My first visit to the practice. The staff were lovely. They advised me well in advance what the fees would be. So no shocks there. I was seen bang on time, Dr was just brilliant as was the visiting Oversease Dr. Due to go back in December this year. I don't doubt I will get the same respect and treatment. Fees were explained again. Keep doing what you are doing.

A massive thank you to Dr Jason Papacostas and his professional team, I'm pain free after months of chronic sciatica due to a herniated disc. From my first consult to surgery in within two weeks, and post op so far I've never felt in more professional hands. Dr Jason is confident in his experience, yet very consultative and listened to my own history, providing me with the facts of all options available to me. Surgery was a choice, not pushed and I chose surgery in my own personal circumstances. Before surgery, I had a call from every professional that would be assisting me, including nurses, physio and anaesthesist. I felt amazing immediately following surgery, and now on day 2 with a clear road to full recovery ahead of me I'm very confident Dr Jason and his extended team will be guiding me along the way.

Agree with a number of other reviews. The practice managers, Karen & Joan, are awful. Just awful. It's a combination of neither being the brightest bulbs on the christmas tree, along with the power trip their position gives them. To them - clinicians & other employees in their practice are worthy of respect; everyone else (aka patients) are beneath them. If you step out of line you'll receive an absolute walloping; because, as mentioned, we patients are mere delinquents.

I've been coming here annually for the last few years and recently had brain surgery with James Bowman and Martin Wood, who were both wonderful. The administrative staff are fantastic and very accommodating. I don't want to ever have to return here :), but I'd totally recommend anyone to BCNC, if needed.

I found the whole experience dealing with this practice excellent from beginning to end. The admin staff were professional, friendly and accommodating, the neurologist was brilliant. Warm, caring, knowledgeable and very professional. Yes, it was expensive, but you know that it is worth it.

I have been in excruciating agony for over 12 months. Four hour round trip and $300 later, Specialist advised to avoid doing the things that triggered the pain. Which in my case in pretty much everything including breathing! Specialist asked no medical history or family history questions, and dismissed concerns out of hand.

Dr. Amato and Dr. Bowmen were amazing surgeons. They completed a huge complicated brain tumour removal, explained the procedure very well, had great bed side manner during my recovery and really cared about where I was functionally as an individual. I felt like they wanted the best outcomes for me and worked hard to make sure they made the right decisions for that purpose. I am very grateful to their professionalism and care. The office staff and nurses are also extremely helpful and caring.

I saw Dr Tony Tsahtsarlis and after the whole experience I would have been better off going to a vet for my back pain. Don't bother, finding a better option wouldn't be hard.

If I could swear in a review I would, but my brother is dead at 31 because this clinic failed him big time. I am furious with this clinic and in particular Dr Amato I have lost all faith in our health care. Amato to you; you completely misdiagnosed my brother, no follow up, nothing. I AM FURIOUS I AM SO FN MAD. Goes to show healthcare is all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Dr Papacostas completely misdiagnosed me and caused me three extra months of pain and loss of mobility. Thankfully I got a second opinion and have just had surgery to correct a prolapsed disc. The pain has now gone, and I have regained all function in my leg. My main grip with him is that he did not listen to my concerns on the follow-up appointment which was by phone. He just dismissed them out of hand and told me the problem was being caused by arthritis and to seek pain management. If he had reviewed the MRI (which I doubt) he would have seen the prolapsed disc which was quickly picked up by the second neurosurgeon who was looking at the same MRI. My message to him is to listen to what the patient is telling you

After being mucked about for a year by a south side hospital my Dr Rory Melville referred me to Dr Damian Amato at The Brisbane Clinical Neuroscience Centre. I found Dr Amato to be extremely professional however he is down to earth and has a very kind and caring nature, he explained everything to me but also listened to what I had to say. I was given a diagnosis and treatment plan on the day I visited Damian. I HIGHLY RECOMEND DR DAMIAN AMATO, having an operation is stressful in it self, yet as I suffer with complex mental health issues Dr Amato took that into consideration and made me feel at easy. From the first day I meet the reception staff at the clinic I found they where extremely professional, caring and very helpful in every aspect along with Dr Amato's surgical team. The nurses and staff that attended to my care after the operation I also found to be very professional and caring. The Brisbane Clinical Neuroscience Centre is the best place to go for Neurological problems both the staff and doctors are extremely professional, caring and listen to what you have to say. They do not stuff you about. I have no hesitation to gain help from Dr Damian Amato in the future.

A very big thankyou to Dr Anthony Chau, the nursing and reception staff and all other members of this practice for their caring manner, professionalism, and dedication to providing the best possible outcome for their patients. I have recently had a couple of surgical procedures which are proving successful but still have a way to go. I couldn't be in better hands. Thankyou to you all.

What a wonderful experience I had with the team at the BCNC clinic, from the reception staff to Dr Jardim herself it was an all round positive experience. Dr Jardim put me at ease instantly when explaining the procedure for my discectomy. She was professional, empathetic and personable. I am one day post op and feeling 98% pain free, which is the best I have felt in months. If you are looking for a spine specialist I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Jardim and her team.

Exceptional service from start to finish, Eboni was extremely helpful & I could not commend her customer service highly enough. Sue was so understanding and compassionate, I really appreciated the help. Every administrative member I dealt with was wonderful so thank you. Dr Tony Tsahtsarlis was clear with possible outcomes, supportive of a proactive approach and extremely professional to deal with. I could not recommend him any higher. Thank you!!

It's been 6 weeks since I underwent a microdisectomy by Dr Antonio Tsahtsarlis and his wonderful team. I was immediately relieved of sciatic nerve pain and was astounded at how pain-free the surgical site was. The service I received during my overnight stay would outclass many hotels, especially the Room Service menu. My back now appears to be healing nicely thanks to the hands of Dr Tsahtsarlis, and I can't thank him enough.

BCNC has been very professional and taken great care with their service's to both my husband and myself. I recently have been seeing Dr Amato who performed a spinal fusion on me, and it was nothing but a good experience. Dr Amato has a great bed side manner, explains everything well, and great post operative care. I had no hesitations deciding to go forth with a second fusion required. Thank you BCNC, Dr Campbell, and Dr Woods, but most of all thank you Dr Amato - you are a champion.

I saw Dr Campbell regarding back/nerve pain and was very happy with the overall experience. I was able to get an appointment quickly and surgery soon after. Dr Campbell was very thorough and his communication was direct and honest. The surgery went very well and I am happy with the outcome.
