    HORRIBLE service. Don’t go!! Waste time and money. It was meant to be a unlimited hotpot and BBQ. They were not willing to make sure the food being topped up on a regular basis. We went there last night, we tried to order sliced meats (pork and lamb), they were not served until 45 minutes later. And when we wanted to order, they never came again. They only wanted you to eat the cheap stuff from the self service area. Also the food in self service was not topped up. Half of the items were empty!! BBQ food is delicious. But they were only serviced very very limited. One hour before the shop closed, they were ready to clean up the shop and didn’t want to supply BBQ or topped up food. When we asked for BBQ, they tried to tell us it will be a long waiting, and tries to hint us not to order. It is a terrible and disappointing dining experience. Never go back until it is changed. Terrible!!

    Terrible service had to ring a bell at counter every time we required soup top up and they were never happy to do it. Booked for 10 people and placed on one table with a small broth pot so our soup run out very quickly. All condiments were basically empty and they didn’t top them up very often. No idea what the sauces are, seemed like the labels didn’t line up with what was actually in the bowl. Will say the charcoal bbq was good.

    Use to be one of my favourite hotpot place but won't go back again . Went in with 4 people and the whole system change . Luckily I noticed the qr code on the table to order soup base and meat . If someone is nit attentive enough they will be sitting for ages wondering why there is no staff who take the order . Qr code on table is really small and not noticeable enough . There was a robot serving food but the technology is not good enough yet . Staff have to guide the robot if there is blockage on the route to serve meat to tables, which is a waste of time when staff could be concentrating on patrons . Ordered meat dishes and was waiting for 2 hrs for it to be delivered only to be told there is no more stock after asking 4 times . Staff is at no fault but more the owner who runs the place . 5 stars for the 2 girls last night 9/7/2022 as I can see they are trying their best but with patrons to worry about plus that robot its not very efficient to run their service .

    Went today for lunch with my wife and baby boy. What can I say! This restaurant has improved 1000 times over than the old Cube. Love the fact that it is now self serve and Eddie is extremely polite and adds very good value to the business! I will definately be recommending my friends to return to The Cube! We will be back. If there was one thing I could suggest to improve on. That would be putting labels on the food so customers know exactly what each item is. 😁 either way it's still a 5 🌟 because the new Cube team ROCK!! Keep up the great work. ❤❤

    Never supply BBQ Skewer enough, boss trying to drag the supply efficiency🐌, if you are highlighted as buffet, you need to supply enough/same food as promised. I have got a run the next day also, please make sure quality of the food meet standard. Not recommend.

    Terrible experience! Used to be one of my favorite hotpot place. Soup base took almost 30 mins to arrive. Food not looking fresh with limited choice. BBQ dishes were being served one by one (people rush to take the food once it being topped up) which making no sense! Heaps of drink and rice sold out today. I won’t say that is a all you can eat restaurant. WILL NWVER COME BACK AGAIN.

    Beware if you have a child who does not eat much but is over 140 cm tall, he/she will be charged adult rate no matter the age if you are coming for buffet dinner. Had dinner here with family. It was a Thursday night so a bit quiet. There was only one person who ran the service so things was a bit slow. Food options were better than average with good selection of drinks. The adult charge for my lanky 12 years old daughter who didn't eat much killed the value of this visit however. Atmosphere is also a bit dark and gloomy for my liking.

    In this restaurant, nothing is fresh. I get food poisoning almost immediately after eating there. I received no service and paid $80 for nothing. Worst experience I've ever had. If you don't want to make any effort to think about your customers, please close the restaurant.

    If you like gambling with food poisoning and people pushing in, this is right up your alley. The selection of hotpot ingredients was limited - I think there was actually more different sauce ingredients than there were meat and veg. To top it off, the BBQ meat skewers came out sporadically, causing a feeding frenzy of other patrons rushing to get their share of ant-sized meat skewers. The cherry on top for me was the long hair I saw in the communal hotpot ingredient containers and tongs that had the same structural integrity as a piece of well cooked asparagus. Overall, an excellently average experience.

    We tried the mushroom soup & hot spicy soup and both tasted pretty good. The spicy soup was spicy but not numbing. Buffet section was fresh but not much variety as other malatang places. Dipping sauce station need more ingredients as well as proper labeling in English. Communication with staffs was not the best but he was very helpful.

    Look, all evaluation are objective, even not the best, I still rate them 4 stars in total. Just because they have done their best to cater the diners. Everything is costly but they charged just fair. The extra star is to encourage diners to give more opportunities for buffet restaurant to live on

    Soup base took forever to come out, very little/no customer service. My partner and I got food poisoning. Limited self-service food options and what they did have was empty most of the time anyway; and there was water dripping from the ceiling onto the ground with no urgency to clean it up. There’s so many better places to eat in Sunnybank

    Loved the food here, large variety of food, great meats and seafood for BBQ and hotpot, fresh and delicious fruits, amazing desserts especially loved the deep fried taro balls, friendly and helpful waiter, although he is the only waiter that I can see here on this Tuesday night, he is really doing his best, great selection of drinks as well, as I can't have drinks containing sugar, the waiter immediately recommended Pepsi Max and the other peach one. 30 something dollars for all you can eat BBQ and hotpot, drinks included, good job, the Cube! This restaurant has been one of my favourites since I moved to Brisbane about 10 years ago, then about 2 years ago, the quality of food and service here became so disappointing that we stopped coming; however, recently one of my colleagues recommended it to me and thus I decided to give it another chance and as it turns out, it has become great again! Will definitely come back and recommend to my family and friends. LOVE ❤

    Hotplate wouldn't heat up to cook food so concerned about food poisoning, and taking over half an hour to cook on the BBQ's. Waiter tried to get it to work 3 times with no result. Food selection was poor. No English speaking staff. Service was terrible. No wonder the restaurant was nearly empty. Most of the food is still frozen or soaking in water. Much better off paying for one of the other hotpots in the area that are more expensive or going to a normal restaurant. Really disappointed. Worst experience of any restaurant ever. $75 wasted.

    I was so excited to try hotpot/bbq buffet. But I was disappointed. Meat and seafood was all frozen. Blend,No flavor :( but it was good to try different soft drinks and ice teas. Waiters was quite helpful and friendly

    If I could give negative I would. service and hygiene and quality is a total joke. If you try to argue about the food quality, from waiter to manager both speak no English at all. I ate in sunny bank all the time this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been in. I end up paid for the drinks and food and leave the place without eating because it’s just disgusting!! And Manager doesn’t seem to care at all. I went there with an Aussie friend so when I made the food complaint I ask if the manager can explain in English so my friend can understand, the manager simply said he couldn’t speak English only speak Chinese. What a joke! Even as a Chinese myself I’m ashamed of Chinese people running business like this!

    For the price, its a great place. I've read other reviews, and I think it's a bit unfair. If an item was finished and needed filling, I just brought it to the attention of the staff, and it was fixed straight away. If you're only paying $30, don't expect a full seafood buffet. Some customers are so dumb and abuse the staff for no reason. Great atmosphere, staff are friendly and the choice of food is fair for the price you pay. This place is a regular for my family. Thank you all the staff🙂

    Approx. $50 per person however the refilling of the food and sauces is extremely slow. If the raw fish is finished you probably have to wait 30+min for the next refill. Need to improve food quality and speed up food refilling.

    Always disappointed. Lately every time I visit this place they always run out of rice and noodles, even if we book for 2 hours after they open. no one comes and lets you know until you wait a while and ask for what you’ve ordered. Staff isn’t very friendly any more.

    The meats come out way too slow. For cheaper items like vegies, noodles and sauce they keep it stocked in the self service area. But for meats, you have to order on your phone. We ordered 8 portion of meats but only 2 portions of meat came out. We kept on ordering but we never saw our meats. And as for bbq meats, the whole restaurant was packed but they only came out 1 plate of skewered bbq meats and people were rushing up to the bbq section as soon as they plate came out. This would be gone in a matter of seconds. Please dont advertise yourself as an all you can eat restaurant when you are clearly not. For the price you pay, not worth.
