The lady that served / helped me was really nice and knowledgeable about fighter fish and everything so customer service was good. However the fish i purchased died the next day. I think it had something wrong with its brain because if you look in the videos attached it was acting very weird. There was also a white spot of rotting flesh on its head. Flashback to when the lady was getting my fish out of its little tank she stopped and looked at its head for a few seconds which has lead me to believe she knew something was wrong. Overall i would not recommend Pauls aquariums to anyone.

This was a great place to go for us as beginners. Helpful and friendly with a wide variety of fish, plants and accessories with plenty of advice for setting up a new tank. We'll see how our little tank goes before upgrading to something bigger but I'm sure we'll be back for more fish as we go.

Good variety of tropical fish, some of them i've never seen! Very well maintained tanks and overall one of the good store aroind for anything fish (and reptiles) I got myself a very handsome elephant ears (eventough didn't come for it!

Love the variety of fish and products their... we have three tanks plus fish now from their. Wont go anywere else, price is affordable and fish are beautiful. Highly recommend.

Nice variety of some harder to find fish, never leave empty handed when visiting Paul's!, and love the Betta set-up, it's definitely BETTA, lol

5 stars but should be 6/5 because its so awesome there! I'm new to fish keeping and the staff helped me with absolutely everything and have just been so nice, they even tested my water for me and gave me practical advice, you can tell they genuinely care about the animals they keep. Awesome place to visit just to look around, very knowledgeable staff and chill atmosphere.

The place is great! The stock is excellent, The employees are polite, useful and they treat you like family! the fish, amphibians, bugs, arachnids, mollusks and crustaceans are healthy and vibrant, even the plants are a wonder! Sure sometimes the price for certain stuff can be a little much, but that’s the way most aquariums are and it’s only a small shop (somehow)so can’t blame them. All and all, it’s a great shop and I hope one day it will be as big, popular and successful as it should be.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED If you have an aquarium please check this place out. I was looking for external filter pump, everyone told me that I should have a photo of my pump then they order from supplier. I got here told him and he had whatever I needed, all took 10 min in and out. Surprisingly price was as good as online. See you guys soon thanks heaps

Great selection of fish and plants available. Pricey but never had health issues with any fish purchased from here. Not so great if you need lots of chemicals at a reasonable price but definitely recommend getting livestock here. Grab the chemicals in bulk sizes elsewhere to save some $$ for more fish :)

The sales staff are protective of their fish, but have ZERO awareness of humans. Don't ask questions, unless you want a lecture. Don't bring your kids, they don't understand joy. They just want to lecture you about why, despite doing your research on set up, they are not going to let you take home a fish for your daughter's birthday tomorrow. Don't try to have coversation about this with your child or engage with them in their wonder at the fish, because its important you let the sales staff finish their lecture even though you've said ok. Even though you've asked for time to think. Even though you've said thank you. Sheesh. Thanks for the mansplain, would have prefered a fish 🐟

Love the store, take my Kelpie in all the time to say hi to the workers and the owner and everyone is very helpful and welcoming. Great selection of fish species in good health.

Unfortunately plenty of dead fish and dirty tanks. May have been good in the past but needs an upgrade and clean. One woman spends her whole time telling people not to look at a specific fish who is easily agitated. Would be easier to cover the fish or put up a sign. May have been in the business for a long time but seem to have forgotten how to do business. Photos not allowed so none to post

I got amazing help and they didn't make me feel like an idiot for being a beginner to owning fish. I highly recommended this place even for just having a look.

Great place to get your aquarium equipment and pet supplies I got my son some hermit crabs I had freindly service and good knowledge from Paul and staff I recommend anyone to go and check this place out and support our independent pet shops out.

Smallish store but with good selection of fish and products. Friendly staff who are patient and answer your questions.

It's OK I guess but a lot of the fish I wanted were marked display only and not for sale. Limited range with a lot of dirty or unused tanks. The shop was a lot nicer to visit in the past. Plenty of better options nearby.

Awesome experience. Contacted them on Facebook to check availability and get some advice. They responded quickly and were very helpful. Cared more about helping me instead of up selling more fish then I needed. Highly recommend flowing them on Facebook and watching their videos for good advice.

Love this place Paul himself is really knowledgeable I always resort to him when I have questions and he usually has what I need but if he doesn't he will always tell you were has that item your needing

The lady who served me (sorry I didn’t catch your name), was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was my first fish and she sorted me out with everything I needed and very detailed instructions, some of which I of course forgot as soon as I got home but she was happy to help me out again when I called up. It was also a very good price, much cheaper than the big chain stores like Petbarn plus you get to support a small business. Will definitely be back for more fish as the aquarium addiction starts. Thank you!

Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Good variety of products and an enjoyable store to browse through. They have an online store and youtube channel, so check it out if you can't make it into the shop. Highly recommended!

Most of the aquariums were either overstocked, mislabeled or filled with sick/dead fish. Most cichlids had bow belly aswell as many tanks had dead fish floating around with the live fish, would not recommend supporting a bussiness where profit clearly comes before the health of the fish

I've been going to Pauls Aquariums for years now. The staff are knowledgeable and keen to assist. When I've had an issue with my pond, they listen to my attempt to explain what's going on and then provide thorough and understandable suggestions to remedy the issue. If they don't have a fish, or a product that I'm looking for, they'll search to find one and let me know once it's in.

This is my favourite store to go to for everything fish related. I have never met friendlier, more knowledgeable staff and the prices are very reasonable. Be sure to watch Paul's videos before going to the store so you don't miss nice offers!

We bought fish, and quite a few of them didn't die. I love the YouTube videos - always good for a laugh and sometimes I even learn stuff. Bonus stars because I'm looking forward to the YouTube series on "replacing all the tanks in my shop". 7/5, very meaty and lovely.

Been going here since I was a child, my dad used to take me. Paul's an increbily knowledgeable man who wants nothing more than to share his passion with his local community. The range of products they have is spectacular and all only of quality standard. But what makes it my favourite is the range of unique fish you can't find in any other store and all so healthy and happy with so many beautiful display tanks. Paul's is worth the trip.

Mostly freshwater fish with some marine, nice little selection of reptile enclosures and accessories as well. Always good to support your local fish shop!

Really good selection of fish, the new aquascaping section is great and everything is well priced, The staff are knowledgeable about what they have and always happy to help even if you're just there to take a look.

It was pretty good. Had some cool fish, decent variety. Staff were helpful with any questions. I saw a lungfish, and a few moray eels.

Paul’s aquariums is one of my Favorite shops. I love fish. One day I bought 3 mystery snails and one was already dead. The were really nice about it and gave us another snail for free. I get lots of fish from there. Good job.

Good prices fast service

Went to go check this place out today Seen the good reviews thought id go check it out. Was chasing few things Drove 20 min what a let down no customer services what so ever walked in 2 staff members at the counter they didnt even say hello to me at all. One ended up walking past me and didnt even check to see if i wanted any help. If you want customer service this is not the place to go to. Not to mention all the fish tanks are dirty.

What can I say? Amazing service! Paul has plenty of knowledge on his stock. Loads of variety in store, plus everything looks amazing. Clean tanks and clean looking fish. This was my second visit and I'll be back again!

Bought two fish from here and they both died within a few days. One was alone in its own tank the other was in a community tank. Both tanks fully cycled. They tried to blame my water on the fish dying even though there was nothing wrong with it. The fish weren’t okay from day dot. None of my other fish were affected like they would’ve been if it was an issue with my tank. Not happy with the service and how it was handled. Offered to show them my water test or bring a water example in if they wanted to test it themselves. Wouldn’t recommend this shop.

Great aquararium shop, large range of fish, very helpful service. Large selection of aquariam and indoor/terrarium plants. Great to see bettas kept in tanks for display instead of the typical cup often seen in pet stores. I personally liked the selection and grade of cherry shrimp (red, yellow, and blue), I have also seen more rarer shrimp there occasionally. Small selection of aquariam tanks but decent price and the most common sizes. They have a lot more products such as reptile products but I dont know much about it so cannot comment.

Passion would be the one word to best describe this shop. It has a wide range of fish and animals that you just can't get anywhere else. The displays always amaze me and the staff exude enthusiasm for the products and fish they sell. Prices can be high but you'll be hard-pressed to find the variety of thier products locally.
