I was about to book a room tonight until I seen the review about bedbugs. You guys kicked that person out when the bedbugs was from this hotel. And the response from the general manager was straight trash. I will not stay here!

Loud music in neighboring room after midnight. Lots of road noise throughout the night. Horrible smoke smell penetrating the room to the point it was difficult to breathe. We are awake at 3 am because of these things. Very limited items in kitchen compared to other extended stay hotels including other Towneplace Suites. We will never stay here again.

We had two rooms booked for two nights as we traveled through Dallas on a trip. We checked in after 8, only to find one of our rooms was “given away.” Soooo they put us in a room with a pull out sofa. I attempted to sleep on the sofa bed. My friend retrieved two comforters from the front desk for me to use as a mattress pad because I could feel the springs when I laid down. As if the bed wasn’t enough to keep me awake, the road noise was astronomical. There must be no insulation/sound barriers. I even slept in my AirPods and turned to position my head near the air vent to help drown out the truck noises. Not much sleep that night between the uncomfortable bed & road noise. I will say we slept by Houston Hobby Airport the night before and that hotel was quieter. Needless to say, I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. We cancelled the next night and found another hotel. I do not recommend this one!

The rooms are cozy, and clean. The housekeeping staff is just wonderful. The head housekeeper Mrs. Maria is a Godsend. She makes sure the rooms are properly serviced which isn't necessary, her team are great at doing their job, but we are thankful for her. The front desk employees are helpful and polite. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling or just want to get away for a weekend or even a month. The rooms have full kitchenettes and dishes. Anything your room is missing is usually available at the front desk. If not there is a Neighborhood WalMart literally right around the corner from the hotel. It is located in the most beautiful area of Mesquite that you could find.

Checked in at 4:30pm and was told that the deposit on the rooms went from $20 a day to $100 a day. We adjusted and paid the deposit on top of the $610 for the stay. $910 total. The total funds were holding in our bank account, unable to touch it. Which is what we were told would happen. Then we were out in the wrong room and they wouldn’t correct it. The very next afternoon, someone came to our door saying that we owed $230 dollars. I thought it was a mistake since the total amount was pending on our bank account. Sure enough, they said it was not a mistake and that we didn’t pay ANYTHING. Asked to speak to a manager and was told to come down the next morning. The next morning, I come down and was told she was in meeting all day and to meet with her the following morning. Come back to get my 1 year olds milk and special bathing soap so she could stay at her aunts house and they REFUSE to let us in our room to obtain her items. We requested to speak to a manager AGAIN seeing that it’s 4pm on a Monday. The manager, KATRINA, refused to come to the hotel. We ended up having to pay the, now $420 dollars, to get my baby’s items. We have checked out early, reported them to the BBB and have disputed all charges with the bank waiting for responses. They took $910 + $420 totally $1330. Our stay was only originally supposed to be $610 when we reserved. HORRIBLE. DON’T STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A RESOLUTION. YOU WILL NOT GET ONE AND THE MANAGERS DON’T CARE TO TRY.

Incredibly loud if your room in on the highway side. Interior of room is nice enough. Avoid staying here but if you are, try to request a non-highway room.

Zero Stars Completely. Booked This Room For A Nice Getaway And To Finally Rest. After Check In- I Received A Note Saying Water Will Be Cut Off By 10:00 Am So We Must Shower And Use Water Before Then. Not Only That About 15 Mins After Check In- The Power Had Went Out For About 5 Hours So Guest Where Sitting Outside,After Finally Getting Power And Laying Down From About Midnight To 3 In The Morning The Fire Alarms Kept Going Off- With No Apology From The Guy At Front Desk, When We Were Headed Outside He Just Threw His Hands Up And Said “ Dang Y’all, These Are False Alarms So MY BAD Y’all Keep Coming Out Here” Very Unprofessional… To Save You A Migraine And Your Money- Just Book Elsewhere.

Super noisy!! Near the highway and there’s no insulation at all. Walls are thin as paper. Feels like trucks driving right through your room. Also the room is not cleaned. Found other people’s hair in the sink.

Close to the arena. Folks very nice. Room was awesome. Very spacious. Had double burner in room unlike Home 2 Suites. I loved that. Very clean. Pool was under maintenance. Shower had two heads in it. Nice stand up shower. Very spacious bathroom. Wasn't trying to stand between mirror and commode for once. Loved this chain of hotel...

Family visits for vacation and has their stuff held hostage after already paying. They then say there is no record of the room being paid for, after showing proper documentation, and a receipt, they then demands an additional charge to get their stuff out of their room. I will never recommend this place to anyone horrible customer service, and you will pay a substantial amount more than what this area has to offer. Airbnb is much cheaper.

We loved our stay. If I could rate it higher I would the staff here was amazing. One particular staff member Jocelyn (hope I spelled it right) went above and beyond to make our stay welcome. Of course a few others also made it special. My son ended up being sick the last few days of our stay and they really cared about him and I felt like we really mattered to them. If it's a doubt in your mind to stay here please read this. It's amazing and you will love the service here. <3

Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at but room wasn’t cleaned well. There was still food in the refrigerator when I arrived. Also quite noisy at night. There is a party area right outside of the guest windows so if you’re a light sleeper good luck.

At checkin the girl was on the phone, so we had to wait. But when she had finished she seemed to take a long time to get us checked in. Before we had finished checking in she got another phone call, which she answered without hesitation. Then gave us our room keycards but didn’t bother telling us how to get to our rooms. Figured it out for ourselves. When we got to our room it was very noisy. So we phoned reception and asked if we could change to the quieter side of the building. The receptionist was quick to say no that we would be unable to change rooms. So we decided to go down and see if she could make sure this was the case. Whilst speaking to her face to face she was able to phone her manager and get our room changed. Not really happy to be told originally that we couldn’t move. Though for the rest of our stay everything was good. TownePlace Suites are always consistent for being good quality. Breakfast was good, though it did seem to finish a bit on the early side on the second morning. On the morning of our checkout we were phoned at 10am asking us if we were wanted late checkout even though checkout was 11am. Having stayed in many TownePlace Suites over the years we’ve never been pushed to checkout before. We left feeling a bit let down by the quality of their customer service.

For a room I pay nearly $200 a night to stay in and stayed 4 nights last week and on night 2 of 4 for this week I would think I could at least enjoy some television. The TV cable has been broken all last week and still this week. All I keep getting told is there is nothing we can do and we don't know if it will be fixed. The most expensive room in the area and it can't even offer the most basic of amenities. The breakfast is more basic than motel 6. There isn't even a waffle making machine much less having biscuits and gravy. Very dissatisfied. The room was decent and shower was hot. That is the only reason it got the second star.

Hotel & rooms are clean. Staff are all friendly and very accommodating. Special mention to Luis who saved my day when understood the complexity of an issue I had to deal with and jumped in to help without an issue. Thank you!

This is my “home away from home” when visiting family in the area. The staff are amazing, especially Laura in Housekeeping/Hospitality. She always has a smile and a friendly greeting. The front desk staff are also wonderful and customer service oriented. I am always happy to arrive here and sad when I leave!

Front desk employee is very rude and disrespectful and not understanding to the fact that when a customer says he needs room service he needs room service. I'm checking out on Friday and she said Friday they will do the room service that's ridiculous I'm going to the health department to make a complaint since there are cockroches in my room. If you want to waste your money and time then surely come here. As well as if you like cockroches in your room.

Untrained front desk staff, unable to take responsibility for their own mistakes!

Staff was excellent. Antoinette checked me in and she was very sweet. Michelle checked me out and was also very friendly. Breakfast was great but busy. I felt bad for them. We were here for cheer and you could tell they were busy. Great location across from our cheer group. Room was very clear and smelled great upon check in. They have the big bottles of shampoo in bathrooms which is great with girls who have long hair. I would definitely come back if I am every in the area again.

I initially liked it here very much, after my house burned down and losing absolutely everything...the people were friendly and the room was cozy. But then after a few days I realized that my room had bedbugs. I had never seen one before so at first I thought it was just something I was picking up sitting outside. After a week I realized that they were coming from the bed. It wasn't until then that I started to see the bites showing up. It has been 2 weeks and my right side is still so bad that I have to wear long sleeves and long pants in this heat. I've seen the Dr. Antibiotics and steroids can't get rid of the bite marks. They're almost all only on my right side and I was sleeping on my right side so it couldn't be anything else. The worst part is that I was moved to another room for one day but then they decided I must have brought them into that room and they need to fumigate the room I moved to. And I had to go. I have never had or even seen bedbugs in my life but I get kicked out of a hotel after getting annihilated by bedbugs when I am already displaced. It's the worst insult to injury I have ever experienced. AND it was on my birthday. And just saying about the pictures...the bug on the sheet did not come out of the burned out shell of my home.
