One of the best places to go bushwalking , bird watching and for picnics and family outings. The forest is huge with lots of easy to moderate walking tracts and trails. Plenty to see along the way including kangaroos, wallabies, lorikeets and kookaburras . Eucalyptus trees are predominantly growing in this forest with thin to thick undergrowth. Near the Acacia Ridge entrance is the Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre which was closed when we visited the place. There is a large picnic area with barbeque facilities and plenty of tables and seats. You might see wallabies here too, they seemed to appear with the smell of food. Nearby is the nature play area which is pretty cool. At the lookout, the views are fantastic. Will definitely come back to explore the other walking tracts.

Great views in this beautiful park. Lots to explore, so grab a map from the Discovery Centre as the there are enough tracks to create a very enjoyable 17km walk. Vegetation changes are really worth walking the full length of the park.

Great forest for walking. The signposting to the various tracks mentioned in the brochure are confusing and severely lacking. It doesn't matter if you have time to explore, I suppose, but hard if you're looking for something in particular!

A great place for a walk/jogging. Heard from the local said that you can see koala or kangaroo here. But I manage to see a kangaroo but they are shy. Ran away when they saw me from far away. But no luck for the koala. Guess you just have to be very very lucky. The whole park is very big. Guess you can take a day just walk inside. You can even bring your bike over there and have cycling inside. There is a parking area outside but they will close the gate at 630pm. Overall it is a good place for a walk/jogging. Fresh air and sometimes you might get lucky by seeing some koala or kangaroo.

Love the bush, walking trails are good, have also ridden bike through here good for a chill ride, sighted a few Roos. Highly recommend for a quiet walk, head space, if it wasn’t for the background noise of traffic and the occasional airplane flying over you would think you are out whoop whoop. Only recommendations is more bins about the place I did pick up some rubbish while on a walk.
