We ordered the nigiri and we were very disappointed. The cut of the fish weren’t proportion, the salmon was very thin and tuna was thick. The rice was too much, it can’t even be considered as one bite. The sushi rolls we ordered had too much sauce on it and it overpowers the flavour of the filling of the sushi. I would rather go to a generic sushi train than come back here.

Pork Bento box was great. Lotus root chips were good. Udon noodles were good too. Warm hearty meal. Good prices for lunch menu.

This is our go-to family restaurant in the area. They treat us like family and our kids Iove the food. Eating in is always relaxing with super friendly staff. I always order the agedashi Tofu and chef makes it gluten- free for me. We’ve been regulars over past couple of years with the consistency and quality of food is always 10/10.

Ordered the sushi platter for delivery and it was absolutely delicious. Probably the best Sushi I ever experienced around the Brisbane area.

I had my 17th birthday party here and it was an incredible experience. The food is absolutely amazing and arrived within 10 minutes despite having 9 people at the table. The service is lovely. We were even given mochi ice cream on the house after our meals! Highly recommend and will be coming back.

Delish! I have lived in the area for a while and hadn’t visited Dami because sometimes the parking can be a little tricky along the main road, but visited today. The sushi was fresh and so so so tasty! The lady who served me was also friendly and kind as well. Will definitely return :)

This is by far my favourite sushi place!! They always have great service, perfect for take away or dining in. Best sushi I’ve had! My favourite is the salmon aburi. Would highly recommend!!

👍Neat little restaurant that serves delicious dishes at reasonable prices. ✨First time trying it out and was impressed that they were Koreans preparing Japanese cuisine! 🍣Everything tasted delightfully fresh especially the sushi. 🐙The takoyaki was also nicely done with good amount of crisp on the outside and inside had a quality amount of filling. 🍛The chicken Katsu had a bit too much sauce that made it overpowering of sweetness. Overall, the chicken Katsu was scrumptious 🥢Agedashi Tofu was nothing special Would still love to go back and try more of their dishes especially their teriyaki rib sizzle (La Galbi)😋

Dami has been our #1 takeaway for the past 10 years. Food is always amazing! Particularly recommend the chicken katsu and tori karaage don.

Myself and the family have come here a few times thinking the food would improve as the first time was great. We have been back a couple more times and the consistency just isn't there take away and dine in. They can't get the food order right, you pay extra for changes in the food you want. The portions are getting less than what your paying. Not too mention everytime we have dined in there is always a fly hanging around while we are eating. Not to mention we heard the microwave being used when we were the only table waiting. Seems to be lazy cooking. Sorry won't be back again. The amount of money we have paid to eat here just isn't worth it now.

way too much mayo on the chicken, and even more sauce mixed into the rice… gave me a headache unfortunately. only thing saving this place was the nice waitress. sad to see this as a representation of japanese food :(

Just located beside the street of Logan road. Right beside the BWS, so will hardly miss it. It's a small restaurant but cozy. The parking in front is only allowed for 15mins so I can just take it away. Went there around 3pm and the restaurant was quite empty. They have the lunch promotion from 12-2pm and didt have the chance to the promotion. Ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Rice and it was good. The price is pretty standard. Overall it's not a bad place to fill your hunger.

Food was very fresh and very tasty. Lots to choose from. Service was very slow this time (ok last time we went). Their friendly and happy manner made up for it though. There was no ice and it was a very hot day! It's good that you can BYO.

It used to be my go to local sushi shop. But recently quality has gone down and price has gone up. Paper thin salmon slices and 50c for a small portion of ginger. Can’t just blame it on inflation.

Once a reliable local, it must have recently changed hands, or changed cooks. They used to sell home-made Miso, now it’s instant. My meal (chicken) had an odd, bitter aftertaste and was 90% rice and 10% meat. No longer recommended. Who the hell serves instant Miso?

The environment and atmosphere in the restaurant is good, customer service is great. The food however, leaves much to be desired. Much better seasoned foods at other cheaper restaurants.

Damon is an absolute gem of a Japanese restaurant. Very unassuming and reasonable prices. The food is exceptionally good. We've tried a lot of miso soup, agedashi tofu in Brisbane and Dami has the best of each. Awesome sushi and sashimi. Highly recommended. Note that it is BYO.

Always add Damis number to my new phone. Can't live without Dami. I wonder how many people I've sent to this restaurant- It's such a fave honestly. Portions got a bit smaller over the years but still tastier and more affordable than many others places. 10/10 recommend.

Our first time here. We have Bento set and Okonomiyaki. Simple and nice food. Happy this place is run by Japanese. We’ll definitely be back.
