We had a dine in on 9th of Jan. Service was fast and good. But major twist came in when I ordered the chicken Biryani to my friend who was in home isolation due to covid. As the restaurant was very busy we took our order and left the restaurant without checking the food inside. I was so shocked when he sent me pic of Biryani at midnight, which had carrots and cauliflower only not a single piece of chicken. I felt so regretful, as he had to sleep empty stomach that night as the Biryani was bland and he could not have it more than a couple of spoon. I know the restaurant won't bother about these issues, but it is really a disaster for someone like me who want to take care of friend in difficult time and end up in making them sleep empty stomach.

We had amazing lunch here yesterday afternoon. We ordered the idli littles which came with Dahl and a selection of chutney, it was so comforting and hit the spot. The whole tandoori chicken was full of flavour and came on a sizzling platter. The chicken kadai was saucy which I’m not familiar with as I have ones that are slightly dry but it went down well with the butter naan and the garlic naan. The goat biriyani was really tasty. All our choices were ordered with medium heat so it was tasty and the heat did not overpower the taste of the food. I have previously eaten here a couple of times and I have not been disappointed. This is a good Indian restaurant and I highly recommend it. They have a great selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes making it great for a group of friends wanting different food choices. I will definitely be coming back.

Authentic Indian food with a good variety from both south and northern Indian cuisines. Extensive menu, and it seems like it does get pretty busy. Very casual vibe and there’s a wide range for vegetarians. Overall a nice place to go for Indian cuisine - I’ve got a friend that swears by this!

Tried the spring vegetable dosa which came with a tasty brown sauce which was nice & spicy. Loved the entree Hara Bhara kebabs were a delight. Naan bread was good. Basmati rice fluffy & separate. Lamb pepper curry was a bit chewy. Not particularly welcoming service

Best Indian I've had in a long time! I'll be going back here a lot. Authentic Indian and not just your standard run of the mill. Everything I tried was just awesome and the sauces they give you are delicious. During a busy time only took 6 minutes from ordering to meals being delivered. Fantastic!

Was here for late lunch and really enjoyed. They’re having great variety of South Indian dosas. And chutneys are so so good specially the garlic chutney is yum!! Ordered sizzler plater and got 2 varieties of paneer and 2 varieties of kebab! Must try!

I'm from Singapore and we have the best Indian restaurants serving some of the best Indian food in the world. This is probably the best Indian restaurant in Brisbane. Condiments: The 4 mini pot of condiments was done very well. Tomato chutney was spicy and had a interesting flavour to it. Dip it with your breads! We ordered: Butter Chicken - Creamy, flavourful and chicken was soft and tender. Chicken Briyani - covered with a layer of bread that was undercooked and doughy. But the chicken pieces were tender. Rice was under flavoured today, almost like a spice was missing in the equation. Palek Paneer - viscous, creamy and tasty. Crispy Dosa - we call it thosai in Singapore. This was done well. Can go lighter on the ghee Garlic Naan - it was pretty burnt. Had to remove the burnt ends, biting into the black bitter pieces was a bad experience. Kofi Staff was very polite and hospitable. We will be back with friends to try the other curries.

In a month we had dinner 2 times at this Restaurant… Butter naan, Kadai Chicken, Paneer Masala, Green Salad, Gulab Jamun everything Was very delicious.

Veg platter yummmmy. The paneers and veg cutlets, both sumptuous Their dosas are good, be it mysore or masala. Tomato uttapam was ok, not bad though. Lamb pepper fry in entree very good, liquidy so had to order tandooori roti with it, good combo. Schezhwan dosa, and spring vegetables dosa not our type. Paav bhaji dosa was not bad. Filter coffee good. Next time we tried handi paneer, too good.

Visited many times. Consistent and exceptional quality. Biriyani ~ if you are looking for biriyani , don't visit. If you want to explore the best Dosa in town, it is a must visit place.

Authentic Indian, we really love the coconut fish curry and also the dosa. The food was tasty filled with herbs and Indian spices. In addition to that the chicken briyani was well cooked with the chicken with spices. And pricing is also reasonable

I went there for a cocktail/dinner and I really liked it, I ordered tofu, naam, lamb and chicken curry, they were fresh and tasty. Standard service and smart prices. Menu with pictures will be helpful. Real indian environment. Decoration it could be improved. I'll come back.

Dosa! We had a fabullous meal here during a busy Sunday lunch service. We loved our Mysore dosa and rava dosa with onions and green chilli. These come with condiments and a sauce boat full of sambar. Even though it was super busy, we were given a table promptly and our food came out really quickly. 23 January 2022 Surprisingly good! We've driven past this restaurant on a number of occasions and it's always packed full of Indian diners. We'd avoided going previously because it's a chain restaurant, however we were in the area and it was dinner time so we relented. It was a surprisingly good experience. There was a extensive selection of dosas and South Indian food on the menu. We selected a Mysore dosa which came with condiments and a sauce boat full of sambar (light vegetable curry), paneer methi (Indian cottage cheese with fenugreek and garlic) and a lamb rogan josh. The food was terrific and we thoroughly enjoyed it. BYO is a plus. This is a good option for Indian food - and if you are a vegetarian there are plenty of options for you to choose from!

Popular restaurant on a Monday night for both Indian and non-Indian diners. Service is good. Curries were tasty. No beef dishes. The Cheese Garlic Nann was disappointing.. Modern restaurant with dining inside or alfresco. Some traffic noise comes from Ipswich Rd 4 meters away.

First thing you notice walking in is how clean the venue is. Service was great, waitor explained items thoroughly and food was flavoursome. Best part was the pots were filled with meat, between 2 we ended up having to take away, only to continue enjoying later!

Abysmal. Food tasted of raw oil. It was cold. Service was delayed and served with unnecessary sass. Does not live up to their Indian standards.

Was very excited to try this restaurant however left disappointed. The veg biryani had no flavour or salt and paneer tikka masala had no flavour either. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the cheese and garlic naan and the mango lassi.

Best dosa, and consistent taste always. Been there multiple times now, Dosa is always good but the restaurant does lack customer service. Either one of the person in the group will have food pretty late or there will be some issue in bring out the correct order.

I love your food and have previously enjoyed eating in, but had a very disappointing delivery: your containers were not wrapped (as other places usually do) and secured for delivery correctly, and this resulted in our delivery driver losing half of our meal on our driveway as he lifted it. DoorDash refunded the missing portion promptly, but tonight we’re left hungry. Please do better with your delivery packaging. I hope to enjoy your delicious food again soon.

We are new to Brisbane and have been looking for a good Indian restaurant. We ordered takeout from Sankalp this afternoon. We are truly satisfied with the quality, taste and the quantity of the food. We ordered a chicken biriyani and an idli set ( which comes with 2 little vadas). The biriyani was so flavourful and had plenty of chicken in it. It had pappadum and raita for sides. Even the idli set was good, tasted very fresh. Overall, we are very satisfied with Sankalp. One of the best biriyani in Brisbane, I’d say.

Hi was recommended from a Indian friend as he said this is the closest he has had to authentic Indian in Brisbane I now am going to be a regular from now on. I've tried many places from New Zealand to Australia and this is where it's at for taste and good ppl. Must try

Got to come here for a family members birthday dinner reservations and it was SO GOOD! I can't wait to come back! Definitely my new favourite place for authentic dishes! And great service also! The staff were really attentive and happy to accommodate a table of 14.

Excellent Indian food, popular for south indian dishes. Mostly crowded on weekend and reservation is advisable in case you are planning to go on weekends. Taste and quality of food is good.

Friendly staff, Delicious and you can choose the level of spiciness of your food, I recommend the spinach lamb curry

We ordered takeaways via DoorDash. The food was delicious but unfortunately one of the items was not what we ordered. We ordered 2 chicken tikka masala and they couldn’t be further apart. One was delicious and the other was sickly sweet, tasted like mango chicken but there is no mango chicken on the menu so no idea what it is!

One of the best Indian restaurants that I’ve been to. The food tasted delicious and was full of flavours. The place is very busy as expected but thankfully online reservations were taken well care of. Staff members were amazing and served us with great patience and humbleness. The wait was bit longer than usual but I guess the customers outnumbering explains all. The sitting arrangements inside and outside were bonus. I really enjoyed the food and will keep visiting this place. Thank you for your wonderful service!!

Disgusting experience I never had this experience in place I went so many times but today I was take way otherwise throw ur face this food it will not cook and not cut because i understand some times spice and sometimes not good but this is not even cook not even cut in pieces. so what I can eat this maybe u guys should need a break I think chef or cooks need training u should act fast and place environment maybe busy I don’t know I spend 4 items 1 is bullet non 2. Kozhi sukha 3. Fish amaitsari 4. There are levels to Indian food and curries and this is definitely one of the best Indian food my partner and I have had in Brisbane. Could fault any of the food and everything was PACKED with FLAVOUR and SPICES. Will definitely be a returning customer for a long time! 10/10

Love the food over here, i have my favourites in their menu. Have brought many friends along with me, who have also liked the food here. It gets busy on weekends, so you need to reserve a table and the service can get a bit slow due to volume of customers.

I've been to alot of Indian restaurants and this stood out. Service excellent. Rapid. Food was brilliant. The cheese and garlic naan was fresh and tasty. Curry's were lovely. Mango lassi was made to perfection. Had lamb madras and butter chicken. Latcha paratha also. Paneer tikka and chicken tikka for starters.

Very nice food with friendly staff. Lovely to see the restaurant full of happy Indian families enjoying themselves. The decor is okay, could be improved for more ambience. Definitely aimed towards family dinning. I find it funny that the staff would ask the level of spice you prefer, “Indian or Australian”?

We order 2 mild foods but there were too spicy and we only test it and couldn't eat at all. Finally, they bring sweet meal. Anyway the cost of the food were too much!!! $70 for nothing!

My favourite indian restaurant. Their sambar is yum. And dont miss the sizzling brown for dessert. Brownie has a very rich flavour with walnuts in it. Good variety of dosa. Staff is also really good at customer service. Great ambiance!

Food to die for. One of the best restaurants in Brisbane cooking and serving authentic Indian food from a wide variety of Northern and Southern cuisine. Customer service is commendable.

Everyone from my party enjoyed so much of Southern and Northern Indian cuisine here. All other customers except our table in the restaurant were Indians. They do BYO for $2 per person and provided ice bucket for a white wine we brought. Slightly pricey but we'd definitely be back for the great food and attentive service.

After being disappointed with “unchewable” Goat curries at multiple India restaurants in Brisbane, ordered Goat Handi at Sankalp after reading the reviews. To my surprise, the meat was well cooked and the curry was delicious. Excellent stuff! Hope they maintain the quality.

My first visit to the restaurant. My friend and I didn't have to wait for long before being allocated a table as we had an online booking. The staff was very courteous. We ordered the following items to begin with: 1. Medu vada 2. Non-veg platter Both the items were extremely great and enjoyable. The medu vada came with 4 different chutneys and we liked it. The non-veg platter came with the mint chutney and was equally tasty. For the main course we went for the lamb biryani and a bit disappointed with it. Though the portion was pretty large and came with papad and raita, the taste has a huge scope for improvement. Overall a good experience. We will definitely visit again but not have the biryani.
