We were invited to attend a wedding in nearby Maleny, so decided to stay in the Montville area being one of a favourite places to stay. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Misty View Cottages Montville in our search and booked the accomodation straight away. We had an amazing, peaceful, and relaxing stay. The breakfast hamper that is part of the package when staying was simply amazing and you could not want for anything else with the added bonus of being local products. The icing on the cake was the delivery of warm croissants each morning, we would wait to hear the footsteps like little children, and munch on the lovely warm croissants while preparing our breakfast. The views are wonderful and we also saw some beautiful parrots while sitting on our back porch sipping a cup of tea simply stunning. We will be back definitely be back (soon hopefully). Absolutely beautiful stay at the Savoy cottage! Wonderful host, ideal location & so quiet. The breakfast hamper was ample and the port in the room was a lovely touch. Plenty of firewood and the spa was huge with an awesome outlook. Loved it!!

Spent a weekend here in the Gatsby cabin. Absolutely blown away with the quality of the cabin the finer details within to make the stay comfy and memorable and the views were amazing. Couldn’t have asked for me really. Highly recommend it and the host Mel was awesome recommending us places for dinner etc

There is an absolute calmness and serenity at this resort. So relaxed, my husband and I enjoyed every moment of our 3day stay very much. Nothing beats the sound and the sight of nature, with birds chirping and flying around; the sight of green, lush forest; and a beautiful, just an awesome view of the mountain and lake that disappear in the early cool morning - covered in mist. It's magical! Staying in the Lalique Cottage is the Best experience we've had. I must mention - the Host greets you with a beautiful smile, makes your day. We shall return.

What a place! We stayed here over the Easter long weekend and couldn’t have been more impressed. The view was stunning, it was like we were in our own world with nobody else around. The cabin itself was beautiful with all of the little features and design ideas making all the difference. At the same time, it was very close to some great hikes and fantastic restaurants. I would highly recommend this for anyone

WOW! What a beautiful experience. Perfect for singles or couples - nature based getaway to relax and unwind in luxury! Misty View is an amazing place to stay, it's very private, peaceful and quiet. Our cottage was sent in amongst the tress with a spectacular view down to the the lake. A beautiful outlook and a great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Gatsby. We couldn't have asked for anything more in the way of service and everything was catered for. Hot croissants delivered to our door each morning, the perfect view, so peaceful and tucked away from the traffic. Thank you for making my wife's 50th weekend a very memorable one. We will definitely be back.

Very private and you didn’t see anyone from the other cabins. The rooms had a fire place and reverse aircon for warmth. Kitchen has everything plus a barbecue for cooking or restaurants were a 10 min drive.

We stayed in the Lalique cabin, it was everything we had hoped beautiful views excellent amenities, very private. We had a late check in and Shell and the team had everything ready the room was warm and inviting the complimentary Brekky hamper was delicious and we could not get enough of the fresh croissants each morning. Great destination right in the middle of all the best things Montville and Maleny area has to offer, we can’t wait for our next trip back, definitely for a longer stay next time so many things to be explored

We loved this property so much that this is our second stay here. We have stayed in the Gatsby and the Savoy cabins and both were beautiful with a magic view across the tree canopy to the dam below. Very well appointed, with everything you would need for a great romantic getaway including a log fireplace. Ample breakfast hamper is supplied with freshly warmed croissants delivered to your door each morning. Very private and secluded. Loved the wildlife that came to visit our balcony. Great location, only minutes from the centre of Montville. Thanks Shell and Tony for a wonderful stay.

The location, the service, the scenery, food supplies, and the room - all exceed our expectations. Shell baked the bread 🍞, grew the tomatoes and mushrooms, and made the jams and yoghurt for our breakfast herself - a most impressive touch. Couples only getaway - perfect if you want a private couple’s break from hustle and bustle of life.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We stayed in the Gatsby Cottage, and it had everything we needed for our stay. Upon arriving everything that we needed for breakfast was in the cottage. Fresh homemade load of bread, bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, homemade yoghurt and granola. Along with butter and spreads, milk and juice. It was amazing to not have to leave for breakfast. We purchased the additional extras for a welcome platter that was lovely to sit and enjoy the platter along with a bottle of wine (included in the platter pricing) upon check in. We also opted for a in room massage that was just lovely and would highly recommend. The beef and reef hamper we had delivered to our cottage on Saturday for dinner was also sensational. The hamper included everything we needed to enjoy a night in. Overall, our experience was 10/10 and we would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to relax and unwind for three nights.

Privacy was the key for us as it is so hard, almost impossible to find private accommodation anywhere. We were in Lalique and it feels and sounds like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. The owners have thought of everything down to the detail to make the stay so comfortable where you don’t need anything extra and have honestly gone above and beyond. I would recommend this literally over any luxury apartment or penthouse as a must.

Misty View Cottages in Montville is a first class experience! Shell & Tony are great hosts and their cottages are absolutely amazing!! Great scenery, great location, very quiet and the cottage had everything you could hope for. I have definitely found my go to place for a getaway, will be back soon. Highly recommend and 2 thumbs up!!

We stayed in Misty View's Lalique cottage, which proved the ultimate couples retreat. Spectacular views, unrivalled seclusion, and immaculately presented inside and out. We were provided with a delicious breakfast hamper, complimentary port, and had fresh croissants left on the doorstep each morning. Our hosts, Shell and Tony, were welcoming and warm, while always respecting our privacy and maintaining the secluded feel of the cottage. Lalique's private plunge pool and daybed were an ultimate bonus. No kids, no noise, and no crowded beaches or hotels. It was the perfect relaxing getaway.
