDED.

This is my local Bunnings and I find it to be a standard Bunnings experience. They usually have a good range of items with most things being in stock when I need them. They also have a good outdoor/plant section with a wide range of plants and planting equipment and accessories. I have also had dealings with the special orders desk and have found them to be professional and competent with organising the special orders. They also have the traditional weekend sausage sizzle out the front, with local community groups and charities cooking. On the weekends, it can become very busy and carparks can become scarce, so be prepared to hunt for a park from time to time. Overall, a good Bunnings.

Absolutely hopeless!!!! Ordered and paid for 5 items online.....it clearly said they had the stock. About an hour later they sent me a non reply SMS saying that they didn't have the stock. Tried ring to find out were I could get the items but after 90 minutes on hold I gave up! They have kept my payment

A big and good Bunnings. Staff can sometimes be hard to find. For me the staff are either absolute experts and very friendly, while others don't seem to be able to provide basic information. Probably a typical Bunnings.

Fantastic experience at Bunnings Rocklea! Wide range of products, from gardening to home improvement. Emily Travis I think her name was, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, providing great advice. Store was well-organised and clean, making shopping a breeze. Highly recommend!

Found it had more stock when looking online for click and collect but to have to wait till the next day to collect is ridiculous if there is only one item left in stock . So i went in straightaway and picked up the last one . . Cause i know what would happen is thsy wouldnt take it off the shelf untill end of day and someone could of bought the last one and then i go to pick up next moroning and it would be oh sorry we sold it youll have to buy the more expensive one. Retail is getting very cheeky.

(worth a read) I walked almost the whole shop twice to find 98c buckets because my roof was leaking yesterday. After asking 3 staff to help me a lovely lady searched for me and I was told there where 600+ in stock. Unfortunately I couldn't wait any longer so I told front staff I'd be back tommorow. I came back today and looked again. I asked 2 staff members if they knew where they where. Nope, so I kept walking around. I finally went to a lady at the register and she got someone to help. This lady was lovely and told me yet again there is/Was some in isle 46 on the back wall. I told her there was not but she insisted so I went back to check. As all the buckets where everywhere and even in the middle of the floor I took 5 up... To the same lady at the register I previously asked. I put them up and asked if she could check if they where them. She abruptly replied Nope that's not them. I said to her well can U please ask someone that will help me actually find them... She told me too look again in a very rude tone.... so I told her I wasn't going to run around the store for no reason and that I actually needed help. She replied with "I'm not giving these to U at 98c" I told her I didn't want them but that I wanted help. She rudely banged the buckets down and turned her back. I walked over to the customer service desk and asked for manager. The manager came and I expressed to him what had happened and that the cashier was abrupt and rude. He was absolutely so lovely, kind and Curt. He told me I could take the more expensive buckets for free because of the mix up, however I was happy to pay for them and I did. He was lovely and a good manager excusing her abhorrent behaviour. But she made it worse as I was paying for the buckets, she decided to come over and yell out to him" you could have taken these" as she banged them in the trolley behind us. I later found out her name is Karen (no pun intended) and is the store supervisor ;( this is sad. The moral of the story is..... it works in your favour to be kind to customers. I had 5 children with me and IV just had an operation... I didn't need this drama, I needed help and the manager did just that. Thank you x

My Family has been going to Bunnings Rocklea for many years and have found all the staff there to be very professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. Nothing seems to be too hard for them and if one of them cannot help you they will find someone who can. I have spent significant time in this store recently and needed guidance which was provided by one of the guys there. I would like to commend a particular staff member called Joanna. She has been exceptional each time I have asked assistance which enabled me able to complete my purchase in quick time. Thank you.

They are supposed to open at 6am, I’ve been calling for over an hour (now 7.20am) and nobody’s picking up. What a joke! More importantly what a waste of an hour😡

Brilliant Bunnings! Wide variety of products and staff are always helpful. Amazing plant section. Parking is busy during peak hour, but that’s to be expected. Plenty of parks available.

I ask help to get right Gasket or Washer for plumbing for my aquarium and staff at Plumbing says this isn’t aquarium shop!! What a answer!! Well aquarium need plumbing. He didn’t even bother to understand.

Standard Bunnings and which has heaps of different items to cater for pretty much almost everything possible so that they can squeeze every other small time business out of business and hold a monopoly on hardware, landscape, plant, plumbing, building, tool etc etc market. They even have pet stuff, outdoor furniture, BBQs, smokers and accessories. The staff are quite attentive for a Bunnings. It's convenient but it's also a monopoly that needs to be broken.

Not the same since opening after the 2022 flood. With Oxley still closed and Rocklea understaffed, it's more difficult than ever to get service. It doesn't help to often find more items out of stock. I now prefer Bunnings Newstead - it's a much better store and a superior shopping experience.

I visit this store frequently. Closed to home. Their is huge and I'm always able to find what I need. The layout and signage is very good. If I do need help; there is always a staff member ready to lend a hand. Nothing is too much trouble. I enjoy going there because of the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The shop assistants were great. They promptly acquired a lift and got my item safely from the top shelf

I'm always amazed at how well the staff at bunnings know where everything is. Also everyone is so polite and helpful. Even in the garden section you can ask just about anything regarding plants and get a correct answer, usually in great detail of how to look after the plants, where best to place them etc. Just a wonderful place to shop.

A HUGE shout out to Stephan for their personable and professional work ethic. He was knowledgeable, funny and went above and beyond trying to help me find what I was looking for ~ so far as to purchase WAY more than I attended too due to his hard work and infectious positivity. Thanks again Stephan, you’re a legend!

The staff here are great and helped me find a few items that I couldn't manage to find myself

Came in to buy paint this morning and would like to commend Kelly at the paint service desk on her outstanding customer service. She was incredibly helpful and very informed and made sure that my husband and I who were totally clueless could get everything required for our renovation. She was friendly, not at all pushy (no trying to upsell) and worked with our budget. We really appreciated all of the information she gave us and now feel confident about commencing our renovation. Thank you Kelly!

The possum wasn't very helpful with what I was looking for. Grumpy old garden gnome looking lady was very pleasant. A little too much government control though.

My regular big green shed and the best one in the area by far. It’s large with a big lumbar and garden area. Staff are always friendly and there’s some knowledgeable former tradespeople among them. Shelves well stocked. No complaints

I was in store today with my sister, and I just wanted to commend Courtney on her great service. Courtney was very approachable and more than happy to help us out. She went above and beyond my expectations. I'll definitely be back!

I purchased a new mill heater for my mother, only to discover that the plug in cord was too short for where the heater was to go, the instructions advised (strongly) not to have an extension cord. My 93 year old mother was adamant so I had to return the heater back to the store. The refund process was quick and simple, which makes me more positive about purchasing products from bunnings, knowing that if I have an issue I can return the product (as long as it is in good condition) hassle free.

I love going to Bunnings however this was the first and last time I will ever visit Bunnings Rocklea. I needed help in finding a certain part, I had looked online so I knew the approx. whereabouts. When I went into the trade section, there were 5 employees standing around having a chat, one on the register and 4 talking to her. I tried to not interrupt however I had to find this Item and asked the girl on the register as no one else wanted to help. The girl on the register pointed to an isle and that was that. When I returned she seemed to have an attitude because I had interrupted the chat with her work mates. Now there is always 2 sides to every story and the truth is somewhere in the middle. I ask that management look at the cameras, around 10:18 am today 28/10/22 in the trade section. I was wearing a light blue polo shirt, the terminal number was 24936613, the reference was 872192. You will clearly see your staff standing around, not once did they offer to help, just continued on with there chat. I have spent 20 plus years in retail, this is not how you would want your staff to act I am sure. I am not after anything, I just want you to know how your Rocklea site operates.
