Extremely grateful for this gym! Very friendly employees and overall nice. Only thing I wish was just more respect towards women working out. Tired of seeing men (not all) go to the gym and just make a women so uncomfortable working out to the point that they leave because they are tired of being looked at. There should be some type of rule in place where nasty inappropriate men get reprimanding for their actions. (Out of the gyms control) But overall clean new equipment love it so far.

OMG the worst gym ever. One of the staff members was extremely rude. I'm a club member and he came into the locker room while I was showering, rushing me out. It wasn't like he was cleaning it, because he was on the phone making personal calls. The second time he came in rushing me again. He said if I didn't hurry up he's going to call the cops. I was shocked! I reported the incident to the manager and he did nothing. I have never been so disrespected and harassed by an employee before. The PF in tamarac needs to train their employees on customer service and how to treat club members. That was unacceptable smh...worst experience!!! Won't come back

Love this gym..never too packed and clean equipment! Bumped heads with one employee Michael who seemed very racist, unhelpful, and wouldn’t answer every time I asked to use a massage chair. When he did answer he was rude, nasty and had an unpleasant attitude. Other than that the other staff members are very friendly and welcoming!

On January 19 I enrolled and when I went to train the machines are all hard and without maintenance, really what kind of company is it that they cannot keep the machines in good condition and on top of that they lack things to be able to train well, for now I have to stay there because I just enrolled. They should think that customers must have good machines so that they do not get injured.

I’m extremely grateful that this location is open 24 hours and they’re friendly. It’s a large location from others that I have seen and have a good amount of different machines etc for whatever you’re looking to improve/maintain and whatnot. I do however wish that gyms include a larger chest pad that is able to be adjusted for females since it can get uncomfortable easily or quickly on the chest area.

1 star, I’m in disbelief. I been working out here for about 1-2 years. I call and someone that goes by the name of Veronica I believe hangs up on me after I said “Hey, how’s your day going” I was just trying to start off the conversation but she proceeded to sigh and hang up. Does she not like the job? Thats my guess. There shouldn’t be workers here that put out energy like this, I usually love the workers there but it seems to be going downhill in a fast manner. All I wanted was to upgrade my membership from standard to a black card

I like the work out that I’m achieving. Some of the workers are really great one more call Chelsea not the assistant Chelsea, but the worker Chelsea very hard worker, knowledgeable and dedicated. Also a gentleman named Quincy and a few other gentleman. I wish them the best.

I applied for a membership in January 12 . I went to the gym one time and that was in January. In March, I decided to cancel since I don't have time and I'm not using it. Later on while I'm going through my bank statements, I found out they charge me $52 when I called them ,they said it is for annual fee. I canceled the membership already, and when I was signed up for membership why no one told me I need to pay fee for maintenance. They went to my account and they saw I only use it one time. They told me regardless I have to pay annuall membership fees and they don't want to refund me my money. PLEASE BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR ANY MEMBERSHIP ASK SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY A MEMBERSHIP ELSE YOU WILL NOT GET THE RIGHT INFORMATION.

Haven’t been here in months. Usually I come here to use the machines and the workout equipment. I asked the Front Desk attendant, Elyjah, about the amenities at this location. He was very professional and polite. He answered a lot of my questions. For the first time, I used the massage chair today. It was a great way to end my workout. Next time I’ll try the hydro massage.

Just walked in here and the place is filthy.. people who come in as well as the people working here both play a part on how cleanliness is maintained but I don’t believe it’s cleaned by employees properly.

This location is a disappointment. Needs a deep cleaning or just needs to be renovated. Was waiting to take a shower and a centipede came crawling into my stall. They lockers room just scream dirty. The ceiling above the showers are molding. The equipment are terrible I’m very disappointed in this location. With the black card membership increase provide a gym that’s worth it. Will be moving to a new location or canceling my membership. I only kept Planet fitness for the 24 hours convenience but the location makes it not worth it.

Trainers were experienced. Location is right for me its a minute from my house. 24 hours gym is SWWWEEEEET just across the street. This gym is jam packed. Luv luv luv it. Black card the best includes massage chairs and beds, tanning bed take a friend etc. #baddie

I enjoy being able to check myself in from the app on my phone. Today was one of the better days because I didn't have to work three machines while I waited for the one I wanted to use while someone took a nap on it and texted on their phone (which is often the case).

I’m new to the whole working out scene and I love coming here! I feel really comfortable. No one judges you staff is really friendly, the facility is clean. There’s always staff walking around wiping up the equipment and cleaning solution is always there for people to use. I signed up for a different gym in the past and i felt like I wasted my money, but I feel really welcome here and enjoy going back.

I just love this gym! Can't beat the price at all! I been a member years ago then left cause I had to move.. then rejoined 2020 and I am super satisfied to be back! Shout out to the manager who did allow me to use a lock for my bike when I didn't own my own 👏💪😁👍 🏋️‍♂️

This location is clean but the staff and Manger are providing the members with the inaccurate info when it comes to billing, cancelations. The staff at the Tamarac location has told members billing starts on the 10. This is not true. Billing actually starts on the 17th. The membership fee is withdrawn out of a checking out on the 17th of the month. 2) Cancellations: once a member cancels that is it. They can not use the gym facility again. This is not true.. The members can cancel at anytime. If they cancel before the 10th they do not have a membership fee for the next month. After a member cancels they have access to the gym facility until the 16th of the month. that does not matter on which date they canceled. They can cancel on the 20th and still have access to the gym facility until the 16th. The Tamarac location is the only location that is not explaining the policy correctly to the members. I have spoken with other Planet Fitness locations especially in the area. Their managers and staff all state billing is on the 17th of the month. Cancelations have until the 10th of the month not to be charged. Members have until the 16th of the month to have access to any Planet Fitness location after they cancel. So my question is why is the staff at the Tamarac location telling members the wrong info?

The staff at the Tamarac Planet Fitness is very helpful and knowledgeable. I love the way the club is laid out and my favorites are the Hydro bed and the massage chairs. What a well deserved reward after a great work out.!!

This Planet Fitness is cleaner than any in Coral Springs or Tamarac, and have way more visitors. Staff is really nice.

The staff was professional, curious, and the locker room was clean. I found the crowds in the morning hours to be quiet moderate, and I didn't have a problem getting onto any equipment.

They won't let you cancel your membership over the phone and you have moved away and there isn't a PF in the area. Terrible customer service

I normally go to LA Fitness, but on Sundays LA doesn't open until 8am, so I usually come to this planet fitness since it's open 24hrs on those days and I go at around 5am.. It's alright, they don't have enough machines and some of the machines aren't very well maintained, not to mention the cable attachments are limited and usually occupied, there's only one set of cable handles 😔. Overall I am happy that there's somewhere else to get my workout in when LA Fitness is not open but LA Fitness is 100 times better and if I had a better option I would never come to planet fitness. 24 Hour Fitness is also a great option, I heard they are also owned by planet fitness and it's a lot better and nicer, they even have a sauna there so I was thinking of getting a membership there instead. So if you are looking for a better gym than planet fitness but can't afford a gym like LA fitness, 24hr fitness might be the option for you and if I like it enough I will probably cancel my membership for both LA Fitness and Planet Fitness and go to 24hr only.

Man this location is excellent!!!! Super clean, all staff members are courteous and professional. Quincy is by far one of the best Gym associates I've ever met in my life. QUINCY DESERVES A RAISE!!!!!

Five or six machines at this place are broken down, constantly. More maintenance and more machines are necessary. The one in Coral Springs is running much better is that because there's more money in that neighborhood? Very sad. Who keeps breaking these machines and why isn't someone watching?

Highly recommend! Very helpful staff. That's important for those of us that don't know what their doing. I feel very comfortable there. Not afraid to ask for help and I always get it!

Place is clean and staff is always awesome and courteous. Focus here will need to be on equipment and maintenance of said equipment, needs to be done more often. I’m not alone out there. Still find a way around the workout but a lot of machines across the floor have an out of service sign on them.

great people there but somehow my account duplicate when i upgrade to black card , and i was charged 3 months for a regular membership plus black card membership plus two anual fees so about $75 they never refund me . i spoke to manager several times , send them my bank screenshot showing charges and never do nothing. glad this contract will end in two months 👍🏼

Been going here every weekend for the past month since most PF locations don't stay open on weekend nights. It's a bit of a drive for me but worth it. Gym is large with plenty of equipment around. Employees are chill and keep the place clean. If you're thinking about coming here despite a long drive, I say it's worth it

Zero gym etiquette in this place. People "reserve" multiple machines at a time with towels and water bottles, etc. Plenty of others just sit on machines talking or just playing with their phones. I asked the staff for assistance was looked at like I was crazy for asking that people don't talk on the phone on machines. I cancelled. Bye.

The experience there was poor; they removed my lock without my consent and left everything exposed; they could have emailed you to notify you of their intentions, but they chose not to do so, which is really rude of them.

24/7 is by far the thing I like the most I have be to Planet Fitness locations from Los Vegas to New York City to Miami and Tamarac is right up there with the BEST of them LOTS of SPACE, CARDIO & 4 SMITH MACHINES !!!!! And I let people know about The TAMARAC location all the time

Roach in the locker room. I stomped it and gave 2 employees a heads up. One said "these things happen" and I had to advise I was alerting them so they could call a service to correct the pest infestation. 3 weeks later I attempt to a follow up at the front desk but wait patiently while one manager named Marlon opines to another manager about someone not showing up for work the previous day and how that person doesnt want to step up and declined a manager position and then they undermine someone else who did step up. The female manager then asks if I needed something. I mentioned the roach incident and without turning around, Marlon has a full conversation with me as he leans on the counter but faces away from me. He said "i wish somebody would have killed the roach...it was only one roach". To which I reply, "Right, but the point was to alert you guys and have it sprayed." Based on his change in tone and tenor, Marlon was now annoyed and advised "we get service once a month", still facing away and seemingly unconcerned about anything I had to say. When I asked if it was a corporate or franchise location, Marlon piped up "Franchise". When I asked for the contact info, Marlon stated "Im the owner too and followed up by pointing towards the counter and instructing his female manager to give me his card. While doing so, Marlon stated "everything comes back to me so if theres a problem, let me know." I assured him I would. This is that notification.

Great gym with a lot of equipment, it’s clean and staff are friendly. Also, you don’t get the feeling it’s too crowded because it has so much equipment and high ceilings with good fans for plenty of air circulation.

Solid gym, good atmosphere, pleasant overall, the equipment is up to date. The staff is friendly, you get what you pay for, the gym had no basketball court or pool. But has all the basic equipment you need for your health. The gym had pretty good water bed, great for your back and legs pain if you got excited and trained more than should've, overall I cann see value for my money at the gym. They got 2 plans one is 9.99 their premium is 22.99 If you have the budget, and pool and basketball or sauna is important, upgrade and go to LA Fitness or 24 fitness, if not, planet fitness is a pretty good gym.

Super busy. People hog on to several machines and weights for 1 plus hours and don’t let you use them. Unless you want to fight for weights not worth it. Staff does not care. Let people do what ever they want at the detriment of the paying members. Weights laying everywhere not being used and when you ask people say yes they are using them 🤦‍♂️

I believe he had my interest at heart and found the most suitable pair of glasses for me at a good price. I would recommend deal direct.

Planet Fitness is clean qnd well equipped with multiple workout options and fab amenities for Blackcard holders. Waterbed and reclining chair massage to complete the workout. They also feature free summer membership for high-school students. Guess where my high-schooler hangs out? Love it!

They're open 24 hrs. There's cleaning solution available at every station when I go. There's an abundance of equipment... however regular steppers would be very useful.

I love this location because it’s not super crowded the times I go which is around 2-4pm. Everything is clean & the staff are super friendly! 😊

I love this gym very clean but the price went up too high am waiting to see if I get any promotion I really Wanna go back to the gym I love using their equipment if anybody looking for an elegant gym check out planet fitness once u can afford the price can't wait to get back in the gym I was paying for this for a very long time and was not getting the use of it so I just cancel it

Th employees are nice and helpful and always cleaning. The whole gym is clean for the most part. The equipment is easily accessible with instructions on what to do. There’s plenty of equipment for everyone and even on busy days you don’t really have to wait for things long.
