Went there the other day, pretty good! The foods were great! We got burgers and pizzas and they were massive. Great feed! The Cowboys game was playing on the T.Vs and we all had a great time! Highly reccomended!

Excellent customer service. Came here when the kitchen wasn’t open and was really fancying a burger. Management kindly offered to cook for us and it was amazing. Without a doubt the best burger we ever had, fresh, juicy and really filling, hard to fit in the yummy chips. Definately coming back

Tiny little bistro tucked at one end of the bar but the food was superb! If you think you've had the best hot chips bit you've not been to the Oxley Tavern, you have NOT had the best hot chips!! Limited menu, but with something for everyone.

Ordered from Bob's Diner last night on UberEats and after my driver didn't collect my order, the team at Bob's Diner went above and beyond to make sure I received my food. They recooked my order to make sure it was fresh and sent one of their team to deliver it. Thank you so much to the team for your quick response and service! Burger was delicious too

5 stars is just not enough for the level of service i received. Staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our visit to the pub. I must commend Jeremy, Jayden and Hayley on their efforts in customer service and their ability to make everyone smile. Cant wait to return again

Great pub with good burgers and a brand new gaming room. Kids loved the bobs classic burger. I had the steak (cooked perfectly) and hubby had the lamb shanks - super tender. Had a cheeky slap in the new gaming room. Jaimie the gaming manager even made me a free espresso coffee! Great night out

A lovely local pub that we frequently visit everytime we are craving delicious but affordable steaks. If you want a decent steak for less than $30, then you'll love Oxley Tavern's rump steak. I've probably tried it 4-5 times now and have not been disappointed once. It used to be $24 a few months ago, but has now increased to $28 which sucks but understandable considering the circumstances. Thankfully the quality is still great - side of chips is generous and really good chips too (crispy and well seasoned!). I usually get a side of salad too but forgot too this time. You can get a cheeky schooner of XXXX Gold for $6 too. Considering that most of the more popular steak houses (Morrison Hotel, Breakfast Creek Hotel, etc) serve $50 min. steaks, this place does it better and cheaper. We've also tried the buffalo wings, onion rings and poutine fries previously too - all were delicious and came in decent portion sizes 👍 If you're looking for a delicious pub meal for a good price then definitely worth trying Oxley Tavern.

Amazing pub for a for drinks and a catch up, loved the interior and atmosphere of the place. Friendly staff and the food was delicious! Couldn't recommend this place enough, definitely check it out if you're in the Oxley area !

Great local venue awesome food happy helpful staff. Great place to catch up with friends family have a bite to eat or watch sport and have a few drinks. New pokie room is amazing to. Advise all locals to get down and check it out. Wont be disappointed

Took my grandma out for lunch yesterday was greeted by one of the managers Pawan. He was very friendly and looked happy to be there the whole time we were there which is very hard to find in hospitality. The Bob's burger was great and my grandma loved her meal. We can't wait to come back.

Was very happy had my sisters 21st here all the staff was very friendly and greeted us. Had a very memorable time. They even did a special order of crumb steak just for the birthday girl as it's not on the menu anymore.

Partner and I came here for the first time the food was unreal. I had the best steak I've ever had and my partners parmy was amazing. Definitely will be back again!!!

Stopped by yesterday for a quick impromptu lunch and was so happy with this absolute gem of a pub. Had the 400g rump which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the pepper sauce was one of the best I’ve had! Bree and Linda are names to be remembered there and were so welcoming and attentive to me. A must go place for everyone 😊

Attended with our family including 2 teens with ASD. Staff were so incredibly thoughtful and made sure we were looked after. The food was great! 2 perfect medium steaks and a stack of ribs that just fell off the bone. My son had a pizza which he loved too. For a family meal out it was clean, safe and affordable. Will be returning for sure!

Amazing customer service!! My steak wasn’t cooked the way I wanted, so the waiter/manager offered me a new piece of steak, actually a bigger piece than what I ordered and a complimentary drink as well. The food was great overall and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommend and will definitely come back :)

We were absolutely blown away with the quality! Family of 4 and we ordered 2 house burgers, huge serve of chips, huge serve of wings, garlic bread and drinks total came to $60 and it was that much we had 2 take away containers full and everyone was busting buttons 🤣🤣 will definitely be back for the pulled pork burger

An absolute surprise. Bob's burgers was fantastic. We live 7 min away and didn't know they existed. Great casual spot for the whole family. Get yourself the onion rings, you won't be sorry.

Delicious meal, and great value. I ordered the 200g rump medium rare. Its not common too get a 200g steak which is cooked so perfectly, helped by a good choice of cut. It has a charred slightly smoky flavour on the outside with a melt in your mouth texture internally. The mushroom sauce has a strong mushroom flavour, chips and salad were fresh. Well done

I am yet to be disappointed in the food. Great place for a solid feed and a drink to relax after work.

I had the most pleasant lunch whilst being served by Ally. It seemed like she was the only one manning the front of house but was nonetheless incredibly attentive and super friendly! Food was alright but an easy spot for lunch on the go :)

Putrid! Flies everywhere inside. Nearly Avery vacant table, it's not whipped down. Salt, pepper, and table numbers on the seats for some reason. No cutlery, napkins, or coasters on the table. NEVER AGAIN!

First time dining here and will definitely be back. Best onion rings I’ve had in a long time. Bobs burger was also a hit. Thanks to Aly for the great service. See you again soon

Oxley Tavern provides a warm atmosphere and a diverse menu. The staff, especially Jeremy, was lovely - attentive and friendly. The food consistently hits the mark. A wonderful spot for casual gatherings or a relaxed meal.

Not a bad local pub if you're after an easy dinner or place to catch-up with friends. The food came out very quickly and the place was generally clean and tidy. Downsides though: there were very limited vegetarian options on the menu, and some of the serving sizes were quite small/lacking (eg. Not much filling on the tacos). Burgers were good. Another thing to be wary of when reading reviews as they are offering people a free drink for giving a 5 star review so the overall star rating on here might not be accurate, just something to keep in mind

The food is usually really good here. I came out and ordered ribs to takeaway. 2 full rack meals and this is what my wife and I usually order but tonight I had to order takeaway because she's pregnant and felt like their ribs with coleslaw and chips. When I got home there was no coleslaw in both meals and it was the main thing she was looking forward to. I kind of feel like when it comes to takeaway they purposely do this because you don't find out until you get home

Wanted to love it. No atmosphere at all. Waited at the sign that says ‘wait here to be seated’ for about ten minutes before going in and seeing two staff laughing and chatting behind the counter. Staff were friendly, but service was terrible. Were charged a different amount for the same drinks twice. Big, loud guys yelling and carrying on in the pokie room, making people feel uncomfortable enough to leave. Nothing done about that. Dirty glasses everywhere. Food was awful. No wonder the place was empty.

Came down the Oxley tavern yesterday & it was amazing. Food was exceptional but the stand out for me was the incredible service from the manager Pawan. Goes above and beyond and has the biggest smile! Will be back! Thank you 😊

Overall fantastic experience at the Tavern. Went a couple of nights ago to celebrate the nan’s 82nd and did not disappoint. The food (in particular the chicken parmi) was absolutely unreal i had to go for seconds. The atmosphere in general about the place made me feel like I was enjoying a nice steak and wine within the comfort of my own home. I’d like to give a special shout-out to the manager for operating the whole joint with such care and a handsome young chap behind the bar that was always keen for a chat. I believe his name was Ty (something along those lines). Overall great memories created at an amazing venue.

The first time I ate at this place, I was very disappointed with how they cooked my steak which I preferred ‘rare’ because they gave me an over cooked one. I tried again and they have been amazing with us since! Ive been to this place now multiple multiple times! They are getting so good at cooking their stakes to perfection! The service is ALWAYS amazing! The staff are are always very polite and nice. I also wanted to note that their employee DAKOTA is the absolute best! They are alwaysss making me happy when being served! ❤️

Always a great night at the Oxley. The Staff are lovely to deal with. Dakota is a delight and always goes above and behind to ensure his customers are happy and always has smile on his face.

Ordered a meat lovers pizza and the "12 hour slow cooked" brisket meal. It was rubbery and definitely not slow cooked for 12 hours and to top it off It had a long blonde hair on it! (I have black hair). They refunded me for the brisket meal and apologized but because of the hair I couldn't finish the Pizza. Wouldn't recommend this place for food! Service was amazing so that counts for something I guess.

This was amazing lunch. Their chef really knows how to pull a meal together... Beautiful humans keeping it covid safe, waiting on tables.... it is a little out of my way, but the drive will never stop from going there. I give it 5 stars.. Well done Oxley Tavern..

The bar with an identity crisis. Is it a sports bar? Is it an American burger bar? It honestly doesn’t know, but regardless, when I ordered an Uber to come to a place for dinner that advertised “Pub Grub” I was looking forward to a good feed. Pretty much the whole menu is burgers with coleslaw. Where’s the option of veggies, or salad with a meal? Why would you serve coleslaw with absolutely everything? The saving grace that got 3 stars on this review was that the chips were good 👌🏻 and the Parma was “ok”. But what’s with the tasteless diced ham on the Parma? Customer service was on point though, and I thank you for that. Safe to say I won’t be returning, as if I wanted a burger bar, I’d look for a burger bar.

Must of the these suburban Aussie taverns are exactly the same; formulaic and dull. The expensive beers are at least cold and the food's quite good

These people took my $50 and gave me no change for something that costed me $2.50. Absolute scam & Absolute money hoarders. IpI vetbvet they steal thecthe money and keep it forhfor themselves. all their reviews are done by family and friends of the staff. I came to the restaurant so many times being a local from the area and it's been great. The Bar is an absolute mess and LOVES TO STEAL customers money. Won't be returning, will be telling my friends and family to avoid this place at all costs and head down to the OX as the are FAIR, RESPONSIBLE & don't steal people's change. No thank you, next

Gave the place 3 chances. Food was awful every time. Friendly staff and cold beer but that’s easy to achieve. If you want good food I wouldn’t recommend this place.. such a shame as it’s my local but I will be going to the ox from now on.

We went for a birthday party with 20 people and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. We used our woolies staff discount cards and got 50% off the food. The meals were great sizes and tasty. It was very quiet in the tavern on a Tuesday night so that was a bonus. Will definitely be back.

We got a Parmy here and it was delicious! The garlic bread was amazing! One of the best parmys I’ve ever had! Tasty and certainly will be back ! Staff were friendly and the food came out really quickly. Their mushroom sauce was bomb too!

Delicious pub food and friendly staff. Excessive serving also. My only quarm was that I went there as their google pic showed a tasty looking burger with a big pickle on top. I got there at 1130am very hungry and had to wait until 1200 noon for kitchen to open which wouldn't of bothered me had the kitchen times been stipulated on the website. Then after the wait to order I was advised that they no longer do the pickle. I know 1st world problem, but that's was why I went there. Update the website please. Again, great food

Cheap specials

When we got to the place I waited in line for a while to find out where I was to be seated (as we had reserved a table). When I got to the front of the line, the lady behind the counter instead of greeting me answered the phone. Eventually I asked what table we were to sit at, and the lady pointed to the dining area. So we picked a table that was empty. When I ordered I specially asked for an entre to come out first and then out mains (not rocket science). I went back to sit at our table and while we waited for our food one of the staff came over and told us that the table we were sitting at was reserved and that we shouldn't be sitting there. After waiting about an hour for our food, and watching the staff carry our burger to 3 other tables, we were finally given our main meals (no entré yet!!) After asking for the entre it was brought out to us, half way through our main meals. Not only all of this. But the little tub of gravy that came with our chips, was placed terribly on my plate causing it to fall off the plate and cause a little mess. The waitress laughed and said 'let me get you some napkins so you can clean that up.' The proceeded to hand me the napkins to clean the spill. Seriously TERRIBLE service. We will not be back.
