WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! If we could give it zero stars we would! We Came into town a day earlier then planned and this was the only hotel available. We thought it would be fun for our kids! Right when we got into our room our kids pulled back the comforter because it was super late and they were tired. They all said gross what is this??!!! My husband and I looked and there were tons of moving alive worms/bugs on top of the sheets!! We immediately left the room after taking a photo and video (wish I could upload my video here of them crawling around) GROSS! We went straight to the front desk and they said they would switch us to another room but NO WAY WERE WE STAYING HERE! It took us over 2 hours to find another hotel that had any rooms available. 😞 We asked for our money back and they said they will be refunding it. This hotel should be avoided at all cost there are much cleaner and nicer ones to stay in. We will never go back!! Not to mention it was my birthday too 😞😞

You get what you pay for I suppose. It's the cheapest major hotel/casino on the strip for good reason. The room I got was large but lacked many basic amenities such as a microwave, fridge, or even a coffee machine/kettle! The halls and room also felt old and dingy; not to mention that it was a 10 minute walk outside just to get to the main building for any amenities.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon, and actually had a really fun time. One of the employees struck up a conversation and got us a play card and we had a good time hanging out in the Midway and saw a fun little circus show. They've been renovating, and it shows. This is also the only casino I know of that still has old school slot machines that run off of actual quarters and dollar tokens! That area is a constant barrage of coins dropping and machines paying out. Also home to one of the best steakhouses in town!

This would not be my first place to stay because it is older and a little dingy but I did it for the kids and they loved it. They have two large arcade areas and what you would call a small amusement park. The park had some fun large rides but the catch was a lot weren't working and it was pretty pricey to participate. I guess if you take it into account the cheap price of the room and add the expensive rides and arcades it becomes an even trade. They have a food court and other places to eat inside so that was nice. They have two pools, a splash pad, and some awesome water slides that really made it worth our while and the real reason we made a quick stop here.

My kids had a blast because of the "Adventuredome." My hotel rate was $28.85 but, the resort fee was $37.42 Parents if you stay here; you will be taking one for the Team (kids). Areas of improvement Housekeeping cleanliness is very poor; The comforters make you itch. The rooms have seen better days and the furniture needs to be replaced. No refrigerators or microwaves A solution to make this place enjoyable; should you select to stay here Remember that you are staying here for your kids and you love them very much Lower your standards to almost zero Bring pharmacy alcohol (90%) to spray the bed and comforter Lysol wipes to clean the surfaces

The check in was smooth. The rooms were decent. We didn't hear much noise from other rooms. Our room did have a faint smell of smoke. The service was great. We requested a refrigerator ($25 a day) and received it promptly. Also requested towels were brought shortly after requesting them. Also the service desk in the lobby was helpful.

This hotel is dated and wasn't clean. The tub and sink wouldn't drain and the phone didn't work and was dusty as were the other items in the room however they did come right up to fix the drains and phone. Though nobody answered when I called guest services. House keeping removed the bed spreads from both rooms (we had 2 adjoining) and put them in a plastic bag and never put clean ones on. The bag remained there through our 3 day stay. I called housekeeping and they said they would send someone up and later called and said those were clean. They never corrected that. I called the next day to have the room made up and no one ever came. The wall paper in the bathroom was coming off the wall. And there was no hot water the day we left. Upon arrival we were early we could early check-in for an added fee. I didn't like that. There were no amenities in the room like a microwave or refrigerator nor was there complimentary water or coffee. There are many places to stay in Vegas I cannot recommend Circus Circus as one of them. The bell hop service was very good and helpful but other than that not a ace to stay

Budget friendly. Suitable for families. They have a HUGE arcade and that is what drew us to the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They let us park not just our truck for free but also our camper in the overflow lot. The community areas smell HEAVILY of smoke, but that’s to be expected at a casino. The rooms did not though. The free show was super fun. The water slides weren’t all open because it was a weekday, and that was a bummer.

This was my first time in Vegas and I thought this place sounded interesting. I was wrong. When I booked it stated this was a no smoking hotel which was a lie. Our rooms reeked of smoked. Thank God I bought some febreeze along to spray everything down with. The carpet was dingy as were the windows, the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls and there were stains all over the counter in the bathroom. We had to sit our garbage outside the room for it to be picked up and replace our own garbage bags. For what they charge our rooms should have been cleaned daily without us begging. They charge a daily resort fee yet you get none of the amenities. We were given a number for room service at check in only to call and be told they haven't had room service since the pandemic started. There was a 10 minute hold for housekeeping to answer. It took almost an hour to get towels and toilet paper when housekeeping was right down the hall from our room. It took them a day to pick up garbage from all of the rooms in the hallway where we stayed. I will never stay here again. They have some great shops here, but for what we were charged it wasn't worth it. Please stay somewhere else when traveling to Vegas.

We only stayed one night and truthfully I was hesitant to stay here based on many different review sites, however we had a blast. The room was affordable, the bed was clean and comfortable, the arcades were awesome and so much fun, the staff was really great and parking was free! A few negatives, the bathroom floor was definitely dirty, the pool closed at 6pm, nothing opened until 10am and traveling with children the 6pm closure and 10am openings just were not conducive to what appears to be a hotel catering to children. Overall we had a blast, and it appears there are some renovations going on which is good to see. Also, shout out to the Good Samaritan who found my phone and turned it in when I lost it at the arcade games and to the staff who made sure to get it back to me!

The ONLY reason we stayed here was for a basketball tournament conveniently located across the street at the convention center. To check in took forever. Line was long. The woman who checked us in was great. Elevators are slow and one was broke. Part of the casino Smells like urination. Our room was not so clean. I used a whole thing of Clorox wipes to wipe all the hair on the bathroom floor and to sanitize the room. The AC worked great and beds were comfortable (casino tower ). Food options were fast food with long lines. Go next door to Resort World - they have an amazing food court with way better food selections. A lot of the people staying here we’re rude, blocking doorways, lots of unsupervised kids late at night screaming and running around-Let’s just say you get what you pay for - We will NEVER stay here again!!!! Gross 🤢

Stayed for a long weekend with some friends. Kind of a mixed bag. Rooms were clean but slightly run down. Customer service ran from poor to excellent and was pretty inconsistent. a lots of stuff to do but want able to the indoor park as it closes the whole time we were there. Bright side inexpensive but there were other options by the strip that would have been better.

This place is very budget and really out of the way. The resort fees often are about same as hotel cost. The rooms are a basic walls and floor and bed. Absolutely nothing else very basic. Place is old and rooms are either dated with old flooring or haven't been washed. I did note hallways carpet cleaned each day so maybe they also do rooms. I asked for quiet with no circus acts above me with kids and what not and they provided a high floor at end of hallway which worked great for me. I was happy with that. The choice of food onsite is pretty bad. Mostly just fast food. There is a grill that was actually better than the fast food. But nothing like you would get at other places on the strip. This hotel is not connected to other places at all so have to walk the questionable street outside or ride share.

I was happy with the staff over all. But the room was horrible. Carpet old and stinky, the shower had mold everywhere. Same with the toilet. Carpet was 2 tone so old and smelt. Not a average or good experience. How ever parking was adequate and easy steak house was good and the Italian ice cream shop amazing. Not sure I would go back. It was odd that the police were there frequently but no impact with me. But it is a kids place. The fun water park is a good thing as well overall the stores etc were very good as well.

Mediocre all the way around. Needs an upgrade. At least get rid of all the old carpet-in the rooms especially. It’s gross! But beds were clean and comfortable at least. My main annoyance, since we chose this hotel specifically since we came with kids: The life guards at the pool need a lesson in manners. My kid’s pool bracelet is visible on his ankle. They gave him a hard time that it needs to be on his wrist and visible. Which is not posted anywhere. We’d be happy to do that and follow all posted rules if they’re actually rules. But making a 7 year old feel bad for a super visible pool band on his ankle is not cool. Also-be an adult and speak to his parent. Don’t make a kid feel bad when his parent is 3 feet away.

I didn't stay at the hotel but instead visited the adventure dome. The hours were incorrect on the website, and their listed circus show times and acts are terribly outdated. The ceiling is in dire need of repair. The day we went, it was raining. The ceiling was leaking make full on puddles everywhere, causing a 75% closures of available rides. It was actually dangerous. People were slipping and falling. The cost is super expensive, and they didn't want to offer refunds even though they knew they should have shut down and never opened due to the rain. I won't be visiting here again. I'm super disappointed 😞.

Your staff all of them from bell boys to house keeping to security and front desk deserve 5 stars. Your rooms don’t. My room in the manor 1649 has mold in the bathroom and the shower head was plugged up. My room was never policed or cleaned for my two night three day stay. And your buffet I’ve been in 50 states 42 countries and I’ve never had such bad tasting “food” in my life. And your prices well let’s just say I’ll never come back $157.00 for a breakfast buffet? It was for 5 people but that’s $31.00 a person. Where did you get your eggs from? And the only thing good in your dinner buffet was ribs. Nothing else had flavor of any kind.

First thing we noticed is that the outside "security" door didn't even close completely, let alone lock. There is no security on the elevator, so anyone can come and go. This is where people take their Children!!! The rooms are dirty, furniture is chipped and gouged with pieces literally missing. The rugs are Filthy. The area where the tub and shower surround meet was totally dirty, not like it was stained but like no body had bothered to try to clean it in a Very long time. The mirror in the bathroom was smeared with toothpaste splatter all over it. The blankets are rough and scratchy and the bedspread was even worse! We had to completely remove it from the bed to sleep. The walls are so thin we could literally here the neighbors' conversations. We would have been better off had we stayed at a Motel 6. We will Never, Never stay here again!!!

Check in was not a great experience. The line was pretty long as there was only 4 people checking in guests. As a well known hotel, you would think that since check in starts at 3 PM you would have more employees doing check in. Once we got to the desk, we were told we had to pay a resort fee that I was not aware of. When I booked the room I thought all fees were paid except for the deposit. So I had to get out of line, find a Wells Fargo bank and come back later only to get in the long line again. Once check in was done, everything went smooth. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and we didn't hear any other guests our whole stay. The pool was a bit chilly but was great as the heat picked up. Food was great. I don't think we left the hotel during our 4 day stay except to walk the strip and to get breakfast on our last morning there. Everything we needed was there in the hotel. A lot has changed since I was at Circus Circus as a child. It was great to introduce my 2 children to a part of my childhood. We had fun. I would stay again in the future.

Ah, Circus Circus. A lot of people speak very poorly of this place, but I think it’s fantastic. It was finished in 1968, and 100% looks the part. It’s super dated, but in return it feels like you’re walking through a time capsule stuck in the 70’s. It’s amazing. The ground & promenade floor are massive and there’s a lot to to explore and do, and there’s a great variety of shops and attractions. The rooms are not the time capsules I was hoping they might be, they feel a bit more stuck in the mid 2000’s vs the 1970’s. But, the room is clean, the beds are comfy, and the blackout curtains rock. That’s what counts in Vegas. The tap water is also very drinkable. The pool is nice, it’s clean, warm, and not too crowded. Again, pretty bare bones, but it’s better than nothing. This place offers a very unique experience in being super old and showing it, but it’s so cheap, it makes it totally worth it.

This is a great hotel for the price! We stayed 1/19 - 1/23 in the West Tower in a King room. The room is very basic but clean and spacious. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, several dining choices and a great place for families. The hotel is located at the end of the strip but the bus stop is directly across from the entrance so this was super convenient to help get from place to place. If you're there to gamble party I suggest a different hotel, if you're going with family / kids, this is the place to be!

Everyone always give CIRCUS CIRCUS a hard time. I am here to give them 5 stars! They are down to earth. The waitress Sonia, Marilyn and another young lady (I can’t remember her name) were so lovely! Know this Circus Circus is paid for period—no over head. They make nothing but profit and that profit is used to upgrade the owner’s other hotels while circus gets nothing but a simple food court upgrade——FACTS! I love Circus Circus!!!

Visiting Vegas overnight due to business, and the comedy here made itself. I arrived and spent an hour in line checking in. First Saturday going into spring break, so I get it. Get to the elevator, and instead of having someone check for room cards as many other places have, you have to insert your card into the elevator slot in order to press the floor for your room. Makes it awkward for multiple people getting on at the same time. I get to my room, and it is warm, and was in the 90s that day. I turn on the air conditioning and go to dinner, thinking it would cool off. I was wrong, it got warmer, and the air was on the lowest temperature. Oh well, I will try to lay down and get some sleep. Try. Not much luck. That mattress had long since worn out its welcome, as it had quite a bow in the middle, felt as if the Flintstones had carved it out of bedrock themselves. Not a restful night whatsoever. The next morning I got up to take a shower. Water was hot. Really hot. The handle turned a couple or three times at maximum, but anything past a quarter turn was scalding. I survived. What wasn't good was the water that quickly built up due to the drain being clogged. Did I call the front desk on these issues? No, because the long check in process showed that they weren't available. Will I stay again? Not if it meant the difference between a night like that or sleeping in my car. I understand the reviews that talk about zero stars. For a 1-5 system as this, I subtract a star to give real indications of quality. I didn't book this hotel, nor would I book.a.less than 3.4 on my scale.

A hotel and casino that has seen better days. The hotel should be listed as a two stars, the only redeeming factor is the staff, their were nice. Besides that, the bath tub did not empty much, there is no cleaning included, there is an extra fee for the room that adds nothing to the experience. Plenty of things did not work, including things like the button for the elevator. Last time they did some real maintenance was probably 10 years ago or more, you can see it from the sign light that are not working or the last time the steak house restaurant was reviewed as good. If you are low on budget, I guess it is good, i mean it has a clean bed. But if you want anything more, might look a else where. I di not rate it one star, as it is the low budget option, so for a low budget, it is an options. But definitely I will never go back.

I first went to Circus Circus in about 1970. I recently went back in 2023. I loved Circus Circus then and I still do. The midway shows are so entertaining - and they’re free. The clown who balanced the chairs on his chin was extremely funny altho I don’t think it was the same clown 53 years ago 🤣. Circus Circus has tons of midway games and they also now have an Adventure Dome with roller coasters and much more. The food is great. The buffet restaurant was unbelievable - so delicious and so much food. Circus Circus is a super place for kids and adults, families you might say. I’d highly recommend it ❤️.

This hotel is a joke. A very bad one. Unfortunately we booked for 5 nights here and it was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this to anyone. The rooms are very outdated with questionable stains on bed and carpet. The curtains also had stains which were very unpleasing. We paid over $220 a night and did not get the level of service we expected. We did not get any room service during our visit despite asking for it twice. Room service completely ignored us. Ran out of soap and toilet paper. No fridge in the room and the cupboard has weird smell in them. The casino itself is very dry with no character And slots machines are old. It was good that hotel had arcade games for kids. But if you are in the sky rise tower, it’s a long walk to the room with no casino in that tower. Parking was free which was good. Would recommend the hotel to invest in itself and really care about their customers.

I recommended my friend to stay here for her trip. Her room was just OK. Nothing special. the room she had looked out over the top of the adventure dome.. I guess you're not gonna stay in your room a whole lot anyway. The dresser was a little chipped and looked old and the fire alarm kept going off when they showered. If you have a lot of kids I think it would be fine to stay here.. If you would like a small refrigerator in your room they charge $25 a night extra. They have a small water park with a giant slide and a couple of pools. I did not like that it was $10 for a hot dog. It's not that classy of a place to charge that much. I would recommend eating at McDonald's next door. The midway is fun for the kids to win stuffed animals and have a good time.

This hotel was a great concept and very family friendly. There is something for everything for everyone. The location is great. It has a Starbucks, Popeyes, and even Einstein Bagels. The problem is that this hotel and casino is VERY dated. From the carpet, to the decor, lighting, and even the bathrooms. Also, when you walk in, you can smell bug spray, like Raid. It's disgusting. The bathrooms look like they are falling apart. This hotel needs a massive renovation.

This hotel is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life. From the huge line at the garage to park, the enormous line to check in, to eat, to get in or out of elevators that were usually broken, people smoking inside every corner of the hotel and everything completely dirty, this place can only be described as disgusting. Do yourself a favor and spent a little bit more to at least have a decent stay!

I love this hotel. Last time I came here was in June of 2022. Now it's November 2022 and the hotel was renovated. I remember the first time here. It was back in December of 2016 and Circus Circus has changed. The food court wasn't there. The hotel was just plain white and red and now it's colourful and different rides in the adventure dome. I enjoyed my stay hear. Best service just that we asked for pillows at housekeeping and didn't have any but overall Circus Circus has been a nice hotel.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Luckily we were only staying there for one night. When we first walked into the hotel it smells like they were trying to cover up something…then we got to our room and the musty smell was almost unbearable. The sheets didn’t smell clean and they didn’t even use a fitted sheet on the bed. They just covered the mattress with a sheet and a green blanket that looks like it’s been used from when they first opened the hotel. I thought because it was only one night I could survive until I saw all the black mold growing on every corner of that bathroom. We complained and they offered us to look at a different room before taking it, but that one was even worse than ours! The ceiling looked like it was about to collapse. Finally they offered us a full refund and we ended up staying at resorts world. You really do get what you pay for… it’s worth spending the extra money to go anywhere else!!

It’s not good, but it’s not bad. The Circus Circus Hotel is overall decent for anyone wanting to save money on their next trip to Vegas. You can ask for a room upgrade if you are unhappy with your room (under a different cost), but the rooms aren’t bad. As a person who has visited nearly all the hotels on the strip, some rooms do lack cleanliness and modernness, however. As for service, the staff performance was below average (in my opinion). Most of the workers seem badly overworked, housecleaning takes a very long time if you ever happen to ask for assistance, and workers are never putting out any spirit. It’s a shame because the arcade seems bright and gives off a fun energy, but the workers don’t seem to care. Nonetheless, the arcade is still pretty fun, so if you have children, I would recommend visiting the arcade sometime. For the most part, if you need help, you’re probably on your own. Additionally, the location of the hotel is a bit far from the strip, so if you’re not planning on running a marathon… yea, gotta go find another place buddy.

Update: the front desk ended up giving us a third room and it was much cleaner and better than the first two. They were kind and apologetic. The rooms are dingy, dirty and the blankets are not washed. The sheets and towels are the only clean in the rooms. The beds sag and all angle down at the head of the bed (I was in two rooms). The water pressure is minimal and they don't even provide conditioner, just lotion and shampoo and bar soap that's super cheap. If I hadn't prepaid I would NOT stay here again. The good things are the adventure dome and the arcade for kids. The pool is old and water it ice cold which makes for sick kids when the temp is 110 and the water is freezing. The smell of smoke permeates the entire building. No room service and the rooms don't get cleaned unless you request it!

I am currently staying at your hotel and I must say I am disheartened by the staff after the hotel. Dina, who checked me and my family in was very helpful and very nice. However,  that is the extent of our satisfaction. My husband and I visited here on our honeymoon and thought to come back with our family, so we decided to stay at Circus Circus.. despite the reviews and opinions of friend ( who reside in Vegas). First issue was the safe, we checked in about 8ish, unpacked and realized the safe didn't work. My husband called the operator and was told that someone would come by in about 15-20 minutes, which is reasonable. After the 20 minutes passed, I called and spoke to a Lauren or Lorraine, who was extremely rude and short with me as i explained my concern about the safe (as though it is my fault the safe in the hotel wasn't working). She then told me to hold on and placed me on hold, she then came back online and told me it would be another 20 minutes, I explained that we have 3 children who are hungry, we hoped to make it on time for the buffet, and asked if e needed to be in the room, she told me yes we needed to be here, she then placed me on hold again, when she came back and said it will be 10 minutes, which seemed reasonable.  We waited and waited, after another 20 minutes went by, I decided to call back and spoke to Lorraine or Laure again, greeted with attitude again. We then had a knock on the door. The gentleman came in and fixed the safe,  we thanked him and went to dinner (missed the buffet). My husband and I decided we wanted to get a drink and gamble downstairs. I saw a gentleman who was asking for ID and assumed he was taking drink orders, he told me I needed to speak with a cocktail waitress, which I found one and did, to which I was told with attitude, she only worked one side of the casino and I needed to find the other waitress. I found the waitress and asked her if she would be able to take our drink order, she then with attitude as well, told me she was extremely busy, frustrated I said not to worry about, I will be gambling at another hotel. In the morning,  I called the operator to request clean towels and the trash to be emptied (as we have a baby in diapers), I was told to take out the trash and leave it in the hallway, as I walked into the hallway I saw house keeping with a trash bag, I asked if I could place my trash in the bag and if I can get new trash bags to place in our room (I was going to place the bags myself), I was then told I needed to go talk to another lady to get bags. Frustrated again, I said okay and went back to my room. My family and I went to lunch, when we came back I realized we never received the clean towels I requested in the morning or trash bags. I saw house keeping down the hall, I proceeded to ask for towels, I asked for 4 as we are a family of 5, and was told no she can only give me 2. I called the operator again and was told the GM on duty was Jose, after being transferred three times and placed on an indefinite hold, I have given up. I will never be staying here again.

Circus circus was our second hotel on the stop it definitely had a better atmosphere and cleaner rooms than the ex calibre however it would not rate them a 5 star hotel they are very run down the place needs a new revamp in their rooms the bathtub would not drain the toilet would not flush at first and my husband had to fix it because they never showed up to fix it they price adjust according to what's in town so if you're a family and you want to go stay there you have to work around all of these conventions because their room rates triple and as far as the amusement park goes it is limited to young children. The buffet however is fantastic.

Very nice hotel and casino! They have several attractions that are kid friendly! Also they have free circus shows that start at 1 pm and go to 4 pm. They have several shops, midway arcades, restaurants and eating areas as well as a couple bars and lounges as well! Didn't see any drink servers. They also have a pool and they give you a pass for each day you and your family are the they have a pool, jacuzzi, and a couple slides that are fun as well! The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the cleaning staff are very prompt getting what you need! They also have a couple tower hotels as well. It's def a nice hotel and casino to bring your family and kids!

I stayed two nights at this hotel for the When We Were Young Festival and it was an absolute nightmare. I paid several hundred for this location and was very unimpressed. All the elevators did not work and the wait times were long for the way up. I stayed on the 25th floor and there was not a way to signal the elevator to stop on that floor to take us down. We walked down the 25 flights instead, which was not ideal. On the day of the festival, it took 41 minutes to get from our room to the outside of the hotel with the elevator situation. Other guests experienced the same issue. The hotel did not provide any cleaning service and we were disappointed that we didn’t have clean wash rags or enough towels in the room after the festival. The restaurant options aren’t great for restricted diets and the rooms were average. They do not have included microwaves or refrigerators and it would be impossible to have food delivered or access food with the elevators down. This was a complete waste of money for a less than ideal experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I’ve loved other Vegas hotels just not this one.

Going in I was so nervous about the reviews. DO NOT GO OFF THESE REVIEWS! But my stay was pretty good, everything was clean. When I asked for extra towels I received them within 5 minutes. They were so friendly. The area was good. I did bring my own candle eleven though it was only lit for about 4 hours because we was always gone. Under the window the wallpaper had come apart. But it was not terrible like they claim. I slept good and I even won at the casino. I’m bringing my kids back!

Casino is extremely hot, like surface of the sun temperature. Front Desk is ornery. Not as dirty as expected but as old and outdated as expected. Housekeeping is extremely nice and quick. Extremely kid friendly! Amusement Park inside as well as a huge arcade and obviously has a Starbucks. We stayed here as a team for a hockey tournament and everyone had a great time.

Very dated, but very inexpensive also, so what you pay is what you get. We booked here because it seemed kid friendly with the circus, arcades and theme park like atmosphere. There are no amenities in the room at all, something that you come to expect automatically in the majority of the hotels in this country. Wifi is spotty and doesn't work with Apple devices without tech support.

I'm pretty pleased with this hotel. It's not terrible but I will say that there were some minor inconveniences: I went to take a shower and the water would not get hot, the shower head leaked (when I say leaked, I mean sprayed) whenever it was turned on, I was pretty disappointed that the pool closes so early (5pm) I wanted to go for a swim before going to bed but couldn't. Aside from that, I actually really liked this hotel. Beds are comfy enough to sleep on, the thermostat may be old but boy does it work great, and the other customers are super friendly (at least the ones I met, I didn't come across anyone rude during my stay here).

This is nice, inexpensive hotel. The place is not fancy and you get what you pay. Our room was clean but bathtub was clogged. Rooms are old and outdated but clean. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. The free shows are really fun. Is a nice place to stay with your family but if you are looking for something fancy, new, and better you probably need to spend more money and go to another hotel.

Almost a 3 star, but decided on 2 stars for a few reasons listed on cons below. Pros: lots of options for the kids to keep them entertained, arcade options are impressive, adventure dome is a unique amusement park, circus acts were really good, room was clean but dated and musty smelling. Cons: check in times are lengthy, we got stuck in an elevator full of guests on floor 26 for about 10 minutes, smelled “smoking” in several locations in the hotel, and the worst part was the many staff aggressively pushing time share “opportunities” on their guests.

We came into the room and half of the lights don't work. Nothing is clean there's dust on the headrest of the bed and the nightstands. The table's aren't clean there's spots all over them. The heater did not work and we had to call engineering up here to fix. Right after they left I tried to take a shower and found out there was no hot water. I called down again about it and have not seen anyone or heard anything in an hour. And after running the water it seems that you have to turn it on and run it for an hour before you take a shower for it to be mildly warm. There is no microwave or fridge or really much type of storage other than a dresser that is all but falling apart. There's no complimentary coffee or anything that you would get at a standard hotel even a cheap motel. Hotel reservation was $300 with reservation fees and came out to about 600 for four nights. Absolutely not worth the money. There are airbnb's for a quarter of the price with better quality within 5 minutes.

Rated high because it's a best choice for the low price. While not known for being fancy exactly, it also isn't too lacking in big hotel feel. It has two indoor corridor towers, which I highly recommend staying in. The motor lodge they own across the street pulls down the overall vibe of the place and I wish they'd knock it down and put in a circus theatre (a la Cirque). The rooms are clean, spacious & feels safe. I stayed on days where the $25 basic cost ended up being a total of $38/night, which I appreciated & spent in the casino (which is more fun than an expensive room elsewhere). My family has been going to the various Circus properties for 20+ years and I keep coming back because it's a modest but classy place.

I stayed in this hotel for almost one week. It is an old hotel has not been updated. Rooms are not that bad but if you have to wait for an elevator you can wait for 30 min or more. If they are not prepare for high season the hotel should not be that full. If they have an emergency I do not know how people is going to go out. There were around 10 elevators per tower and only working 2 elevators is something crazy.

I’ve been staying at Circus Circus for the last two times we visited Las Vegas. However, our third time was a total let- down. Because of the pandemic, you would expect your room to be cleaned everyday. This is not the case at Circus Circus. Coming back from my Vegas tour to the hotel I was shocked to see the beds weren’t made and the trash wasn’t taken out (mind you we had a one year old in the room which means diapers) They hadn’t restocked our shampoos and there were no clean towels. I called Housekeeping to take care of it, but they never showed up. It was the same thing for the next three days I stayed there. They never once fixed the sheets, took out the trash, or cleaned the bathrooms. And let me tell you their elevator service is HORRIBLE. (Especially if you’re in the Skyrise Tower) The elevator buttons were jammed, so we had to take the stairs down to the first floor lobby from floor NINE. With a stroller! This is absurd. Never staying at this hotel again.

Spent 3 days here for my birthday and had a great time! We had originally gotten a room in the skyrise tower but we got upgraded to the west tower. They were a bit dated but it was alright since we knew we wouldn't spend much time in the room anyway. Housekeeping was super nice and brought us towels everyday like we asked. Overall i enjoyed the stay :)

A fun that will be remembered Really enjoy how clean and professional the staff was. All rides but 1 was working. Lines was not long but fast. 1 ticket is a all day ride pass. They have a snack bar and a bar for some great drinks. Bathrooms was clean and kept up. There was a a lot of winners on the arcade side. Laser tag and escape room is a must try. Fun for families and couples or friends.

The pictures that they show are nothing like what it is inside it’s dirty dingy yes the price has an OK thing but the rooms do not look clean the bedsheets we had asked to be changed because they were dirty. The Hotel staff and Service or wonderful. The breakfast buffet/brunch was disgusting cold and we spent 2899 for that not good at all so don’t even think about going it’s good for children but they could step it up a little more from hearing from other people years ago how wonderful it was and how beautiful not in a good area not a place to say overall oh and the elevators only two are working ..😭😞😔.. definitely won’t be staying here again and needs a facelift and some better cleaning service throughout the whole building or all of the buildings need a fix me up believe me they do because the pictures are not what you get.

The rooms in this hotel are overdue for renovations. The decades long smoke filed carpet is just tragic. But if cigarette smoke doesn’t bother you, you’ll enjoy this place. We stayed here with children. A highlight is the outside pool area. It’s a beautiful space for water lovers of all ages. There are even cabanas you can rent. You can buy snacks including hard seltzer from the convenience store. There are also food trucks. There are also acrobat performances throughout the day, an arcade for kids, Adventuredome is located within this hotel. There are chain restaurants in the lobby which is a more affordable option for tracking with families. I would likely never stay here again, however the amazing pool is only for hotel guests.

I enjoyed my stay at Circus Circus. The room was very clean and we had a nice view. It's nice to see a hotel that welcomes families and has family oriented activities. Some areas of the hotel are in need of an update, but you can't beat the price and the free parking. I will be back.

This review is for the casino, circus acts, and arcade. I did not stay in the rooms here. We walked in to see the circus performances and were very impressed by the performers. They were real professionals performing great entertainment for free. In between performances we checked out the arcade and casino. The carnival games were great and they had multiple sets of ski-ball lanes. When one game did not work, the manager Alan came over and helped us. He was really great and comped us for the game that did not work. He also told us a lot about the circus performers and fixed the non working ski-ball game for us. Then let us play a round for free to test it. Very good customer service. The casino was ok but had a stronger smell of smoke than most in Vegas and definitely needed a new carpet. I would recommend checking this place out. It offers something unique and we had a good time.

This HOTEL is excellent for KIDS we had a ball as we stayed at Flamingo but I wanted my daughter to experience CIRCUS CIRCUS. The upside it’s a huge indoor arcade and carnival. The downside it’s older and looks it. The area cleanliness is questionable as they try but it’s old Carnivals ride with water and materials. I give it a 9 out of 10 stars but 10 out of 10 for adults who want to play no traditional slots without kids screaming-Let’s go. Put $100 on her card and she was occupied for 2.5 hours.

I stayed here in the 80s as a child, almost positive nothing has changed. I think the hotel is too far gone at this point. It needs a lot of work.. rooms are dated, and not much is being done to fix them. This was the worst room we stayed in during our road trip vacation. The adventure dome is fun! If you go early, the ticket prices are more affordable.

The carpet in the room was dirty, shower tap was leaking, no bathroom fan, not enough lights, furniture and doors looked old. Service calls were polite. Great location and good for kids. Pool was good but timing was odd. They close at 7 pm. The tall slides would only open at 11 am. We had to go after trying few.

This resort is definitely showing its age. Consider this the holiday inn of resorts. The first floor is rough around the edges but clean. You really see the "deferred care" in elevators where half the numbers are missing. Though maybe that's just a fun carnival game. There are definitely better stays for about the same price.

Did not stay here, just walked through as we passed by on a short walk from the Hilton Fun setting for kids and family, but oh so old and unkempt. Registration area was small, set off to the side of the dirty front doors with only 1 clerk needed and no one waiting to check in. Very smoky 1st floor casino setting. We happened to walk up to the Midway just in time for a short clown show and balance act. Those were very amusing and I'm glad we were able to see them as it was the only bright spot in our brief encounter.

So first off, I did not have a room here, I/we came to visit to experience the Circus Circus experience. Because there are a lot of reviews about how bad this place is I wanted to see it for myself. After being dropped off out front we went in and you could tell the place has never been updated. There is a funky smell when you first arrive, but once you're in there for a few minutes that smell goes away. I wanted to check out four things in regards to this place: Dollar coin slots, the merry-go-round slot games, the trapeze act, and the arcade. First, dollar slot machines. The reviews are correct that it can be hard to get a machine, but that depends on what time of day you're there. We were able to play and one of my friends actually won a hundred dollars on one pull. The experience is fun and worth trying your luck for a few bucks. Second, the merry-go-round slot machines. It's a fun novelty to play and take videos of yourself or friends ging around. Third, the arcade. If you have kids or just like to play video games and/or ticket games this place has it. It's fun and pretty big. You can even play Midway games to win stuffed animals. The prices are about one to two dollars per game. Lastly, the clown and trapeze show is about 15 minutes long and worth watching if you're there around when it starts. Grab a seat though because it does fill up quick. Overall the place was fun for what I was there for. When I return to Vegas I would go back with friends. The staff were helpful and fun to chat with. If the hotel got renovated I would give it more of a chance for other things. The only other recommendation for the casino is to make this place smoke-free. There are a lot of children that come with their parents and it saddens me the amount of smoke they are around.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was super spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. (Toilet is loud to flash in the night 😆) The check in was smooth and easy. When we asked for extra towels and iron, they brought it within an hour. We stayed on the 10th floor, only one elevator worked but it’s okay. The swimming pool area was tidy and clean. 2 slides and the jacuzzi was not working. You can see it’s an old hotel but they keep it in good condition and clean. Free parking. All together we had a good experience.

We called a week before my 79 year old mother was to check in to make sure that when she arrived at midnight 9/30, the date of her reservation, that she would be able to check in. The person, who was amazing, ASSURED us that Circus Circus would be there to welcome and take care of her, so my mother could "check in, go up and change her shoes and that she would be right back out to enjoy herself anyway". I thought GREAT and gladly relayed the news to my elderly mother. On September 30th around 1:00 a.m. Vegas time, my mother went to check in and was meant with a an extremely long line that wrapped around three times and when she finally got to the counter she was told that they are still checking in for 9:29 and that she had to wait until 8:00 a.m. which was 7 hours away. There is no place to sit. By 79-year-old mother, who had been up the entire day had to now wait another 7 hours to be able to check in from her flight and be able to relax. There are no wheelchairs no one was going to assist. Unacceptable.

I hear a lot of negative things about Circus Circus, but we had a great experience. We stayed at C Manor, which is the 'motel' portion of the resort. Although dated, the rooms are very clean. I enjoyed the slides at the pool, the free circus shows, and the gambling. The dealers at the blackjack table are friendly, Interactive, and offer tips that make you feel that that genuinely want you to win! -This is something you won't find at other casinos like Caesars. I wish they had better restaurants, not so many fast foods. I will definitely stay here again.

It's definitely a low end casino. But if you go there knowing that, then you won't be too disappointed. The place is definitely worn down and a lot of things were not working. But the price point is low. My biggest complaint is that our room was dirty. We had aunts all over our bathroom. All over the bathroom counter. No idea where they're coming from. But seeing ants on your toiletry and bag in the bathroom is not a pleasant experience.

Checked out Circus Circus Casino late night and wow! This place totally has the dive bar feel that my group was looking for. After touring the other casinos on the strip, we felt more at home here. Circus Circus offers a unique and lively experience on the Las Vegas Strip. The casino features all the gaming options you’d expect. The arcade upstairs was a fun twist, and the token-based slot machines brought back some nostalgia that we loved! It was slots of fun!

This place was absolutely disgusting. Everything from personnel to the rooms to the location. Dirty floors. Rooms not being cleaned properly. My dad contracted athletes foot from the shower/bathroom. Bed bugs in the main tower rooms. 24/7 noise and disturbances. It was terrible. Upon check in we were told they could not give us our money back for the room after we said we didn’t want to stay. Then charged us fees for booking and resort fees TWICE. We tried parking our trailer in oversize parking. Security understood, state we could park there, apparently “told their manager” and then we got a citation for parking there. Took it to the front desk and they said “oh that doesn’t matter, they won’t do anything about it.” Consulted with a supervisor and then a manger for a refund and we were told NO. I would not recommend ANYONE to stay here. Every single person that worked there had a piss poor attitude. Our room was never cleaned. We stayed one night, left to stay at another hotel for five days, came back to our room the same way we left it. Left a night early to head back home because we didn’t feel comfortable being there.

So. Rooms here are dated, and you can smell mold in the bathrooms. Paint won't cover that. But make it worse. Sand down the walls before using a spray gun to coat existing corrosion. Play it cheap. Lose good value and most of the market. Kids' shows are limited. Kids' games are limited. Kids' food is limited. Not like Reno here. Not at all. Indoor pool closed. The interior is old looking and dated. The lighting is dark and dated. The table games are 90% house driven. They'll give you 10% back to keep playing your mortgage. The worst odds. Circus Circus is meant for the heavy drinker who has $500 in bank money to spare. Great gift shop. The last of the coin machines. There's 2 rows of jingling cash you can hear of reminiscent Las Vegas of old. That's the 3 stars here. The Nostalgic Era of the Gambino is felt here. Have a good memory, and keep your pockets tight.

Holly and Trina at the check-in counter of the front desk were really nice and friendly. My family and I stayed here from 1/29/2023 to 1/2/2024, although this stay was made up of 2 reservations. Despite this inconvenience, Holly guaranteed the same room straight to the check-out day for us and even gave us a higher story room. This meant a lot to us since some of my family members came from overseas, and we wanted to get the nicest room possible, which she made happen for us. Trina also assisted me in resolving some problems in a very timely manner. The building and facilities were satisfactory for the prices we paid, although we wished we could have had a refrigerator by default in our room; an ice machine could have met our needs anyway. Circus Circus is always great "Circus Circus". It stays the same. I loved here.

Nice Place to stay in if you come with the family. If you reserve it with time you’ll usually get a great price. That way you have more cash to spend on fun. I wouldn’t recommend if its just you and your partner or if you are looking for that spring break vibe. The casino is fun, especially if you stay in the casino hotel, all you do is ride the elevator down and there it is.

The hotel staff were very accommodating due to the size of our family. They were helpful from beginning to the end. The hotel was safe and all staff were so friendly. It was like they were there to make it a magical experience for my family. The circus Vargas flying trapeze was amazing and the show was great, just get there early to get a good seat. The hotel is still a fantastic place for children with the rides in the adventure dome and oh the pool area with the slides were so much fun.. You really don't need to leave the hotel unless you just want to take a walk on the strip. It is busy and full of people now however, the staff make things welcoming and oh so comfortable... you must see for yourself. I really enjoyed my stay with my family this past weekend. Hope you enjoy yours too.

this place really is great for what it is - free parking, and cheap. don’t expect for anything other than that and you’ll enjoy your stay! pro tips: - beware of the long wait for elevators, just get on regardless if you’re going up or down and then get to where you need to go, it cuts down your wait time significantly. - i don’t know if this applies for all the rooms but our A/C would not shut off so it was FREEZING. bring a blanket! - garage 2 will be your friend.

Waiting in the line for an hour. Line was so long. We already got here late because of flight delays but too be standing in line an hour is ridiculous. I asked them when do they do house keeping they said due to Covid they don’t clean rooms after 4 days. Uh news flash you should want to clean more because of it. Terrible place to stay. Elevators barely working cards don’t work on them. I wish I could give it a -1

Literally the worst hotel experience I think we've ever had. Maybe a good place to stay with kids if you can handle complete chaos - extremely loud, overcrowded, busy, rude guests, difficult to navigate to rooms, SO many weird smells, dated rooms, terrifying clown statues (although we should have expected this, it IS circus themed...) We were looking for a budget friendly option so had low expectations going in but Circus Circus exceeded our expectations...and not in a good way. This place was complete sensory overload from the minute we walked into the lobby - extremely long check in line with guests ranging from friendly to seemingly wanting to pick fights over nothing. Check in manager was helpful and explained how to get to our room so we were like OK, maybe it's not that bad, staff seems good, thought we were checked in correctly... Then we were awoken out of a dead sleep by security guards pounding on our door to escort us out early the next morning...they literally waited and stood guard until we all exited the room and would not let us back in until we went down to the lobby to pay a fee the staff failed to disclose was not paid at check in as their system was down... This wouldn't have been as bad if we hadn't traveled from 3 time zones away and weren't running on 2-3 hours of sleep...AND if I was advised AFTER ASKING IF EVERYTHING WAS PAID UP the night before that it wasn't... Went down to pay what turned out to be a security deposit they were supposed to collect the night before but did not - best counter staff said they could do for the inconvenience of being literally ejected from our room was a potential room upgrade. No I do not want to go move all our stuff to another area of the hotel that might take another 20 minutes to walk to, I just want to go back to sleep so thanks but no thanks. Also, the sink was completely clogged up, there were minimal blankets and pillows on each bed and the room had a bit of a lingering smoke odor. At least the security guard that escorted us out was nice.

Nostalgic, dated but don't let this stop you. Once in the center of the building, it is updated and a jewel. We were sad at first but then found an amazing inside. From what I know this is the only casino that still has quarter slots.

Horrible from the minute we walked in. Claustrophobic with an extremely crowded lobby of people waiting in an hour long line to check in. Families camped out on the floor. No real AC going. The entire property is run down and trashy. The shower head does not stay upright so you have to hold it to shower. Tape was used in an attempt to keep the wallpaper attached. Our kids couldn't sleep because of people fighting and thudding on the common wall. No one answers the front desk phones so we had to walk down there at 1130 at night to request new rooms. All they had to offer were rooms that were far apart which was unacceptable. We opted to call security and that resolved the issue. We still decided to leave the next morning and get a refund. The arcade and adventure dome were not worth the terrible experience.

I have almost three hundred reviews and this is my first 2 star. I would give it one star but the amusement park inside was decent(although over priced at $60 a person) no coffee pots. No microwave. No fridge. Elevator broke down. Pool closes early. The other pool was closed the whole time. The only good things is it’s the cheapest hotel on the strip. I’d say spend a few extra bucks if you can and go somewhere else. If your on a budget it works.

I just wanted to contact you regarding a wonderful associate you have in lost and found. Miriam is awesome, I was looking for my son’s lost football Jersey I left on a recent trip and unfortunately it was never found but she was very empathetic. I called twice and she provided me with a direct number and a time frame to check back with her. She then later took my number and thought to update me before her off days this week. It was very thoughtful of her to do that and I just want to say I really appreciate your staff and I would gladly visit your hotel again, everyone was very friendly. Also aside from this my family had a great time and good food options. The whole family was entertained. Thank you again.

If you love old-school, this is a great place! Low ceilings, little shops tucked into corners. Service was great everywhere, very friendly. Also one of the best places for kids. My son loved the Midway upstairs and Thunder Dome. One negative: they could use better air filtration. Very smokey. And the Sports club is closed for renovation.

I have stayed multiple times and in various rooms on the property and have always been satisfied with my accommodations. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Some have a better view than others depending on what tower and direction your room faces. The expansive property allows for multiple options in room/accommodation choices, from tower rooms to the manor and RV Park. Each with its own attributes and slight disadvantages. The Sunrise Tower, manor and RV Park are all across the street from the main hotel and casino, so proximity to the main building differs with each and is a bit of a walk if you have children or disabilities. I travel everywhere with my young son, so family friendly properties are an extremely important factor when I look for places to stay and Circus Circus is at the top of the list in that regard. No matter your child(ren's) age(s) there are plenty of activities and entertainment for everyone. The staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay one to remember. There's a variety of food to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters conveniently located on site and plenty of shops to pick up something for everyone. Since this is a popular destination, check in can be depending on the day, either smooth and quick or an hour+ in line. With all the amenities and competitive room rates, Circus Circus will become a family favorite and a place you can return to year after year. It is a place I highly recommend to family and friends who are looking for a family friendly place to stay when in Las Vegas.

Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas is a lively and exciting destination that offers a unique and family-friendly experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by a vibrant and playful atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I have to say the best thing about Circus Circus is the name. I went because I wanted to experience an old guard casino in Vegas. Even then I was kind of let down because of how run down it was. I tried to get a taxi and waiting 30 minutes before I ended up having to walk a mile to the Hilton to grab one. No assistance outside or taxis to be found at the lineup. Overall, if you want cheep and moderately acceptable this place exists. If you want decent or better I would look anywhere else. The people were nice inside as with any Vegas hotel trying to up sell you, but it just wasn't a place I would return to.

I'm giving this hotel a 2 overall which is being nice. I picked this hotel mainly due to the pool, slide, splash pad, and midway since we have kids. Not only was our room dirty but the hotel is dirty. Bathrooms are disgusting, it doesn't look like they ever actually vacuum any of the floors or clean them. It's also so big you get turned around every direction you go. If you want to see anything on the strip you better not have kids because it is a pretty far walk. And the lines to check in 🤦‍♀️ Pick a different hotel! I have pictures but it won't let me post them. Pretty sure they made the bed in our room and that was it (didn't even vacuum it) dirty walls, stickers on walls, toothpaste, hair, bottle caps, something on the ceiling above the shower.....stuff right there even a housekeeper can't miss (I know because I am one). They do not clean the rooms I hope I can help someone from being disappointed we work hard for our money and this was a disappointment

The hotel casino is along the strip but it’s in the far end. Parking building requires a walk and elevator ride to get to hotel building (need to consider when you have luggage). Room and hallway carpet doesn’t seem to have been vacuumed and shampooed in years. We were in the non smoking floor but the smell of smoke permeates the carpet in the room and the bathroom. Hotel infrastructure hasn’t been renovated in years so it looks ancient (don’t know if that’s intentional). Water pressure in the shower is very weak. Free toiletries suck esp the soap bar so better bring your own. No lights in the ceiling just lamps. Walls are very thin so if the room next to you is partying you’ll definitely hear it. For its price, better just get a better hotel downtown for the same price.

Everything was great! Nice place to bring your family. The buffet and pizza place are delicious. Only issues would be the elevators. They were so hot and took forever to arrive. The parking garage could use a good cleaning.

This hotel was pretty neat for the family. It was our first time staying here, my issue was the no microwave or mini fridge. The casino downstairs was near but everyone hogs the dollar slots, while you play, while tipping some are grateful while others are upset about the $2 tip for a modelo… 😑 The food area was nice, they have specials of $7.77 and it’s half a pizza, not bad for the kids. With some of the information I gathered from this first stay, I will be making some changes and adjustments. The rooms themselves aren’t at the best, but not enough to deter you.

34 minutes we waited to check in! Unacceptable!!! Pool closed at 7! Too early, unacceptable. Buffet was delicious, carpet needed to be vacuumed, it was 7am. Unacceptable to be dirty that early in the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will not stay here again. I'll let all my friends and family and anyone I know not to stay here!!!!!

Incredible service and very friendly. Ana at the front desk was amazing! Rooms are not the nicest on the strip but were clean and did the job. my kids loved the pool and circus shows that are free. Very affordable and a great place to stay for the price!

If I could give those a Zero Stars I would. Checked in for our room and then went up to it. Opened the door and the room was filthy. Carpets were all wet and we found out when we took our shoes off cause are socks were soaked and the room smelled like dirty feet and body Oder from the wet floors. Hallway stunk of weed and there was a condom wrapper and several pizza joint menus shoved in our door. I’ve never seen such a filthy hotel in all of my travels. The place was a hot mess. We immediately wanted to leave explained the situation to the rude “manager” and she didn’t want to do anything about it. Was just trying to pushing us out the door and would not refund our money. We were in the room for 5min. Needles to say She pissed me off and I raised my voice to get another person who was actually in charge and she was more helpful. I’m doubting will see our money back as they said we would. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. Or better yet watch The Fox 8 news story on them having a bedbug issue. You’ll understand when you see how dirty it is. You have been warned!!

Circus Circus is a hotel resort that i highly recommend you visit if you are traveling with family and kids. I haven't stayed here, but we always make sure to stop in with the kids because they really enjoy the huge arcade and tons of carnival games. This is a place to go have fun for everybody, especially if you're not visiting Vegas to gamble.

We were here on a long weekend, and the check-in took forever. The building is super old. Rain water was leaking on the cars at the garage. The parking is free. The elevators weren't functioning well (due to construction), but we didn't have anyone tend to us for a long time. The elevator was crowded for the same reason. The rooms were decent size, but the hallways and rooms smelled. The view from our room was amazing, though. The pool looked great as well. Decent hotel for the prize.

We were looking for a family friendly Las Vegas and found it with Circus Circus! Being from WA we were impressed with how affordable it is and with all the activities. The rooms were clean, the staff was attentive, and the amenities (pool, indoor amusement park, and tons of food options/huge arcade) were amazing. We will for sure be back!

This is the worst property I have stayed at in Las Vegas (out of 8 mid priced hotel/casinos). So many areas are haphazardly blocked off or closed... it looks like the entire property is going to close any day. (And it should) Everything looks worn out, feels dirty, and is basically beyond tired. The shops are filled with junk. The hallways are very dimly lit. The room wasn't in good shape either. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The ceiling had a patched crack the entire length of the room. The sheets and towels were scratchy and rough. The furniture is beyond old and worn. The dining options are terrible. The pool was incredibly far from the room and we had to walk through the entire "adventure" area to get to it. There are people near the entrances/exits offering you a "welcome gift" and trying to get you to sign up for stuff. It sucks to be hassled every time you come in or leave. The pool area was decent, although there wasn't much in the way of food/drinks, but it closed at 5:00! I wasn't expecting much based on price but I was still surprisingly disappointed. I won't stay here again.

Circus Circus will be most enjoyable for kids and people who don't care much about the quality of their hotel. Adventure dome: not that many rides. You can't pay for individual rides, only the $60 day pass. Not really worth it if you're not a kid. You'll have to stand in line to get your picture taken before entering where they'll briefly check your bag. All the rides and attractions are squished together so walking around is a pain but the two rolled coasters are pretty fun. The food court: absolutely awful. My partner and I both spent 45 minutes in line waiting to order. I was at Popeyes and one of their fryers for chicken had gone down. Meanwhile my partner was at pick up sticks and the workers were just moving very slowly. The food court was musty, dark and crowded. But some cheaper food options. Personally, my stomach didn't feel to good after eating my food though. Also no phone reception. The casino and shops: the casino was okay, nothing extraordinary about it. I went to the bathroom and (like an idiot) set my phone down. Realized 10 minutes later that I didn't have it on me and it was gone. Called multiple times to try and get someone to pick up. Asked lost and found, etc. Either the bathroom attendant took it or some random thieving opportunist. Would call everyday to inquire about my phone but most of the time my call wouldn't get through or would be transferred to the wrong number. Wasn't really surprised that someone stole my phone at one of the cheapest hotels around in Vegas. Though this should serve as a reminder for the quality of the people staying and working here. Overalls Circus Circus is a fun place to take pictures, take your kids for a day trip, or risk staying here to save costs if you won't be in your hotel often. Other than that, this place is low quality and that's the general experience.

The service was good but walking into the hotel you just get slapped in the face with a musty cigar smell. It smells like that smell has been lingering there since the 70s. They definitely need to update and upgrade a lot of things. The elevators are kind of sketchy. The room was clean but not enough outlets. The midway arcade was fun and the circus act was pretty cool. The buffet, oof, I had the bubble guts. The food didn't really look appealing and it didn't taste like it was fresh, their desserts looked like they bought them at Costco. The water in our room was shut off for some inexplicable reason. I don't think I would stay here again.

I stayed at the Circus Circus Manor section, which is very reminiscent of a generic Ramada inn from about 1999. The tub did not drain properly, and the room was very dated and poorly maintained. The bed was comfortable. This hotel is doing some renovations, but there's way too much that needs to be done for them to really be able to bring it up to today's standards. Ultimately, they're going to have to tear this hotel down and build a much better place. Avoid.

It was an interesting place to stay for my first trip to Vegas. The rooms and hotel are a little dated, but nothing bad. They are reasonably priced and located pretty well on the strip. Our room had no view, but there were rooms that would have a good view of the strip.

The hotel was in a good location and reasonably priced. It was near the Vegas Convention Center where we were headed. To check in took 1 hour as we had to wait in a line up, which can happen. Within 10 minutes, the queue grew to about 2 hours. But I noticed, for the next 8 hours, up till 11:30pm, the queue was still an hour long to register. The rooms were clean but dated. For the price, I would stay here again.

  • 2/5 Rob A. 7 months ago on Google
I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the convention center. It is a bit dingy and run down. The buffet is closed as are many of the shops. Lunch across the street at Peppermint was a happy find for food . I knew that I was subjecting myself to a fairly run down property and that was ok. I would not subject co-workers or family to the same fate.

  • 3/5 Mark V. 6 months ago on Google
Overall it was pretty okay. If I had to rate it when we first got there I would have given it 0 stars for the HUGE line we had to wait in to get checked into our room. Circus Circus has got to get with the times, it's almost 2024, get some electronic check in stations going or something. Otherwise, the stay was fun. Gambling was good, the adventure dome was cool, getting bombarded by hotel staff trying to sell you stuff, not cool. The room was very average. It's the classic motel feel, the shower drain was backing up, there wasn't a mini fridge, and they have super old TVs in the *upgraded* room we stayed in. I do like the location though, it's super close to Planet 13.

My kids had fun playing here at Circus Circus and we all enjoyed it. It took so long to get a place to park and I think they can do better with their parking lots knowing that so many people would like to visit them. I love the stores, the food court and the plane ride for kids. Though I couldn’t tolerate the cigarette smell but I will highly recommended this place twas great.

This place was so conveniently located and the service was top tier, always fast and supportive and with genuine care from the team. would definitely stay there again! the only thing I would caution is that it is a little confusing to get around and the elevators don't go to all floors, so it worth doing whatever works for you to get oriented because it was very much a maze the first couple days, to get from place to place quickly without getting lost.

  • 4/5 Michelle S. 5 months ago on Google
The hotel is old and is run down, but it is decent. Did not find any bugs! The draining in tub was slow. It was stuffy in the room, but you could not open windows. No one answered the phone for extra towels. We had to get them from housekeeper. Other than that, it was worth the price.

  • 1/5 Sascha M. 5 months ago on Google
It used to be good but everything is closed, the wallpaper comes off the wall, we had to pay a resort fee even the slides, and pools were closed. For what do I pay that fee than? The free circus show can be also watched by people who are not staying in the hotel. So the resort fee is just ridiculous. They catch you with cheap prices for the hotel room and than charge you such a high resort fee.

  • 3/5 Samantha 4 months ago on Google
Definitely needs upgrades but could be worse. My room wasn’t dirty as many others complained at least. Carpet is old and could definitely need replaced for sanitary reasons. Very dated but not insanely bad for the price. Buffet was closed but no biggie. Lots of little shops to choose from. I used self check in and out so it was super fast. I don’t know if I’d stay again.

So disappointed. Have stayed at Circus Circus Las Vegas a few times. However, it has been several years since my last visit. Unfortunately, there weren't any good deals during my stay so I paid full price. Full prices is over $100 a night. With this hotel being as old as it is, I find it understandable for the wallpaper to be a bit dingy and outdated, as with the carpet. But I always expect that the basic housekeeping to be good or better. It was not. Dust so deep on the edges of mirrors, headboards and pictures, it left piles when swiped by a finger. Dust and grime in the corners of the tiled bathroom, along with mildew along the tub. There aren't any refrigerators or coffee makers in the rooms. Which was even more disappointing when the only option for a decent coffee was Starbucks, because the other establishments said their machines were out of order to make a basic mocha. Also, Starbucks does not take online/mobile orders at that location. I just wanted a decent coffee without having to wait 20 minutes. Food choices weren't that great as well and there are many empty retail slots. My trip was great, however the stay at Circus Circus was very disappointing. I will never stay there again nor will I recommend to a friend.

For the price the room is very good. My room was located close to my car, along with feee parking , also the location is just perfect in that the crazy Las Vegas traffic sorta ends right by Circus Circus. We spent time at other casinos only a short walk away . This is not a premium property , but we were here for 6 days .. and it met our needs at a very good price . Gambling is pretty decent too , this is not a flashy place , but absolutely serviceable. 5 stars if there was a value rating .
