This is our new favourite store and a great much needed addition to staines Town centre..... The re-vamp is fabulous and all of the staff are mega helpful. We still like physical copies of our favourite films and some music (hate having to rely on whatever platform has a certain film at a certain time)... Also you cannot beat browsing in a shop and actually holding an item in your hand, buying it and enjoying that whole shopping experience. Let's get the high street back on track and enjoy the interaction, community and social aspect of getting out and about instead of staring at our phones, clicking a button and waiting for the doorbell to ring..... it's worth the extra couple of pounds in some cases to have these shops and people employed in them! 🤗🙏❤

Went to Staines HMV on Sunday 18th December looking for Christmas gifts/ ideas.. Was pleasantly surprised!! I left with more than 1 item and I could of left with the whole store especially anime section🤭 All really friendly and helpful staff especially Ash, she asked me what I was looking for which was a great question!!! I had an idea but at the same time didn't have a clue so she helped guide me to what I was looking for and it was much appreciated 🙏 All round great store😄 Thank you!!

Love spending time in this store the vibes are always good, staff always amazing, service also so great, they even had the rare Taylor Swift cd i managed to cop. So glad hmv is back in Staines.

I love this shop. Plenty of choice for all genres of music either on CD or Vinyl. Loads of tee shirts and merchandise. Very helpful too.

I visited this branch of HMV Sunday 12th November. I was looking for a Vinyl album. I enquired at the upstairs Music counter. The young lady at the till looked up the items on her screen and proceeded to look for them. She spent a lot of time looking and I decided to help her look as well. They were very elusive. After what felt like forever but was probably about 10-15 minutes she found a copy of one of the items. It wasn't where it was meant to be and had the added difficulty of having a tiny spine that was hard to see or read. I'd like to thank her for her effort and perseverance she is a credit to your store. So thank you Jess.

I just visited the store to buy a couple CDs. My visit was miserable because of the lifeless staff that are unfortunately in the building. They are very unhappy and unhelpful. Get some staff that smile and like to help customers shop, rather than make you feel unwelcome.

Fab selection, which permitted me to own the most obscure thing I've ever 'needed' to own: I never knew I needed to hear Rick Vito, covering Jeremy Spencer's covering of Elmore James, with not only Mick Fleetwood on drums, but (captain) Kirk Hammet on lead guitar, whilst featuring Jeremy Spencer also playing.... small things...💙😜💙😜💙

An amazing shop for all your geeky needs. They didn't have pokemon cards though, which is a disappointment.

Parts of HMV are yesterday such as DVDs for movies. Parts of HMV are two such as the return of vinyl -over twice as expensive as CDs. Parts of HMV are on point such as the t shirts and how they have all sorts for what is trending, even Batman door mats.

Lots to chose from in dvds and Music. All staff friendly and very helpful.. I always call in when in Stains, as there is always something new to look at.

We stoped over near Staines-Upon-Thames so made a beeline for the shopping centre. I popped into HMV to pick up a album, great to see vinyl records making a comeback. Good selection of vinyl records.

Great atmosphere, really enjoyed spending time in a real shop, being able to see things on shelfs again!

Fighting for survival in the battle with on line shopping. HMV have everything music films games clothes collectables etc. The range in store is immense with so many bargains and cut price deals you cannot want more! So go on in you'll be surprised by their prices. Support HMV - it makes sense.

Love HMV. I still believe in buying and actually owning a movie or music. Looking forward to it coming back to Oxford. I rip my albums I buy into flac format and save them to my phone. Use Rocket Player to play them. It sounds amazing, so much better than any streaming app.
