Restaurant

👍👍 Authentic Korean restaurant. We ordered half and half with spicy grilled pork hock and pork belly. Oyster Kimchi for sharing. The pork belly was smoky and the meat was very tender and juicy. The pork hock was also very delicious but can be too spicy if you are not into spicy food. Oyster kimchi... People often mention pork, spicy, good, hock, Korean, dishes, delicious, great, rice, belly,

Authentic Korean restaurant. We ordered half and half with spicy grilled pork hock and pork belly. Oyster Kimchi for sharing. The pork belly was smoky and the meat was very tender and juicy. The pork hock was also very delicious but can be too spicy if you are not into spicy food. Oyster kimchi was very unique, tasty and must try if you love raw oysters. The staff was attentive and helpful. The price is fair with the given portion.

Maybe you should train an employee to use a payment machine or answer a phone call clearly before putting them on the job. I ate here today and bought a $0.5 takeaway box to pack leftovers, but the waiter mistakenly charged $50. Unfortunately, I didn't find out about the bill until I got home and called them hoping they could fix it over the phone. They were so difficult to communicate on the phone that I had to drive 40 minutes back and forth to resolve the issue in person. In the end, they were only sorry for the mischarge, not my time and gas (maybe they thought I was teleported?) Be wary of eating here because obviously your feelings and your time are not as important as their money . I have recommended this restaurant to many friends, but I will not come again, and I will advise my friends not to come. You deserve this.

Would give a 5 star review a couple months ago😢love this restaurant so much that i always travel 2+ hours to get here. however, the price has increased so much and the portion is so much lesser than before. The pork belly is also really dry and not as tasty as it was. Spicy pork hock was as good as before though, and everyone should definitely have a try👍🏼

Jokbal taste has been changed.. it was so chewy and dry. Meat quality was really bad.. Couldn’t eat at all! It used to be really good. Even bibim makguksu has a lot of water.. And they changed order system.. it cost over $4 for processing fee!! Totally ripped off! I wouldn’t go back again…

This is a nice find if you’re in the mood for some Korean food. Their specialties are the pork hock, which comes in a few different styles and flavours. The 1/2 and 1/2 option is great, as you can get the best of both worlds. The grilled spicy pork hock is fantastic and not too hot, while the braised style is classic with the sauces and sides to make it your own. Team this up with a few entrees, like the braised pork belly, and you have a filling meal for 4. This is a popular spot, that can sell out of some dishes if really busy, so I would suggest to go early. The staff are super friendly, but aren’t most Koreans when there’s good food around?

Amazing Korean Jok Bal not to be missed. The portions are generous with delicious taste. I had the combination with sea snail and wheat noodles which were a perfect pairing . The oyster kimchi was fresh tasting and delicious as well. Highly recommend but it might be slightly crowded.

Their normal pork hocks are great, but the spicy pork hocks are just amazing. 🔥 smoky 🌶️ spicy ✅ savoury If you haven't tried this place yet it's definitely a must try in Brisbane. Haven't been to another Korean restaurant that specializes in pork hock and does it this well. And I don't even prefer spicy food normally.

Super busy so would recommend to come early as they don't take bookings. Menu is more suitable to be shared, not a lot of dishes and it is quite expensive - especially for the extra items Tried the braised pork, wasn't amazing and does become too much if you don't have anything accompanying it

Last friday we had a wonderful dinner as usual(3rd visit). For some reason, our bill was mixed up and we paid extra didn't realize till next day. We went back on Saturday, June helped us to sort out the bill and refunded back the difference to us. Can't compliment enough the honestly, glad we have such a great restaurant in the community. Keep up the great work guys, we sure will visit soon for the pork hock😋

If you are looking for a delicious place to eat Korean then look no further. The pork hock was tender and smoky which made the aromas amazing. Accompanied with the delicious dipping sauces make it a great experience. Come eat can guarantee you Stronach will be full on the way out.

Nangam does a few dishes amazingly well. You should definitely visit with a group so that you can try a range of dishes as the portion sizes are fairly generous.

Delicious jokbal (spicy or original) and other dishes are consistently good. Tastes great every time we come here. I have noticed the serving size has become smaller and price went up. 😬

The place was full before 5.30 pm! We were lucky to be seated 😁 All of the menu were delicious. I tried takeaway few days ago and it was yummy, but you should dine in to get the best experience! They don't take booking and there was long waiting line from 6. So if you don't like waiting, go and have early dinner!

Jokpal and the rice balls here are to DIE for. No joke so good, pricing is mega decent too Must order: - normal Jokpal - Marinated jokpal (but maybe don’t order this if you can’t handle spice LOL it’s a bit unforgiving even to asians who are spice veterans... builds up the more you eat) - seaweed balls!! The perfect compliment - oyster kimchi I found the cold noodles pre average so yeah stick to the rice balls they’re amaze

Delicious but it’s not too good value for the money😅 Like the oyster kimchi is delicious but it costs $8 with small portion… Btw, I love the steam egg👍

Had few different menus! Every dishes in here is so good! I’ve had lots of dishes before they move in to new place. Food quality is still so good. If you need any Korean food, don’t hesitate to go here. Really good. I will definitely have it again sometime soon. Rice cake was little bit spicy but good for me😋

Good food, prompt & attentive service, and busy Korean vibes. Jokbals were pretty good (original and spicy), didn't really have any flavour stands out, and portions were generally okay sized. Drink list was short but essential.

My favourite pork knuckles place. Long waiting time for ordering take away. be prepared for about 1-2 hours. Always forgot to put the rice ball in my takeaway.. other than that. Worth visiting.

We had Half & Half set with Classic Pork Hork and Pork belly for $50. Classic Pork was still nice but taste of Pork belly has changed where it was drier than previous visit. We hoped this set would be enough for two of us but it wasn't. One of us was still feeling hungry afterwards 🥲

Very quick service, friendly staff, if you like hot & spices you must come here, and for those who don't like spices, they cater for them too, pork was sooo tender, players had so much meat and great flavours, loved how you make your own rice balls, full of flavour👍👍

Authentic Korean food. Clean and I liked the dark atmosphere. Some music/TV screens with KPOP would help to make the atmosphere better. The staff girls seemed bored checking their nails and never showed a smile, this would help to make a more comfortable relaxing atmosphere.

The seaweed rice is so funny, it was already mix with the ingredients. What we need to do is just mixing it like a ball.

We love the pork hock slice, we order half spicy and half original. Meat was flavoured and cooked perfectly. Great with salad and rice. We enjoyed it

Big portion and yummy!!! Quality stay the same even shop moved!! Bigger space and good deco in the shop!

Highly recommended the Korean pork hock, especially for the spicy one, which is very tasty and the meat is soft! Also, it’s interesting that we can make the rice balls by ourselves. Will definitely come here again!

Ordered 4 dished and they were served separately. The noodle in the bibimgooksu was not its best. Definitely hasn’t been brought to boil and cooled down with cold water. Ultimately the taste of all the dishes we had today was under the expectation. The oyster was fresh though.
