Beautiful, clean and well facilitate park for family to enjoy. It is surrounding by industrial park but it's being kept in excellent condition. Love the walk and bird watching in here. Dogs are allow, but need to be on leash at all times.

Several nice circular walks around the lake and through the bush land. Dogs are allowed on leash which is great, but caution is advised with snakes during certain seasons. Plenty of wildlife to see and great for photography. A children’s play ground is towards one side of the wetlands, and there’s a runners circuit track round the lake too.

Well maintained wetlands, good for walks around the lake and even to bring your pets. There is kids play area which is quite popular and public toilets available nearby as well. Very serene and perfect location for afternoon photoshoot for couples and families making use of the natural lighting πŸ“Έ

Good walking tracks with exercise equipment dotted along the way. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables, water fountains and grass to set up for birthday parties etc. There's a pretty decent sized playground with climbing frame and flying fox. Lots of wildlife too!

As a wetlands, this place ticks all those boxes. It's truly a beautiful serene place. My family met there for a family celebration (on a Sunday). The park and its facilities are stretched along the length of the lake/reservoir. It's a bit of a hike to get around. And in parts, you need to negotiate a slope to get to the picnic facilities. Try to find a flatter area if you have elderly people with you. There's plenty for the kids to enjoy too. There's a great playground and room to play along the green edges of the park. It's a bit remote, but this just makes it better in my opinion. Get there earlier, to get a park and snag yourself a table. Toilets are okay with enough toilet paper. Birds are everywhere! Plenty of wildlife too- I'll let you find out what and where! You really need a whole day to check everything out.

Beautiful place for a walk. The pathways are nice and flat and all paved, so ideal if you have a pram or walking frame. Wheelchair access and toilets are present. Some of the paths are quite isolated, so just like if you were going bushwalking, taking a friend is probably wise.

Excellent park with walking/cycling paths which are well maintained. Clean public amenities and BBQ and picnic tables and seats. Dogs allowed on leash, and poop bags provided for hygiene. Areas suitable for free entertainment for small and large groups alike. A great place for families and friends to enjoy the great outdoors without having to spend huge amounts of money. A interesting place for watching bird life. Good access for people with disabilities to all areas, including bush walking paths. I am not sure if there is a wheelchair accessible toilet. However, whilst none of the toilets are male/female designed, I did see rails in all the toilet cubicles. The toilets are quite low, but the rails make it easier. It may be more difficult for people with more severe disabilities.

A very beautiful walking area full of native trees, plants and wildlife. Amazing amenities and fabulous maintenance. You can visit the analysis centre or have a barbecue under sheltered picnic spots Also gym and playground equipment scattered around this wilderness area. A flying fox for endless fun and a beautiful lake. It loses a star because you're not allowed to access the water or fish. WHY??

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the wetlands. Lots of bird life to see around the various lakes. Paths are well maintained and suitable for wheelchairs or strollers if you need. Plenty of barbecues and tables as well as spots for kids to play. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a lead.

I had a lovely afternoon walk with my Dad and little sister, we walked through the bush and picked up bottles and cans to later drop off at the Heathwood Swap Save Recycling, and I also had a lovely day with my family at the Home school group on Friday every week and yesterday we had the activity as decorating pots with mosaic tiles and glue and groutπŸŒ„

Good place for walk but the lake is a bit dirty. Suggest using Mosquito repellent, otherwise you will get bite for sure.

Great nature walks around the lake. However the bird hide is a disgrace, with mature trees now growing in front of the viewing area - for how many decades has this important bit of infrastructure been neglected?

Lovely hidden park with ample play area for little ones & a peaceful nature walk through the wetlands. Only downfall was the toilets all being out of order, utilised the grand plaza ones instead which I prefer anyway πŸ˜…

Great walking path, circular, the dogs were all worn out by the time we got around.

Great place to take the kids. Plenty of space to run around safely and a good range of play equipment. Only downside was we had to clean up our table where there had been a party the night before (lots of cans, broken bottles, cigarette ends, a fireplace, and heaps of takeaway trash).

Great place for cycling and for family activities . Photo shows where I left my keys in my car whilst cycling. The area seems to be very safe.

Sadly this place seems to have been neglected recently. Admittedly, I don't come here very often, but the last time we came the facilities were a lot cleaner and well maintained. The pictures were also missing from the information area, hopefully they'll be back soon. Still a lovely walk but hopefully things will be cleaned up soon.

Can be a bit noisy but lovely areas near the water to sit and bird watch. We saw lots of azure kingfishers today and verigated fairy wrens, too cute as well as many water birds including pelicans and Ospreys soaring. Enjoy!

We do the 5km Park run every other day. It's a great spot in the middle of suburbia.

Great outing for dogs. If you know the place well, you will find a few tracks that go to the water. The circuit is 3km in total. It's also good for taking children for bike/scooter rides. An easy route for beginners.
