It's good to see EV chargers being installed in shopping centres, and this one is well located, under cover, and near the entrance, not an afterthought at the far end of the car park. The big negative is having to download an app and open an account before using it. I don't need to give Ampol my financial details to buy petrol at their stations, just tap the card, so why do I have to when buying electricity? It's a real inconvenience.

The worst experience I've ever had, registered with an android phone and the network is unresponsive to take my card. Did it with iphone instead, and then after getting a account it still can't scan it with my card. Keeps telling me I need an Chargepoint account which I just did!

Yes it is in the Blue Carpark but the Winstanley Street access is closed. You can only access it via the Aldi ramp off Creek Street. Also you will need your own conversion cable if you are a Kia EV. It always seems a great hassle everywhere you go.

Tried to set up an account weeks ago and it would not accept credit card. I visited Carindale last week and noticed all these Teslas charging. Do Tesla and Chargepoint have an understanding? Now I have just read that Chargepoint are pulling our of Australia May 2023! That would explain why the website is inaccessible.

Couldn't download app, could not disconnect from charger, can find nothing on -chargepoint+, am I missing something? twice i have visited and no communication etc, are they set up to work, what is the issue ?
