First visit today. We were told to try Bluenose Betty by a friend she said you can take your friendly and behaved dog into the outdoor lounge area. It's a great venue, staff are friendly, There is a great atmosphere. It want busy this afternoon staff had a minute to bring a water dish for our dog. Today( Friday) special for lunch is Big Schnitzel Day. Awesome $20 is great value. It's Quiet and peaceful our new best adventure.

Dropped in for the first time today for a late lunch. At first I thought they made a mistake cause it was so cheap. We were told to expect a 30 minute wait for the food but it was actually served in less time than indicated! With the kitchen and front of house struggling with a lack of staff and I must say that the food that came out was beautiful, fresh, and tasted fantastic. I couldn't help myself and had to compliment the staff and kitchen for looking after us the way they did. I will definitely go back! Sorry I didn't take photos of the food but I can say the Wagyu cheeseburger with bacon is well worth a try! Edit- came back for a second helping for Easter Monday and it was just as good as last time. Love a consistent kitchen. Remembered the photos this time!!

Perfect place for date night! It is a gorgeous little hidden gem in Sandgate. The food and cocktails are delicious, I will certainly be back again soon. I would recommend taking a designated driver because there are too many cocktails I'm still eager to try!

A top Saturday night out! Wines, pizza, nachos, Black Hops Pale Ales and Fireball Whiskey 'n Ginger Beer... so good. Bar service was excellent, they were lovely and extremely helpful. The food service was not too bad, it's their first Saturday night so maybe they could be slightly more efficient here but seriously it was better than half the established places I've been too anyway and they are only going to get better. We'll be back, maybe in a few Sundays for their $15 Sunday burger specials! See you next time guys and welcome to the neighbourhood!

This place is normally great but we’ve had two odd experiences two days in a row. Last night we ordered a burger and it was 20 minutes to cook and there was no one else ordering. The place was virtually empty. Tonight my partner popped in to try the fish taco special and he said it was disappointing. The bar staff also did not charge him the locals special price and when my partner pointed out that it was the time of day for the special the bar staff replied “oh yeah” and did not refund the over charged amount. He won’t be coming back.

Went here on a recommendation from another local and I have to say this is fancier than I expected from Sandgate haha. Plenty of menu options and not a bad a single meal was disappointing tonight! All delicious, and generous portions :)

Great friendly atmosphere, Very, very good selection of drinks & cocktails. The food was excellent & we had a great night. Thanks to all the staff, we will certainly be back soon. The only negative is the length of time it takes to get a cocktail. Could probably use more bar staff.

Went on the night with wings and it was pretty tasty. Staff and service was pretty good. Will have to go again on a different night. Appreciate specials on different nights! Thanks.

Great place for a drink.... Don't order food, honestly not worth it. Time for a new menu and for the kitchen to lift their game. "Charcoal" popcorn chicken tacos - horrible. Fish Tacos, lacking flavour. Margherita Pizza, very average.

A good hidden treasure in Sandgate. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is plentiful, yummy and decently priced. Would definitely recommend & return.

Paid about $21 just for the burger, and had to pay an extra $5 for chips, and $3 for a very small pot of mushroom gravy, however, the food was great. Cocktail range is great too, my partner ask the bar staff to make me a surprise cocktail, and they did it! Atmosphere ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Great little space. Very intimate. Overall ❤️❤️❤️❤️🩶 Great little place!

I recently visited Bluenose Betty and was blown away by the selection of cocktails and the delicious food. The bartenders were knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. They have a wide range of signature cocktails and I particularly enjoyed their fluff head, which was expertly crafted. The food menu is also quite diverse and offers something for everyone. We tried a number of things and it was all absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend checking out this spot for a fun and tasty experience, whether you're in the mood for a casual dinner or a night of drinks with friends listening to some acoustic music.

Lovely clean establishment with friendly and helpful staff. Popular at weekends, but large enough to drop in without a booking for a bite to eat or down an ice cold drink or two. But it is best not to chance it and make a booking for three or more people. There's plenty on the menu to please any fussy eaters, all reasonably priced. Having said that, as a frequent visitor, it would be nice to see some new items added to the menu. When last there on a Sunday afternoon, there was live music.

Wow, this place is perfect for a night out with friends or your partner & kids. The atmosphere is electric the food is awesome & we only got the toasted bread & dips, will be back for more. Drinks are really good. Bar staff know what they're doing, friendly & knowledgeable.

Omg I am so impressed with my meal and I'm pretty fussy when it comes to food. The mushrooms were cooked really well, the calamari portion was a decent size and everything was so tasty. Well impressed Cheers.

Great place for dinner, amazing chicken schnitzel, very large portion, fries were perfect, lasagne also amazing. We "sampled" many of the cocktails, couldn't fault them. Great atmosphere and great, friendly service from the staff

Great service all round, place is decorated well, food is superb plenty of options for everyone (V, VG, GF). Highly recommend checking this one out on next date night. Live music would be cool here out the back.

Had a great time here having afternoon drinks with friends for a birthday celebration. Great atmosphere, good staff and great food. There is a really nice feel to this 100 year old building, with old roof beams and struts above our heads, lots of room inside, a courtyard out the back and a generally good atmosphere. Hubby and I enjoyed the fabulous halloumi bites, chicken popcorn and sweet potato fries. Wonderfully crispy on the outside, tender on the inside - the food, not us:-) The halloumi was particularly good - airy and crispy and tasty. Well worth the drive out from inner Brissie.
